00:16Sort of breaking news as the Dallas Cowboys have signed a running back, a free agent running
00:22back has come to the star and the Cowboys have signed him.
00:28No, it's not the big name you guys probably were hoping for.
00:34Yes, it's a running back and it will fill a need.
00:37Assuming he makes the team.
00:40Boys and girls, we are talking, of course, about Royce Freeman, the former Ram, former
00:45Bronco, former Panther, former Texan.

00:53Just the second outside free agent, the Cowboys have signed after, of course,
00:59linebacker Eric Kendricks was the first.
01:03Is this the splash you wanted to see in free agency just now here?
01:08You know, a week and a couple of days before the NFL draft?

01:17Probably I don't hate Royce Freeman.

02:43Uh, last season for the Rams, Freeman had a 77 carries, 319 yards.
02:51Uh, his best year as a pro was as a rookie when he had 130 carries
02:56for 521 yards and five touchdowns.
02:58His best season for his career was his second season in the league.
03:03175 touches, 752 yards from scrimmage.
03:07Those were touches, not just running.
03:10So, you know, I guess, I mean, I don't know.
