00:04 In their final home game of the regular season, the Dallas Mavericks fell short to the Detroit Pistons,
00:08 107-89, a game for Detroit that just meant a little bit more.
00:13 Now, the Pistons have lost 67 games so far this season and we're looking to snap a sixth game losing streak.
00:19 As for Dallas, they were without Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving tonight, leaving a gaping hole
00:24 offensively, one that simply could not be filled. Now, the game of basketball is all about having
00:29 good possessions and having good shot selection, something that Kyrie and Luka typically do a great
00:34 job of, but without them tonight, the Mavs registered 20 turnovers. Head coach Jason Kidd
00:39 said postgame that he was pleased with the performance of his guys tonight. He said no one
00:43 got hurt and if anything, he learned that there was a promising future for some of his younger guys.
00:49 I thought everybody played well. No one got hurt. We played the CYO, we played everybody.
00:58 There was a lot of good things. The Dallas Mavericks will be back in action this Sunday
01:02 when they travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder in their final regular season game.
