Vincent Kompany rues referee decisions

Vincent Kompany was once again left frustrated by the decisions of the match referee in the draw with Wolves at Turf Moor.

00:00 Of course, it was an issue.
00:02 You know, if you do a pirouette and you fall on your own,
00:06 and there's absolutely no contact made, then it's just not a foul.
00:12 Right. I think we can all agree on this.
00:14 And but then as well, the referee is in the best position ever.
00:19 So really good position.
00:21 He sees it.
00:22 I can see it from three times as far as he is.
00:26 And for some reason, there's a decision made again out of nothing.
00:30 And then I look at my own team and how we defend the said player.
00:34 That's always the case.
00:35 But yeah, it's a repeat.
00:40 And it doesn't make it any easier.
00:45 I think it started with the player that was after the second half.
00:49 Then the player hurt his foot.
00:51 So we all know the rules.
00:52 If he's holding his head, stop the game, concussion testing and everything else.
00:56 If he's holding his foot, play on most of the time.
00:59 You know, the player won't lose his life there and then
01:03 because something happened to his foot. Right.
01:05 That's why that rule is invented to stop time wasting.
01:08 Brilliant. But yet we're going to do something else.
01:11 And so then there's a penalty that exists for if the medical staff comes on.
01:17 There's 30 seconds that you get penalised.
01:18 So at least you're down to 10 men.
01:20 So again, to stop time wasting.
01:22 But he stops the game,
01:24 goes and attends to the player, wastes time anyway by just talking to him.
01:28 And then the player stays on the pitch.
01:31 Restart of the game with 11 players and nothing's happened.
01:34 And we're just stopped in our tracks.
01:36 So then rewind to the phase where we
01:40 concede the said play and
01:44 you'll note how calm I stayed, right?
01:48 And probably that's the way I should have expressed it last time against Chelsea.
01:53 There's absolutely no excuse for how I expressed it in that time.
01:56 But I just, you know, beg you to understand the frustration.
01:59 That's all. It's just too many times.
02:02 You know, if you know how many points this cost us this season,
02:04 we'd be, you know, you'd be writing praises beyond
02:10 if it hadn't happened that way.
02:12 But it's not supposed to always be easy either.
02:18 So that needs to be our strength as well.
