00:00 (APPLAUSE)
00:02 Good afternoon and welcome everyone.
00:10 My name is Shannon Irving and I'm the president here at the Rural Park.
00:14 I also have, like Chris's comments earlier, welcome the official guests
00:17 and thank everyone for coming to our grand opening
00:19 of our new, improved commons facility.
00:22 It's been a big project for the parks.
00:24 We couldn't complete this project without the help of a local member,
00:27 Helen Dalton, the New South Wales State Government,
00:29 through the Stronger Country Community Fund
00:33 and local council and the support through this construction.
00:36 And new toilets, including accessible toilets, showers
00:40 and a new kitchen facility.
00:41 Really, it takes our clubhouse to the next level.
00:44 Quite a valuable service to our local and extended community.
00:48 We welcome our emergency service organisations
00:52 and certainly young future pilots,
00:53 through the Australian Air Cadets,
00:55 to use this and join these facilities now and into the future.
00:58 I'd also like to thank our amazing team of tradesmen and women
01:02 who have done an amazing job to complete these renovations.
