00:07 So I'm Sam Levi and the business is Smokey Sam's BBQ.
00:10 What's the process been like to get the venue open? Has it been quite stressful?
00:13 Has it taken a long time?
00:14 Yeah, there's a lot of work that goes into these things, you know, from designing the menus to trying to work out what people want to eat and pull everything together.
00:24 All in harmony together can be quite a lot.
00:27 Is it all ready to go?
00:29 Yeah, yeah, we're super excited.
00:31 What's on the menu? Do you want to go through it?
00:34 Yeah, so we're calling it a world-inspired barbecue.
00:37 So we've got things from your classic Texas barbecue all the way through to Asia, you know, Argentinian dishes.
00:44 Really wanted to keep it new, exciting all the time.
00:47 Constantly changing menus and stuff.
00:50 Is it going to be the same menu down at the Cozy Nook? And when is that opening?
00:54 So the Cozy Nook opens in about two weeks on the 28th of March and no, that's going to be like a beachside barbecue.
01:02 We make our own pastrami, so we're going to do a Reuben sandwich, crab rolls because my girlfriend, you know, has a lot of fond memories of being a kid eating crab rolls down there.
01:10 We're going to do wings down there, fries, stuff like that really.
01:13 After moving to the island, it was actually my favorite place to come and visit.
01:17 I'd spend quite a lot of time on my days off down here, just, you know, relaxing on the beach and stuff.
01:21 And we were actually in here one afternoon and ended up speaking to Ian and, you know, he offered us the residency in the kitchen here.
01:28 And I was just like, that's perfect.
01:31 So we'll be open Wednesday to Sunday, 12 till 9 p.m. at night.
01:36 9pm at night.
