00:00 If the NBA is planning on returning to action this season, when will the schedule fire up again?
00:05 Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you. As NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said last week,
00:10 "We couldn't even guess until at least May 1st." When Silver made that comment,
00:14 many fans grew frustrated and concerned over the fact that a return cannot be guaranteed at the
00:19 moment. To add insult to injury, ESPN's Brian Winhurst mentioned before that many within the
00:25 league believed that the NBA was angling more towards cancellation. However, optimism is
00:30 growing this week. Not only did Winhurst reverse his report from last week, the NBA has reportedly
00:36 started working on a 25-day plan for whenever they are cleared for action. And most recently,
00:42 the athletic Sam Amick reported that optimism abounds in the ownership, player, agent, and league
00:48 office ranks. While we still have a long way to go before the NBA returns to action, there seems to
00:53 be a lot more chatter about how and where the NBA season will resume rather than packing it up and
00:59 calling it quits.
