00:00 So you're holding the autobiography of Malcolm X along with Alex Haley.
00:07 I don't know how far you are into the book, but what's your biggest takeaway so far?
00:11 I kind of just started a couple days ago.
00:15 But I've read a lot of notes over the years.
00:18 It's my first time actually reading this from start to finish.
00:23 Which is a very, very smart man.
00:26 Very, very, very smart man.
00:29 And basically, his words in the 60s and
00:35 what was going on is actually what's going on today still.
00:44 And understanding how powerful the Negro can be.
00:51 He used that word a lot, how powerful we are.
00:56 But we have to unite and we have to be together.
00:59 We have to stand strong because there's always gonna be obstacles.
01:02 There's always gonna be things that's gonna be thrown at us where they try to
01:06 weaken us.
01:08 They try to make us feel like we're not kings and queens.
01:11 And it's gonna come from all different races and
01:15 different shapes and sizes and things of that nature.
01:18 And just a very powerful minded gentleman.
01:24 And it's unbelievable to kind of read something that's coming directly from him.
01:31 Just hate, wish I had the opportunity to meet him.
01:39 Obviously, we know what the situation that happened along, not only him, but
01:43 Dr. Martin Luther King.
01:44 Some of the greats that have walked this face of the earth,
01:48 not only just here in America, but in this face of the earth.
01:51 It's a pretty interesting book so far.
