00:00 Well in terms of the issues, housing is a problem, social services, the fact is that
00:07 local authorities have been starved for funding by the government over the last number of
00:11 governments and of course remember the Conservative Party goes back to 2010 when it narrowly got
00:18 a majority but not enough to create the government and went into coalition with the Liberal Democrat
00:23 and we had the period of austerity. That's really undermined council's ability to do
00:27 their job which of course is to provide the local services and indeed we've seen this
00:31 council going bankrupt. So people are looking for something better but the difficulty is
00:36 of course that whoever they vote in will still have the same constraints in terms of spending
00:41 so the Conservatives are going to get a bit of a kicking. The big show will be the national
00:45 election when of course the issue of local authority funding is bound to come up but
00:50 Labour have pretty much said that their ability to give the money that's necessary to improve
00:55 levels of services for local authorities is very very limited.
