00:14 asked to change their logo and team nickname, they are doing a thorough review of possibly

00:22 And it was certainly under pressure, including from one of its sponsors, FedEx.
00:26 Jeannie Buss weighed in on this.

00:29 Jeannie Buss, the Lakers governor, said the way that she sees it, teams are not defined
00:34 by their name.
00:35 That will not take away from their legacy at all.
00:36 She said teams are defined by their players, by their moments, by what they've overcome.
00:42 So she's definitely in favor of the Washington Redskins dropping that controversial and offensive
00:47 name.
00:48 And certainly, Melissa, this is a time for change.
00:51 It's not like the Redskins have been good on the field.
00:54 I think a whole new change, opportunity to sell more jerseys and be a part of history
00:59 would be something that would be great for that franchise.
