00:00 Hi, I'm Romesh Vanganathan and I'm here at the Teenage Cancer Trust unit at Aldehay Hospital
00:04 just to pay a visit. That's what I'm doing and then we sort of had a discussion off camera about
00:09 what how to like do the next bit so I was supposed to go like let's go but I don't have like the
00:14 energy like the you know the my personal energy is not right for it but I'm going to try it.
00:18 Let's go!
00:19 Wow, one take!
00:26 It was an amazing opportunity to go into the unit and see what Teenage Cancer Trust has helped
00:32 provide and help fund. I also was lucky enough to talk to some of the kids and their parents and
00:38 it's quite emotional really because having cancer at any age is horrible. Getting cancer as a
00:45 teenager it feels like a particularly cruel time for it to happen and what Teenage Cancer Trust
00:51 are enabling to happen is for those people, those young people to go through that in as comfortable
00:58 and as supported a way as they possibly can do. I'm very grateful to Teenage Cancer Trust for
01:03 what they're able to help these families with. It's incredibly important work and they need as
01:08 much help as possible and I really would implore anybody, well I would just confirm to you that
01:14 it is such an incredible cause and you are making such massive difference to people's lives. It
01:19 really is worth getting involved with.
