LeBron James Praises Governor Gavin Newsom’s Words Supporting Black Community

00:08This time he was praising California Governor Gavin Newsom.

00:12Now LeBron has been using his voice certainly a lot in the wake of George Floyd's death,

00:19a black man who was killed at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis.

00:24Now we're seeing protests, peaceful and also looters across the country and especially

00:30here in Los Angeles.

00:32But what Gavin Newsom said today was the black community is not responsible for what is going

00:38on in this country right now.

00:39He said, we are as institutions, let that be known.

00:44And LeBron James said the GOV in caps and with exclamation marks.

00:49He obviously was very happy that Governor Newsom said that and made that clear.

00:55So again, LeBron James using his opinion, using his voice on social media in matters

01:00of social justice.
