00:00 Did they know what they signed up for?
00:02 Oh, yeah.
00:03 That's a good question.
00:04 What characteristics did they have before the show that made them think, "Yes, I could
00:09 marry a stranger."
00:10 This would be the question for everybody though.
00:12 Do you know what you signed up for?
00:14 This week on Married at First Sight, we got to see some former castmates return for a
00:18 juicy tell-all.
00:19 And it turns out the former cast has some hot takes on the current season.
00:24 This is the first season where I'm like, everyone's being a little too honest.
00:28 But no one knows how to resolve conflict.
00:30 So, if you're going to dish it and do all of this, you need to be able to accept criticism.
00:35 And it was constant arguing and fighting and no resolution.
00:39 I don't think people were that honest though.
00:41 I think they were afraid of the cameras, afraid of what people would say.
00:44 So, I think they were holding back a lot.
00:46 Dasha has some specific advice for Austin.
00:49 Thinking about Austin this season and the whole intimacy thing, I think...
00:54 Oh, God.
00:55 I'm like...
00:56 Just pull her hair.
00:57 I know.
00:58 I'm just like, that's all she wants.
00:59 Fend her over.
01:00 Like, that's all.
01:01 We can solve this right now.
01:03 What are we doing?
01:05 I was sexually frustrated.
01:07 I was.
01:08 The whole season I was.
01:12 As for the lack of intimacy this season, Doug says he feels like the couples aren't really
01:17 dating each other.
01:19 I don't mind the couples not having sex.
01:23 What I think everybody's missing is the flirting, the dating, the intimacy, the touching.
01:31 You know, just like, grab a boob, get your hand down his pants.
01:35 Grab a boob.
01:36 Like, all stuff that's not sex.
01:39 Like foreplay.
01:40 Yeah.
01:41 And he wasn't the only one with a hot take.
01:43 Rachel and Paige says that they feel like they're giving up too fast.
01:46 Did they know what they signed up for?
01:48 Oh, yeah.
01:49 That's a good question.
01:50 Or like, what characteristics did they have before the show that made them think, yes,
01:55 I could marry a stranger?
01:57 This would be the question for everybody, though.
01:58 Like, do you know what you signed up for?
02:00 Like, I just wonder why sign up for a show when you know that there are certain things
02:05 that can present itself.
02:07 But that's what a marriage is.
02:09 For better, for worse, for sickness and health.
02:11 You know, so when you're saying vows or whatever the vows there were that you guys said, that
02:15 should be the commitment that you vow to throughout the process.
02:19 Aside from all that, Jamie thinks that the current cast is focusing too much about how
02:23 they're coming across on camera instead of focusing on their relationships.
02:27 I think that Austin and Becca, that security camera.
02:31 I said anything to make you look bad in any way, ever, on camera.
02:37 I'm not trying to make you look bad on camera.
02:40 I want to make you look bad.
02:41 They're going to be surprised by that security camera footage because they're talking about
02:45 what they say on and off camera.
02:46 Turns out they're on camera and they didn't even realize it.
02:49 Trying to manage what's going to be said.
02:52 That's why you just have to let that go.
02:54 It's like, just admit that we all have flaws and we're not perfect and that's okay.
03:00 And what it comes down to is two people who are being so authentic and so committed to
03:05 the process and to each other.
03:07 And it's hard to get both of the, that's really difficult.
03:10 But the tell-all was more than a look at the current season.
03:13 It also gave an update about how the former cast is doing.
03:17 And I know we're doing a 10 year anniversary.
03:21 And I want it to do it right.
03:23 We'll have more on Doug and Jamie's sweet moment in a bit.
03:27 But first, let's talk about Ares.
03:29 He's still living in Nashville and has a cordial relationship with his ex-wife, Jasmine.
03:33 And while looking back on his time on the show, he talked about his most cringe-worthy
03:37 moment, his revelation that he had at his bachelor party.
03:41 I had my newfound brother's day and we were just talking about like, you know, what we
03:45 projected to happen possibly on the honeymoon.
03:48 And I mean, I was prepared.
03:50 Like, I didn't even know how I was going to get through TSA.
03:52 I had like, like toys.
03:53 I had some stuff in my suitcase.
03:55 What did you, wait, walk us through what you had in your suitcase.
03:57 Mentally, because you got to pack for the honeymoon before, even before the wedding.
04:03 What did you have in your bag, Ares?
04:05 Man, I had a rose toy was in there.
04:07 I had like some, some cream, some oils, some.
04:12 I was, I was prepared.
04:15 You were ready.
04:16 Was this new or used equipment?
04:18 It was new.
04:19 It better be new.
04:24 That's so interesting.
04:25 You had all the toys in the bag.
04:28 Despite his relationship not working out, Ares says that he's still open to tying the knot.
04:33 Stasha, however, isn't so sure after her messy split from Nate.
04:38 And during the reunion, she revealed that he never actually signed his post-nup.
04:42 Really?
04:43 Yeah.
04:44 So I was going into decision day with like a no, but I just wanted to do the right thing and still be a wife.
04:51 So I ended up still going through saying yes on decision day.
04:56 And I still had like a marriage settlement agreement, like put in place.
04:59 Okay.
05:00 But yeah.
05:01 Oh boy.
05:02 Okay.
05:03 Stasha isn't the only one who had to relive the fallout of her marriage.
05:07 Paige talked about how hard it was to hear Chris say that he wasn't physically attracted to her.
05:12 Regardless of our differences, that was just like very just vindictive and like just mean spirited, you know, attraction.
05:20 You may not be attracted or whatever, but to say something as vile as that, I think for me as a woman, it just kind of, you started looking at yourself.
05:30 Like, am I enough?
05:32 Am I worthy?
05:33 Am I good enough?
05:34 Am I pretty enough?
05:35 I mean, I manage, obviously I'm in a way better place.
05:38 I mean, you know, adores me and respects me and lifts me up.
05:41 And so I don't ever watch my season after that situation because it's painful.
05:47 It's very, very painful.
05:49 And that wasn't the only hardship she had to get past with Chris.
05:52 She found out that he was expecting a baby with his former fiance on the show.
05:56 And that was not easy to get past.
05:58 I mean, it was a lot for all parties, including her.
06:02 I can only imagine.
06:04 It was a very rough experience.
06:07 I was so intentional about the covenant of marriage because I haven't seen so many successful marriages.
06:14 And I really wanted to give this a fair shot when I should have just chose myself.
06:18 But things worked out for Paige in the end.
06:20 She's now expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Justin.
06:23 Rachel also gave an update about how her relationship with Jose came to an end.
06:28 Broke up and then we were actually supposed to do like our final like counseling thing.
06:34 Yeah.
06:35 He never showed up.
06:36 Oh.
06:37 And then I was blocked.
06:39 Wow.
06:40 And then I was like, OK, let's get these divorce papers done.
06:43 Yeah.
06:44 And he's not contesting the divorce.
06:46 He's moving forward with it too.
06:47 No, no.
06:48 It was signature, signature.
06:49 Yeah.
06:50 OK.
06:51 But she's since found a new man in her life.
06:54 I exchanged them for a little puppy.
06:57 OK.
06:58 As for Garrett, he explained that his relationship with Amelia naturally ran its course.
07:04 What you're seeing at any relationship, those first six months, there's a rush of endorphins.
07:08 There's a rush of dopamine.
07:10 What the show naturally does not capture is kind of the moment when everything starts to settle down and reach an equilibrium.
07:18 Right.
07:19 And we were what, like a year in and we reached that equilibrium and it didn't have the same charm and sparkle as it once did.
07:27 And once that charm and sparkle subsided, what we were left with was still a sweet friendship.
07:32 But it wasn't something that we both saw ourselves in for the indefinite.
07:37 And now back to Jamie and Doug.
07:39 During the tell all, Doug lovingly looked back at their 10 year relationship and he shocked her when he got down on one knee.
07:46 I just want to say how much I've enjoyed spending.
07:50 Oh, oh, my gosh.
07:52 You're going to make me cry.
07:54 And 10 years is a big thing.
07:57 And I know we're doing a 10 year anniversary.
08:01 And I want to do it right.
08:04 I want to commit to you for way more than 10 years.
08:08 What?
08:10 I chose you every single day and I choose you still.
08:14 Oh, my gosh.
08:16 The two are obviously still going strong.
08:19 We're trying to conceive twins.
08:21 So if you can put twin vibes out because he only wants three and I'd love four.
08:27 We may have conceived last night.
08:29 Oh, you know, you never know.
08:31 I love it.
08:32 I love it.
