00:00 No one is choosing the place of abuse since 2015.
00:06 That's the complaint against a man in Quezon.
00:09 The victims are his minor child and his nephew.
00:16 John Consulta is on the case.
00:18 Exclusive.
00:20 From different directions,
00:24 the police slowly approached the man wearing a T-shirt that was the target of their operation.
00:30 But when they felt that there was someone else,
00:33 he suddenly ran.
00:35 Stop! Stop!
00:38 Finally, the 47-year-old wanted man was caught
00:42 for running away from his stepdaughter a few years earlier.
00:46 After we filed the case,
00:49 we were continuously monitoring the suspect
00:51 because he was in a safe area.
00:54 The police immediately contacted the victim.
00:57 They were shocked when they confronted his nephew.
01:00 What his nephew is doing to him
01:03 whenever his mother is not around,
01:05 since 2015.
01:07 Within a week,
01:09 his stepfather was touching him three times.
01:12 He was angry.
01:13 He didn't want to admit it.
01:15 But his stepfather was still forcing him
01:18 to do anything.
01:21 He was afraid.
01:22 He was sad.
01:23 Sometimes, he would get up and cry.
01:28 The crime happened on a boat,
01:32 sometimes at home,
01:34 sometimes at the house of his stepfather
01:36 where he was taking the child.
01:39 He complained to his mother,
01:41 but she didn't listen.
01:43 In the investigation by the police,
01:46 they discovered that the suspect was doing something
01:49 to the child of his partner.
01:51 For nine years,
01:53 he was the one who touched his stepfather.
01:56 Now, this coming June,
01:58 our victim was born.
02:01 It's sad because this child is still a minor.
02:05 What's more,
02:06 we found out that his stepbrother
02:09 was also being touched by his stepfather.
02:12 We are still trying to get the suspect
02:15 who is now in jail in BJMP, Gumacaca, Quezon
02:18 while the DSWB is holding the 17-year-old victim.
02:22 For JMA Integrated News,
02:24 John Consulta,
02:26 "Nakatutok 24 Horas."
02:28 The authorities have now issued the warrant of arrest
02:33 issued by Davao Regional Trial Court Branch 12
02:36 against Pastor Apolo Quibuloy and five others.
02:39 According to the director of NBI Region 11,
02:42 Quibuloy is not in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ in Davao City
02:45 but the police obtained the warrant from the administrator there.
02:49 The religious leader is also not in his prayer mountain
02:52 in Barangay Tamayong and his resort in Samal Island
02:56 where he went earlier.
02:57 The warrant of arrest was not issued to other accused.
03:01 For now, three of them were brought to the custody of NBI
03:05 but the fine amounted to 80,000 pesos.
03:09 The warrant of arrest is for the child abuse case in 2011.
03:14 Aside from child abuse, the religious leader will also face sexual abuse.
03:19 Two more accused are still being searched.
03:23 The trust and performance ratings of the President and the Vice President
03:29 are falling based on the latest survey of Pulse Asia this March.
03:33 55% said that President Marcos' actions are approved
03:38 by his officials.
03:40 This is lower than 68% last December.
03:44 57% said that they have high trust in the President.
03:48 This is also lower than his 73% rating last December.
03:52 67% said that they are happy with the performance of Vice President Sara Duterte
03:59 from the previous 74%.
04:01 The trust rating of the Vice President is now 71%.
04:04 This is lower than 78% last December.
04:07 Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri's performance rating increased
04:10 by 52% from the previous 49%.
04:14 His trust rating also increased by 53% from 51% last December.
04:20 31% is the performance rating of House Speaker Martin Rumbaldes.

04:39 All out preparation by Sanya Lopez and Barbie Forteza
04:43 for their role as bodybuilder stars in the upcoming series, "Pulang Araw."
04:48 And one of their career downs is tap dancing.
04:53 Here's Nelson Canlas' check-in.
04:58 Literally sweating it out, Barbie Forteza and Sanya Lopez in their tap dancing training
05:04 for their search as pre-war entertainers in the upcoming family drama series, "Pulang Araw."
05:11 To bring bodybuilder realness, they need to learn this dance.
05:25 It's hard to coordinate footwork and hand and body movements
05:29 that are different from what they know of dancing.
05:32 It's hard to dance but the level of tap dancing is different
05:36 because it's basic but it's confusing.
05:40 And there's an incorporation of sound.
05:44 Unlike hip-hop where you can't hear your feet,
05:48 this one you should hear your footwork, your steps, everything.
05:53 So your coordination should be right.
05:57 Correct.
05:58 6, 7, and 8.
06:00 And while learning new stuff and unlearning old ways,
06:04 there are a lot of prohibitions in tap dancing.
06:06 Yes, they say you can't ballet.
06:09 You just don't know how to ballet so it's okay.
06:11 And the body gets stiff especially when you're on your feet.
06:16 When you do hip-hop, you're from hip-hop.
06:17 So we're prohibiting ourselves from going to the gym.
06:19 It's prohibited so you know.
06:21 We're just eating as much as we want to.
06:23 We really want to go to the gym but we're looking for a reason.
06:28 Tap dancing is just one of the things that the cast needs to learn.
06:39 Even though it's an important part of our war history,
06:43 they need to learn it.
06:45 It's a big challenge especially because they'll teach it again
06:49 and again and remind us of an important part of our history.
06:55 I think this goes to show how much we really respect the show.
07:00 Because with TV, you can always cheat.
07:05 We're working hard on this project.
07:08 We need to prepare a lot for this show
07:12 because it's not just for fun.
07:15 We also need to show our respect to the valuable stars before
07:21 and to the young people now.
07:24 That's important.
07:26 Nelson Canlas, updated on Showbiz Happenings.
07:30 The demolition of some parts of the PNR's real estate in Manila
07:35 for a longer railway project has already started.
07:38 Some people living nearby are worried that the project will be affected
07:41 and that they'll have to relocate.
07:43 Joseph Moro is on the scene.
07:45 The signage of the Philippine National Railway
07:50 in Blue Mandritus in Manila has been removed
07:52 as a symbol of the near future of the PNR's history.
07:56 Fencing and track recovery has also started
07:59 or the backlash of the railways
08:01 that will be part of the longer North-South Commuter Railway Project
08:04 or NSCR from Alabang to Clark.
08:07 Some big houses will be hit in the vastness of the barren land.
08:11 The residents here say that almost the entire barangay 349 of Manila will be demolished.
08:15 That's why Ms. Lourdes was just relieved
08:17 that 60 years have passed since she lived next to the railways.
08:21 This is so sad.
08:22 We came here and then we suddenly got demolished.
08:26 My children are working here.
08:29 Ms. Corazon, who is also an adult,
08:32 is also here and she's still holding the land in her hands.
08:34 Although there's no abyss or when they will be demolished,
08:37 the DOTR has already told them that they will be relocated to Cavite.
08:40 Don't go too far.
08:42 Yes, it's a flower.
08:43 You can.
08:44 Yes, it's close.
08:45 We really can't do anything.
08:47 We have a bad heart because we've been here for a long time.
08:50 The relocation work will start this April.
08:54 They have been informed.
08:55 The President and the Secretary's order,
08:59 if they were removed from Laguna, they should also be moved to Laguna.
09:04 If they were removed from Manila, they should also be moved to Manila.
09:07 According to the Transportation Department,
09:10 the preparations are being done so that the families who will be relocated will not have a hard time.
09:15 The subsidy for the payment of land or rental subsidies and allowance for the affected are included.
09:21 The Department of Transportation assured that the demolition of houses will not be done suddenly
09:26 and that it will only be done if the PNR needs the land for construction.
09:31 In the DOTR's letters to the affected local governments,
09:35 it said that the PNR is doing limited to demolishing the houses and the backhoes.
09:41 The residents will still be allowed to enter their areas.
09:45 For GMA Integrated News, Joseph Morong, for Tutok 24 Horas.
09:49 Who else is farming?
09:56 They are having a hard time getting food from their own fields, especially now that there's El Nino.
10:03 Some of their rice fields in Iloilo were plowed by the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
10:08 The communal irrigation system in Anilaw, Iloilo,
10:18 which is being used to irrigate the rice fields in the area,
10:23 has been almost extinct since December.
10:27 This place used to be filled with water.
10:31 The water used to flow through that wall.
10:34 But because of the El Nino, it's all gone.
10:37 It's all dry.
10:39 You can only see the wind.
10:41 That's why Ernie's farm is a waste.
10:45 We lost 90% or 100% of our rice because we couldn't get any of our products.
10:49 We couldn't get any of our rice bags.
10:52 There's no income.
10:53 Each kilo of rice has become more expensive, up to 60 pesos.
10:58 Because of the poor production of rice.
11:01 We don't have food for our children.
11:03 We have planted 52 million rice fields.
11:08 Mostly rice and a few vegetables.
11:12 Antica and Iloilo have experienced a lot of drought.
11:16 The so-called heat index is a bit high.
11:19 It means that the humidity is very high there.
11:23 With the addition of DOST, it's possible to experience heat in other parts of the country until May.
11:31 As a help, the GMA Capuso Foundation,
11:39 the Philippine Army,
11:41 and the farmers from Anilau and Banate in Iloilo,
11:47 have sent food packs.
11:49 We only have 6,000 individuals.
11:51 Thank you to GMA Capuso for coming here.
11:56 We also gave medicine and hygiene kits to their rural health unit.
12:01 For those who want to donate, you can deposit it in our bank accounts
12:05 or send it to Cebuana L'Ouvelier.
12:08 You can also do it online via GCash, Shopee, Lazada, and MetroBank Credit Card.
12:14 Some POGO workers from the scammed hubs in Tarlac are wanted for fraud and other crimes in China.
12:23 Salima Refran pointed that out.
12:25 These 6 POGO workers are separated and have additional security
12:32 from the scammed hubs in Bamban, Tarlac.
12:35 They were discovered to be Chinese fugitives
12:38 and there are warrant of arrest in China for fraud cases,
12:41 running of illegal goods, and other crimes.
12:45 Another fugitive from Taiwan was also separated from the authorities last week for internet fraud.
12:51 This is not the first time we have caught criminals hiding in POGO hubs.
12:58 They are not doing background verification on those who enter them.
13:06 The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission said that POGO may be targeting
13:11 those who have records for illegal activities.
13:15 Maybe they have criminal backgrounds and they are using them as enforcers
13:21 or those who are involved in torture, physical injuries, or even for extorting POGO workers.
13:30 The PAOC also talked to the PAGCORP about the restriction on the permit of POGO workers.
13:36 The authorities will remember the Zunyu-1 technology this March
13:41 for the allegations of illegal detention and torture of some POGO workers.
13:46 Zunyu-1 technology denied this in the past.
13:49 According to the PAOC, it was also discovered that various scams are running the company.
13:54 GMA Integrated News is also trying to get the Zunyu-1 technology until now.
13:59 The company's internet gaming license is now cancelled
14:02 and the government is preparing for a feature case for the 10-hectare compound.
14:08 The company is also waiting for the deportation order for the 282 foreigners
14:12 to be returned to their countries.
14:15 For GMA Integrated News, I'm Sanne Manafra.

14:39 the temperature reached 42 degrees celsius in Sangli Point, Cavite, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Zamboanga City and Cotabato City.
14:45 People are in danger level when it reached more than 42 degrees celsius because of a glaring flood in Calusugan.
14:53 According to the today heat index forecast, it is possible that the temperature will reach 42 to 43 degrees celsius in some provinces on Thursday.
15:01 The expected temperature will be 39 to 42 degrees celsius in Metro Manila.
15:04 The weather is hot and the chance of rain is low.
15:08 Most of the country is affected by the high pressure area, except for Bandang Hapon because of the heavy rains in Isabela, Quezon, Samar Provinces and some parts of Mindanao.
15:18 Based on the Metro weather, the possibility of rain in Metro Manila is low.
15:22 Meanwhile, last Thursday morning, the planetary alignment will be seen where Venus, Saturn and Mars are aligned.
15:32 It is visible even without instruments as long as the weather is clear and there is no cloud.
15:38 But if you have a telescope or high powered binoculars, you can also see Neptune.
