Two New Zealand rally drivers were killed on Sunday, 25 February 2024, during the Arcadia Road Rallysprint, opening round of 2024 New Zealand Northern Rallysprint Series held in Paparoa, Northland of New Zealand.

15-year-old Brooklyn Horan and his co-driver Tyson Jemmett, 35, raced in the Ford Fiesta Rally4 bearing the race number #17 which left the road and fell into a swollen river. Both racers died before emergency services arrived at the scene of the crash.

Following the fatal accident, the rally which was organized by the Hibiscus Coast Motorsport Club, was canceled. Both the deceased racers were well-respected and much-loved members of the sport.
Despite his young age, Brooklyn Horan was a talented driver, already a star in rallying, off-road and circuit racing

An experienced rally competitor both as driver and co-driver, Tyson Zane Jemmett was the 2014 New Zealand Central Region Rally vice-champion. He also participated in circuit racing such as the New Zealand Motul Honda Cup race in 2013.
