00:00 There's such an array of emotions attached to that period of my life.
00:07 Just very broken on so many levels.
00:12 Yeah, when you're raped it changes how you see the world around you.
00:18 Three girls have told me that you raped three girls.
00:25 You have raped three girls.
00:27 So you're not the first one I picked up.
00:30 He threatened to shoot me and in my head I went, "I will die."
00:35 I decided to call the police.
00:37 I thought, "Okay, they'll do something now."
00:40 Obviously you know that we're here to talk about an allegation you made mid-2018.
00:44 They will put to her that she's a liar.
00:46 Even when she's saying, "No, it wasn't like that.
00:48 It didn't happen like that."
00:49 The police had lost my recorded interview.
00:54 Sad for the victims but not necessarily our job to recover.
00:59 And she was speaking on behalf of herself and two other victims.
01:05 The police had just closed my case so I decided to do my own investigation.
01:17 See where those white curtains are pulled?
01:19 Yeah.
01:20 I don't even want to know what's going on in that room right now.
01:24 He's telling the victims going through his door that nothing will happen if you go to
01:29 the police.
01:30 So from there it really became about challenging the police.
01:34 I don't like having to prove my own innocence.
01:38 How many times in total did he rape you?
01:42 Four times.
01:44 It's really hard for sexual offence cases to make it to trial.
01:48 They so often don't.
01:50 So he's facing five charges in connection with your account.
01:55 It's going to be hard for him to make all that go away.
01:58 I feel sad for me.
02:01 For that young me.
02:02 I missed out on a period of life there that should have been more joyful.
02:10 But at the end of the day they didn't.
02:14 They needed to listen to me better.
02:16 They needed to believe I'm allowed to share my story because they're not sharing my story.
02:24 They're sharing theirs.
