00:00So you thought hoarding was so early-era pandemic. Well, guess what?
00:08Quote, it's not the same panic-fueled response we saw earlier this year, but consumers are
00:12definitely stocking up or at least considering it again, unquote. Consumer analyst Julia
00:17Ramhold tells Acorns, here we go again.
00:21So what do we need? Acorns suggests coffee, tea, cleaning wipes, and home pharmacy items.
00:26And soups may be in short supply, but not to worry. You can get a good stock of dried
00:30spices as well as a broth and canned veggies if you can. That might taste better than a
00:35can of soup anyway, right? The Washington Post reports that people are stocking up on
00:40toilet paper again, but that this time there should be plenty to go around. The CDC recommends
00:46shopping online for groceries if possible. If you absolutely must go to the store, wear
00:51a mask, disinfect the shopping cart, only touch products you plan to purchase, do not
00:56touch your eyes, nose or mouth, and try to go when fewer people are there.
