Military Airlifts 6 People From Mines in Eastern Taiwan After Hualien Earthquake

Taiwan’s military has rescued six people from mines in Hualien, in eastern Taiwan. Fallen boulders blocked roads leading to the mountainside mines after Wednesday’s magnitude 7.2 quake. Rescuers used helicopters to airlift the stranded people. One miner in the area was killed in the earthquake and one remains missing.
