00:00Nice to a colleague, there's another story in the mail with a picture of you
00:04grieving Kate. Council is still sending me posts for Derek and you attempting to
00:10stop the local authority which I think is is it Haringey?
00:15Yeah, this is not an attack on Haringey Council, it was born out of utter frustration. I don't like
00:21putting things onto Twitter but many good people including Martin Lewis say
00:24that often the people that monitor social media are also more staffed than
00:31the people who have to answer phones. So it's not really sending a post because
00:35you understand that there will be a period where you know the algorithm
00:39doesn't work out someone's passed away. It's just something that's been going on
00:42for about three or four years actually that the inability to convey to people
00:48that this is to do with many things but this is particularly to do with you know
00:53post, bills, demands, threatens of bailiffs, still going to Derek even though
01:00even though I've been paying those things but I have a different name and
01:05some accounts and and not be able to get through to anyone to say this person's
01:09passed away and I'm sure I'm not alone in that but I will say... I'm sure it's a
01:12very common experience. A common experience and yeah and very frustrating
01:17because you know you you want to be able to sort things out. And you want to be able to sort it out once
01:22don't you? Yes. And for that to be communicated across the public sector
01:27and I think I think actually people are better at doing yeah but lots of
01:32companies and lots of areas do have specific bereavement people who sort of
01:37take that on for you and and help you to navigate through.
