I PROMISE Students Cheer On LeBron James On Virtual Fan Board In Bubble

00:00I'm Jill Painter Lopez and how very cool for so many of LeBron James I Promise

00:06School students to find themselves on the virtual fan board as the Lakers

00:11played the Oklahoma City Thunder in the bubble. They can now say they have been a

00:15part of this. Of course LeBron James founded the I Promise School in 2018 in

00:20his hometown of Akron, Ohio and getting to see some of those kids on the board

00:25tonight I'm sure was cool for him just as I'm sure it was for them being able

00:29to watch on national television and finding themselves. Of course we also see

00:33celebrities and Lil Wayne was in the front row which would have normally been

00:37courtside. He's a big Lakers fan. He was on there tonight as well. Now we also

00:42know that some of the ambassadors from LeBron James I Promise School were at

00:47the I Promise Village which just recently opened and cheering on the

00:51Lakers tonight. We saw some of those pictures on social media from LeBron

00:55James Foundation and the I Promise School and that village of course again

01:00having just recently opened for families of I Promise School students

01:04who need some help, some transitional housing. They won't have to pay any bills

01:08while they're there and they will also receive assistance and help to find more

01:13permanent housing, job help if they need that and other things as well. So just so

01:18many cool things that he's doing and I'm sure that was very cool for him to see

01:22during that game as some of those students cheering him on.
