00:00As an unprecedented NBA season is set to resume,
00:04there are many questions,
00:05but if you had to pick just one, what would it be?
00:08For more on that, I'm joined by our own Michael Shapiro
00:11and Melissa Rowland of All Lakers.
00:13Melissa, let's start with you.
00:15What's the biggest question around the Lake Show right now?
00:18Well, the biggest question, obviously, with the Lakers
00:20is what is 35 year old LeBron James gonna look like?
00:24He said, as soon as the hiatus started,
00:27that this hiatus wasn't good for him.
00:29He said he was just rounding a corner,
00:30he was gearing up for the playoffs,
00:32he was obviously playing MVP caliber basketball.
00:34And after 17 seasons in the league, at age 35,
00:38his body was really wondering what was happening
00:40when he just stopped playing
00:42at the most important time of the season.
00:44So it'll be interesting to see
00:45if he's able to pick up where he left off.
00:48Now, Michael, obviously,
00:50we'll all be watching LeBron James very closely,
00:52but what's the biggest question for you?
00:55You know, I think with regards to the Rockets,
00:57it's the same as it was, you know, in February and March.
01:00You know, just how successful
01:01can this small ball defense be?
01:03The Rockets have no true center on their roster right now.
01:06They play six, five, four, P.J. Tucker as their center.
01:09But frankly, this kind of undersized unit
01:11had some real success
01:12before the NBA's coronavirus suspension.
01:15Robert Covington has been a really,
01:16really impactful addition in the front court.
01:19You know, the Rockets, they have, of course, two MVPs.
01:21If their defense can be a top 10 unit,
01:24they would stand as kind of a fringe finals contender,
01:26in my opinion.
01:27Yeah, I mean, I agree the Rockets could be a sleeper team,
01:30obviously, hoping to get Russell Westbrook
01:32back in the lineup and healthy.
01:34And of course, I would bet on LeBron James
01:37being LeBron James wherever they are playing.
01:40Melissa, Michael, appreciate your time, as always.
