00:00:00 [congregation applauding]
00:00:10 - Father, I thank you for this and of opportunity to minister
00:00:13 to these, your precious sheep.
00:00:16 Thank you, Lord, that revelation and knowledge will flow freely,
00:00:20 uninterrupted and unhindered by any satanic or demonic force.
00:00:24 Father, I pray that you will speak through my vocal cords and
00:00:29 think through my mind.
00:00:31 None of me and all of you, it's in Jesus' name we pray.
00:00:37 And everybody said.
00:00:39 - Amen.
00:00:40 - Amen.
00:00:41 Come on, give the Lord another big hand clap of praise.
00:00:43 [congregation applauding]
00:00:49 You may be seated.
00:00:52 And if you have your Bibles, go with me to the book of
00:00:55 Saint John chapter 19, verse 28 through 30.
00:01:05 Saint John chapter 19 and verse 28 through 30.
00:01:09 He says, "And after this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now
00:01:16 accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled,
00:01:22 he saith, 'I thirst.'
00:01:26 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar,
00:01:30 and they filled a sponge with vinegar and put it upon the
00:01:34 hyssop and put it to his mouth.
00:01:40 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar,
00:01:43 he said, 'It is finished.'
00:01:49 And he bowed his head, and he gave up the ghost."
00:01:54 This morning, I want to share with you from the subject of
00:02:03 believing the finished works of Christ,
00:02:07 believing the finished works of Christ.
00:02:11 My grandson said to me the other day, he says,
00:02:16 "What's going on with the body of Christ?
00:02:20 What's happening with the church?
00:02:22 Why are they not seeing some of the stuff they say?"
00:02:26 And my response to him was, "It's because the believers
00:02:31 are not believing."
00:02:34 This is the one thing God requested of us is that we would
00:02:38 believe, and we keep trying to add to that when he said,
00:02:45 "Believe."
00:02:46 And the Scripture says when they were trying to figure out how to
00:02:51 do all the works of miracles after they saw the multiplication
00:02:54 of the bread and the fish, and they said,
00:02:57 "We want to do these mighty works as well,"
00:03:00 and the response in one translation says,
00:03:03 "The only work I want you to do is to believe in the one that I
00:03:10 sent you."
00:03:12 How many believers do I have in the house this morning?
00:03:15 [applause]
00:03:16 Okay?
00:03:18 So, we want to deal with believing the finished works
00:03:24 of Christ.
00:03:27 The finished works of Christ refers primarily to his death on
00:03:34 the cross, what was finished on the cross.
00:03:37 There was something accomplished when we hear those three words,
00:03:40 "It is finished."
00:03:41 A lot of believers just really don't know what is it that was
00:03:43 finished, and then we begin to articulate religiously,
00:03:49 you know, our sins and eternal life,
00:03:52 and we say those things, but we really don't have a real good
00:03:55 revelation of what it is.
00:03:56 What is it that was finished?
00:03:58 What is it that we need to begin to believe?
00:04:01 Now, the cross, that's where the judgment of God against our sin
00:04:10 was endured by Christ, on that cross.
00:04:14 In fact, in the book of Saint John,
00:04:17 in the King James, if you'll turn there,
00:04:19 Saint John chapter 12, and verse 31 through 32,
00:04:23 there was something that was said here.
00:04:25 I don't know if a lot of people really got it,
00:04:28 but he says, "Now is the judgment of this world,"
00:04:32 colon, which means he's getting ready to follow
00:04:35 with a list of stuff.
00:04:36 Now is the judgment of this world.
00:04:38 The subject is judgment.
00:04:41 Now is the judgment of this world.
00:04:44 The subject is judgment.
00:04:46 "Now shall the prince of the world be cast out,
00:04:52 and I, if I be lifted up from the earth,
00:04:58 will draw all men unto me."
00:05:02 Now the word men in most of your Bibles is in italicized.
00:05:07 It's because it didn't appear in the original Greek transcript.
00:05:13 The subject is judgment, and when he said,
00:05:16 "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth,
00:05:19 I will draw all judgment unto me,"
00:05:24 or the referring to men's judgment, he said,
00:05:27 "When they put me on that cross, every man's judgment,
00:05:31 I will draw to me."
00:05:34 Everybody's judgment, I will draw to me.
00:05:37 You got to understand that was a gift.
00:05:39 We would all be destined for hell had he not got on that
00:05:45 cross and took on every sin and every sickness and every
00:05:51 judgment for every man that would come on the earth.
00:05:55 He says, "I will be the substitute,
00:05:59 and I will take all of their," excuse me, English,
00:06:01 "I'm going to take all their mess,
00:06:05 and I'm going to put it on my body."
00:06:08 He became our substitute in order to become our Savior.
00:06:14 He would have never been our Savior had he not become
00:06:16 our substitute.
00:06:19 And so, Jesus was not our Savior until he suffered and died for
00:06:25 our sins on the cross.
00:06:28 He was our Savior when he died and suffered on the cross.
00:06:34 We, ladies and gentlemen, have a Savior today.
00:06:40 How many believe you have a Savior today?
00:06:44 My God.
00:06:46 Three words describe the finished works of Christ.
00:06:55 Three words.
00:06:58 First word, propitiation.
00:07:03 Second word, redemption.
00:07:07 Third word, reconciliation.
00:07:12 Those are a lot of nice sounding big words.
00:07:16 Let's break it down because you need to know what happened on
00:07:21 that cross.
00:07:22 You need to know these words that describe the finished work
00:07:28 of Christ.
00:07:29 The first word, propitiation.
00:07:34 This word deals with the wrath of God.
00:07:38 It deals with the wrath that God had with man because of sin.
00:07:46 Now, in the old covenant, you see God as a judge.
00:07:52 Things happened to people because of his wrath against
00:07:56 sin, and men would die if they complained.
00:08:03 At one point, God said, "Don't even touch the bottom of the
00:08:05 mountain, you're going to die."
00:08:08 And then he says, "If you can't keep all of these commandments,
00:08:12 you're going to be cursed and you're going to die."
00:08:15 That was the father who was a judge.
00:08:20 Aren't you glad today we have a new covenant and we have God who
00:08:24 is a father and not a judge?
00:08:26 We have God who gives life and not cursing?
00:08:29 I am.
00:08:35 This word propitiation, it means to satisfy wrath by sacrifice.
00:08:42 Propitiation, it's the sin offering.
00:08:47 It means the compensation.
00:08:50 It means the payment.
00:08:53 Propitiation, it means the peace offering.
00:08:57 It literally means a ransom that was paid to satisfy this wrath.
00:09:05 My goodness.
00:09:07 Jesus was the propitiation.
00:09:12 He paid the ransom to satisfy the justice of God.
00:09:20 He paid the ransom so that you and I will no longer--I know
00:09:27 that's right, somebody got it.
00:09:29 Look at this in Romans chapter 6 and 23.
00:09:41 Something had to happen here.
00:09:42 In 6 and 23, he says, "The wages of sin is death."
00:09:47 That's what it was before Jesus died on the cross.
00:09:50 The justice of God was like this, if you sin, you die.
00:09:55 The way--and I don't think people realize in the Old
00:09:57 Testament, a lot of people died because God's a God of justice.
00:10:05 And he couldn't let you get away with this because it would put
00:10:08 his integrity and justice on the line.
00:10:12 He said, "The wages of sin is death," but because Jesus paid
00:10:18 the ransom, because he paid the compensation, because he was the
00:10:23 compensation, because he was the sin offering, we now have the
00:10:28 gift of God, which is eternal life, and we get that through
00:10:32 the Lord Jesus Christ, amen and amen and amen.
00:10:40 James chapter 1 and verse 15, flip over there real quick.
00:10:45 James 1, 15, and I want you to get this.
00:10:51 I want you to get this.
00:10:52 We didn't come here just to have a little Easter Bunny shout.
00:10:57 Nah-uh.
00:11:02 He says, "Then when lust hath conceived," here's how it was
00:11:07 before Jesus, "it brings forth sin, and then sin, when it is
00:11:11 finished, it brings forth death."
00:11:14 There it is.
00:11:15 There was just no other way.
00:11:16 That's how it worked until Jesus showed up in the picture.
00:11:22 Now, let's look at a couple of Scriptures before we go on.
00:11:24 Romans chapter 3 and verse 25, propitiation, the sin offering.
00:11:30 He's the ransom that was paid to satisfy this sin debt.
00:11:37 In Romans chapter 3, 25, he says, "Whom God has set forth
00:11:41 to be a propitiation through faith in his blood to declare
00:11:46 his righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed
00:11:51 through the forbearance of God."
00:11:54 There again, you see that Jesus was our propitiation.
00:11:59 And then in 1 John chapter 2 and verse 2, understand this.
00:12:05 Now, he says, "And he is the propitiation for our sin.
00:12:09 He is the compensation for our sins.
00:12:12 He is the ransom paid for our sins.
00:12:16 He is the peace offering for our sin."
00:12:18 Glory to God.
00:12:19 "And not for our sins only, but also for the sins of the whole
00:12:25 world, so any man that's born on this planet that decides to
00:12:29 accept and receive Jesus as Lord and personal Savior, his sins
00:12:34 have already been taken care of.
00:12:36 He is now becoming a beneficiary of the ransom that was paid to
00:12:41 set him free from sin."
00:12:44 My goodness.
00:12:47 1 John chapter 4 and verse 10, 1 John chapter 4 and verse 10,
00:12:55 herein is love.
00:12:57 Not that we love God, but that he loved us.
00:13:01 And what's this love?
00:13:02 "And he sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
00:13:07 He sent Jesus to be the sin offering.
00:13:11 He sent Jesus to be the peace offering.
00:13:13 He sent Jesus to be the compensation.
00:13:15 He sent Jesus to be--Jesus was the ransom.
00:13:19 Jesus didn't pay a ransom.
00:13:21 He was the ransom that was paid.
00:13:26 My gosh.
00:13:30 Jesus took humanity's sin upon himself, and he suffered the
00:13:36 righteous judgment of God.
00:13:40 And Jesus not only died to take away man's sin debt, but he
00:13:44 satisfied God's anger against sin, which means that God
00:13:51 doesn't have this wrath anymore against us.
00:13:56 Now that the ransom has been paid, glory be to God, and the
00:14:04 sin offering has been given, you need to understand something.
00:14:09 If this had not taken place, you would die and go to hell.
00:14:19 That's it.
00:14:20 I don't think we understand sometimes.
00:14:22 "Oh, yeah, right, right, right."
00:14:23 Yeah, that's fine until you die.
00:14:26 But you know when you're going to really appreciate this?
00:14:29 When you die.
00:14:31 And you don't go to a hell, and you don't deal with the wrath of
00:14:34 God, and you thank Jesus for being the ransom that's paid for
00:14:40 all of our sins.
00:14:42 I know it's kind of hard to figure out sometimes, but he
00:14:45 paid for your sin.
00:14:47 The sin meter was shut down when Jesus showed up as the
00:14:52 perpetuation.
00:14:53 There is no meter keeping up with your sins no more.
00:14:57 Glory be to God.
00:14:58 Nobody's reading the meter anymore because Jesus says, "I'm
00:15:02 going to take all of your mess upon myself."
00:15:05 That's the first word, and it dealt specifically with the
00:15:17 wrath of God, and Jesus satisfied that wrath.
00:15:21 Here's the second word, redemption.
00:15:25 Not only was he the ransom that was paid, but the redemption.
00:15:30 Now, redemption deals with our enslavement to sin.
00:15:37 We were enslaved into sin.
00:15:41 To redeem means to buy out of.
00:15:46 It means to remove from.
00:15:49 It literally means to buy out of and remove from the market in
00:15:57 order to sit at liberty.
00:16:00 See, there's no, your sin is no longer in the market.
00:16:06 Jesus showed up and bought the market out.
00:16:10 And anybody shows up and says, "Well, where is the sin?"
00:16:14 They say, "We apologize, but it's sold out."
00:16:17 Got it.
00:16:18 A man showed up and bought everybody's sin in the market,
00:16:23 and we no longer carry it any longer.
00:16:27 You don't hear me.
00:16:32 Now, in the context of salvation, redemption refers to
00:16:37 the work of Christ in setting us free from the bondage of sin,
00:16:43 slavery, and all of its awful consequences.
00:16:49 See, as people who were enslaved in sin, there was a consequence
00:16:55 for being in that slavery.
00:16:58 Look at Galatians chapter 3 and verse 13.
00:17:03 Galatians chapter 3 and verse 13.
00:17:07 He says, "Christ has redeemed us."
00:17:10 He has delivered us from the curse that comes from not being
00:17:19 able to keep the law.
00:17:20 The curse of the law was this, that under the law, if you could
00:17:26 not perfectly obey the law, there would be a curse, a
00:17:31 blessing if you could obey it, a curse if you could not obey it.
00:17:38 Well, the blood of Jesus did this.
00:17:42 He says, "I am here to deliver you from the curse of not being
00:17:48 able to keep all the law."
00:17:51 Y'all don't hear me.
00:17:54 "Yeah, and you may complain, but I brought you out.
00:17:57 You're not going to fall dead.
00:18:00 I am here to deliver you from the curse that comes without
00:18:05 being able to keep the law."
00:18:07 He says, "Being made a curse for us."
00:18:09 So, what did he do?
00:18:10 He said, "I'm going to, instead of you having to be cursed for
00:18:15 not being able to keep the law, I'm going to receive your curse
00:18:19 and then I'm going to keep every jot and tittle of the law.
00:18:24 You couldn't keep it all, but I can."
00:18:27 So, he says, "Step aside, little brother, little sister.
00:18:30 I'm getting ready to do what you could not do and I'm getting
00:18:33 ready to take what was due to you and I'm going to put it on
00:18:37 myself, yet I've never broken the law and yet I will keep
00:18:41 every bit of the law, but I'm showing up for you only.
00:18:44 I want you to know that I love you.
00:18:46 I want you to know that I'll be your Savior.
00:18:49 I want you to know that I'll set you free, and today,
00:18:52 no more curse."
00:18:54 [congregation applauding]
00:19:03 Ooh, Jesus.
00:19:05 Look at verse 4, same book, same chapter.
00:19:13 Well, well, Galatians 4, verse 5.
00:19:17 Galatians 4, verse 5.
00:19:18 I want you to see these Scriptures, but at the end of
00:19:21 this, it's all about, "Do you believe it?"
00:19:23 Verse 5 says, "To redeem them," he came here to redeem them that
00:19:30 were under the law, to redeem them that were under the law,
00:19:35 that we might receive the adoption of sons.
00:19:39 We're no longer servants, we're sons.
00:19:42 Under the old covenant, they were servants.
00:19:44 Under this new covenant, we're sons.
00:19:46 Ephesians chapter 1 and 7.
00:19:49 Yeah, taken the time to look at these.
00:19:52 You must be convinced that without Jesus, we're nothing.
00:19:56 You must be convinced that your righteousness is not
00:19:59 gonna be enough.
00:20:00 You're gonna have to be righteous with the
00:20:02 righteousness of Jesus Christ.
00:20:04 Jesus has got to be your righteousness.
00:20:07 Verse 7 says, "In whom we have," what?
00:20:10 "Redemption."
00:20:11 How did we get it?
00:20:12 "Through his blood."
00:20:13 We got the forgiveness of sins.
00:20:16 "According to the riches of his grace."
00:20:20 We have the forgiveness of sins according to the riches
00:20:25 of his grace.
00:20:27 Now, I know that there are a lot of messy things in the lives
00:20:31 that are represented here, but I wanna really encourage you.
00:20:36 God has forgiven you of your sins.
00:20:38 Watch this.
00:20:39 Now, this is the part that gets people.
00:20:42 He has forgiven you of your sins past, present, and future.
00:20:50 Now, you all believe that he forgave you of your sins in the
00:20:55 past, but your sins were in the past were in his future
00:20:59 when he did it.
00:21:01 Y'all don't hear me.
00:21:03 He forgave you of your past sins, but it was your future.
00:21:09 So, you know, people say, "Well, how he gonna forgive you of your
00:21:11 future sins?"
00:21:12 He already has.
00:21:14 In the past when he died on that cross and you were not even
00:21:18 thought about, you were not even formed into a fetus.
00:21:21 In the past when he did all of this for you, you hadn't even
00:21:24 born, so he took care of your future in the past, which means
00:21:30 in your present, and you got to believe that the only person
00:21:35 right now that keeps remembering your sin is you.
00:21:41 And right now, you got to believe that my sins
00:21:44 are forgiven.
00:21:45 Somebody says, "But you don't understand what I did on the way
00:21:47 here."
00:21:48 Your sins are forgiven.
00:21:50 The blood of Jesus is more powerful than your sin.
00:21:53 The grace of God is more powerful than your sin.
00:21:57 I'm talking church rejoice because his blood has taken care
00:22:02 of your sins past, present, and future.
00:22:05 My goodness.
00:22:12 First Peter chapter 1, verse 18 and 19.
00:22:16 This is in the book, and it's up to you to believe it.
00:22:22 Now, you can debate about it and play these weird games with it,
00:22:26 but regardless how you feel, this is how it is.
00:22:31 And if you believe it, your whole life changes.
00:22:34 But if you keep walking around wondering if you're going to go
00:22:37 to heaven, wondering if your sins have been forgiven,
00:22:40 you're creating and nourishing your sin consciousness.
00:22:45 And eventually, you'll get up in the morning and start asking God
00:22:48 to forgive you of the sin you hadn't committed yet.
00:22:53 That's sin consciousness.
00:22:56 He said here, "For as much as you know that you were not
00:22:59 redeemed with corruptible things," he didn't use no gold
00:23:04 to redeem us.
00:23:05 He didn't use silver to redeem us, and he didn't use dead
00:23:09 president money to redeem us.
00:23:11 He did not redeem us with corruptible things as silver and
00:23:15 gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your
00:23:20 fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ.
00:23:27 Like a lamb without blemish and without spot, he redeemed us.
00:23:33 So, he redeemed us with his blood.
00:23:38 I don't know nobody that will do that.
00:23:45 I don't think you have a friend like that that would--to lay
00:23:49 your life down before you even exist and to allow for his blood
00:23:55 to be shed.
00:23:58 Before he got to the cross, he was whipped with a cat
00:24:00 of nine tails.
00:24:03 They opened him up.
00:24:05 It wrapped around his body, pulling his flesh off.
00:24:12 Well, he didn't--he didn't even look like a man.
00:24:17 And like Pastor Carter said, he should have died at the beating
00:24:21 from blood loss.
00:24:23 But no man could take his life.
00:24:25 If he did not lay his life down, no man could take it.
00:24:36 There was nobody on the planet, nothing on the earth that could
00:24:40 take his life.
00:24:42 That was God wrapped up in flesh.
00:24:44 That was the Word that became flesh.
00:24:47 And unless he laid his life down, he would have never died.
00:24:52 He paid for your redemption with his blood.
00:25:01 And I don't want it to sound religious this morning, but he
00:25:04 sets you free by coming and bleeding for you.
00:25:08 And if it wasn't enough to be whipped with a cat of nine
00:25:11 tails, until every inch of his body--understand, his skin was
00:25:15 turned right side up.
00:25:17 You saw the inside on the outside.
00:25:21 And still had enough strength to carry a cross.
00:25:26 And then a black brother assisted him the rest of the
00:25:28 way up.
00:25:30 Then they took his hands and nailed the eight-inch spikes
00:25:37 in his hands.
00:25:40 They saw it after he resurrected when Thomas started doubting,
00:25:43 "I don't believe it's you."
00:25:44 And he looked at his hands.
00:25:45 He said, "Look at my hands, look at my feet."
00:25:48 And when he looked at his hands, he saw light coming through.
00:25:50 He could--it looked like a peephole on the door.
00:25:53 And then they nailed him to the cross, bloodshed, bloodshed,
00:26:01 bloodshed, because without the shedding of his blood,
00:26:06 there could be no removing of our sins.
00:26:11 But what can wash away our sins?
00:26:15 Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
00:26:18 What can make us whole again?
00:26:21 Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
00:26:24 My God, my goodness.
00:26:29 Are you understanding this, man?
00:26:40 In redemption, we have been bought back.
00:26:46 In redemption, we have been set free from the slave market
00:26:51 of sin.
00:26:53 And we have been placed in the family of God, and the ransom
00:26:58 price was not gold.
00:27:01 The ransom price was the precious blood of Jesus.
00:27:08 Look at Hebrews 9:22, Hebrews 9:22.
00:27:13 Is everybody still on the bus with me?
00:27:17 Propitiation, you understand that now.
00:27:21 Redemption, you understand that now.
00:27:23 Hebrews 9:22, "And almost all things are by the law purged
00:27:28 with blood, and without the shedding of blood,
00:27:34 there is no remission."
00:27:38 Here's the third word.
00:27:40 The third word that describes this finished work,
00:27:45 reconciliation.
00:27:47 Now, while propitiation deals with the wrath of God,
00:27:51 and redemption deals with our enslavement by sin,
00:27:56 reconciliation deals with our fellowship with God.
00:27:59 And I am here to tell you that you can fellowship with God,
00:28:03 and God wants to fellowship with you.
00:28:05 Being a Christian is more than knowing how to quote Scriptures
00:28:08 and wearing a Christian t-shirt.
00:28:10 Honey, God wants to fellowship with you.
00:28:12 God wants to get to know you.
00:28:14 God wants to direct you and talk with you.
00:28:17 God wants to set you up for your next promotion.
00:28:19 God wants to get you ready for your next attack.
00:28:22 God wants to show you how to get out of the trouble you're in.
00:28:25 God wants to show you how to have peace in the midst
00:28:28 of troubled time.
00:28:30 He wants to fellowship with you.
00:28:34 Reconcile means to...
00:28:38 This is awesome.
00:28:40 It means to change completely.
00:28:42 Now, in reference to our salvation,
00:28:47 reconciliation is the act by which God brings mankind into a
00:28:52 complete change relationship with Himself.
00:28:57 So now, God, through reconciliation,
00:29:00 is going to completely change the relationship from what it
00:29:04 was in the old covenant to what it is right now.
00:29:07 He's going to change the relationship from hostility and
00:29:11 alienation to harmony and fellowship.
00:29:16 At one time, it was hostile.
00:29:18 At one time, it was alienation between man and God.
00:29:21 But now, He wants to bring harmony,
00:29:23 and He wants to bring fellowship.
00:29:26 Look at these Scriptures.
00:29:27 Romans chapter 5 and 10.
00:29:30 Romans 5 and 10.
00:29:34 My goodness, my goodness.
00:29:36 Somebody tell you, "Happy Easter."
00:29:38 Tell 'em I want to talk to you about three words.
00:29:40 Verse 10 says, "For if when we were enemies," think of that.
00:29:45 We were.
00:29:50 We were.
00:29:51 You see people after they look at Moses' pictures, they say,
00:29:53 "Well, what kind of God is He that's going to let people
00:29:56 drown in the Red Sea?
00:29:57 What kind of God is He that the first person was going to die,
00:30:03 the firstborn is going to die when the death angel came in?
00:30:06 What kind of God would let that happen?"
00:30:08 A God that was true to His justice.
00:30:12 Because when Jesus died on the cross, He satisfied His justice
00:30:17 and His love was no longer going to be restricted.
00:30:20 He's going to love you past your mess.
00:30:22 Where you should have been judged,
00:30:26 He's going to love you past that because of the sacrifice
00:30:29 that Jesus made.
00:30:31 But in this reconciliation, He says, "For if when we were
00:30:34 enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son,
00:30:39 much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."
00:30:45 See, because of Jesus and what He did,
00:30:48 the restrictions have been taken off.
00:30:50 God can love us with no restrictions.
00:30:53 Now, I know somebody tell you, "Well, the reason why God didn't
00:30:55 bless you is because what you did."
00:30:57 That's a lie.
00:30:58 If what you did can stop God from being good to you,
00:31:02 then what you did is greater than God and ain't nothing
00:31:05 greater than God.
00:31:06 And God has chosen to show you grace in the midst of it.
00:31:10 God has chosen that there's nothing that you can do
00:31:14 to restrict His love.
00:31:15 There were restrictions before, but there are no restrictions
00:31:19 right now.
00:31:20 The gloves are off.
00:31:21 God says, "I'm going to run you over with my love.
00:31:24 I'm going to run you over with my blessings.
00:31:26 And just when you think you don't deserve something,
00:31:29 I'm going to show up.
00:31:30 And just when you think you deserve something bad,
00:31:32 I ain't going to let the bad happen to you.
00:31:34 I'm going to show you what grace is about.
00:31:36 I'm going to show you what mercy is about.
00:31:39 And you're going to know me as the God who will love you
00:31:41 past your junk."
00:31:43 And it is that love that's going to change you.
00:31:49 It's that love that's going to turn you.
00:31:51 The Bible says that the goodness of God will bring a man to
00:31:56 repent.
00:31:57 That word repent means to change your mind.
00:31:59 He says, "I'm going to get you to change your mind about me.
00:32:02 I'm going to get you to change your mind about the stuff you're
00:32:04 doing."
00:32:05 And that's why you need to stop trying to play the Holy Ghost,
00:32:08 trying to do only what God can do.
00:32:11 God know how to save your children.
00:32:13 God know how to save your spouse.
00:32:15 God know how to save your coworker.
00:32:18 Maybe all he wants you to do is water and plant.
00:32:22 But if you'll just water and plant and be a living epistle,
00:32:27 then God will come in and he'll bring the increase.
00:32:30 Quit judging somebody and beating them up.
00:32:33 Learn how to have some empathy.
00:32:35 Quit being arrogant and self-righteous where you're
00:32:38 looking at yourself like you don't understand why they act
00:32:41 like they act.
00:32:42 Glory to God, I don't care how they act.
00:32:45 God is like an eagle stirring in a nest.
00:32:48 He is working on them right now.
00:32:50 You may not know what God has done, but he's working.
00:32:53 He's giving them dreams.
00:32:54 He's giving them visions.
00:32:56 He keep putting people in their pathway.
00:32:59 They're on their way.
00:33:00 If you get out of the way, they're on the way because he is
00:33:04 a merciful God.
00:33:06 He's an outstanding God.
00:33:08 He's a God of reconciliation.
00:33:10 Shoot, I feel like preaching now, boy.
00:33:20 You talking about my God.
00:33:25 You talking about my God.
00:33:27 My God that came on the inside and my God that can change your
00:33:31 desire.
00:33:32 I'm telling you, God can get on the inside of you and rearrange
00:33:35 your furniture.
00:33:36 He'll take somebody you used to hate and fill your heart with a
00:33:40 lot of love from him.
00:33:42 He'll take somebody you used to despise and you'll end up doing
00:33:46 favor for them.
00:33:47 Don't tell me what God can't do.
00:33:50 Somebody, we need to just praise him right now.
00:33:58 We need to just praise him right now.
00:34:04 Ain't nobody like him.
00:34:12 Hey, hallelujah.
00:34:15 Ain't nobody like him.
00:34:17 He's worthy of the praise.
00:34:18 He's worthy of the shout, hallelujah.
00:34:21 He's worthy of everything that we got.
00:34:27 Can't nobody do you like Jesus.
00:34:29 Can't nobody heal you like Jesus.
00:34:32 Can't nobody give you peace like Jesus.
00:34:35 Can't nobody change lives like Jesus.
00:34:39 You better praise him while you can.
00:34:42 You better praise him while you can.
00:34:44 Hallelujah, you got an opportunity to praise him.
00:34:47 You better forget about who watching you and you better
00:34:50 praise the Lord because he's worthy to be praised.
00:34:57 Hallelujah.
00:35:01 My God, I tell you I'm excited about this resurrection morning.
00:35:07 Heal a la bachete.
00:35:18 Oh, Lord.
00:35:24 He's worthy.
00:35:27 Now, please excuse me.
00:35:29 Please excuse me for the hollering and the shouting,
00:35:35 but you just don't know.
00:35:40 You just don't know what God has done for me.
00:35:47 Hallelujah.
00:35:50 Hallelujah.
00:35:52 You don't know how he healed me and made me whole again.
00:35:58 You don't know how he saved me and rescued me out of a pit of
00:36:03 hell.
00:36:05 I was on my way to hell with no God on my side, but he showed up
00:36:11 as the propitiation, showed up as the redemption, and now he's
00:36:19 showing up as the reconciler.
00:36:23 I don't have the same relationship with him as I have
00:36:27 right now.
00:36:28 He has given me a totally new relationship.
00:36:32 When I wake up, he talks to me.
00:36:34 When I go throughout the day, he walks with me.
00:36:37 When I'm in trouble, he pulls me out.
00:36:40 When I don't have the means to do what he told me to do, he is
00:36:44 the supplier of all of my needs.
00:36:46 Excuse me while I shout.
00:36:49 Oh, hallelujah.
00:36:55 [speaking in tongues]
00:36:59 All right, all right.
00:37:00 Sit down. I got 24 minutes.
00:37:02 Sit down. You missed one more time.
00:37:03 Sit down. [speaking in tongues]
00:37:05 Thank you.
00:37:08 [speaking in tongues]
00:37:16 Sometimes you just need to shout that thing.
00:37:19 I'm trying to explain it, but sometimes, hey, sometimes you
00:37:22 just got to shout that thing.
00:37:28 I mean, I feel like hooping right now, but I need to finish,
00:37:35 but when I think about Jesus and all that he's done for me, when
00:37:42 I think about Jesus and how he set me free, when I think about
00:37:48 Jesus--I mean, some of you know what I'm talking about.
00:37:54 Some of you know that it wasn't the doctor that got you off your
00:38:09 sickbed, it wasn't the lawyer that got you out of your court
00:38:13 case, it was nobody but Jesus.
00:38:19 My, my, my.
00:38:27 I can't talk about him too long without exploding.
00:38:36 He's real.
00:38:42 He's not a piece of art hanging in an art gallery.
00:38:47 He's real.
00:38:51 Come on.
00:38:52 2 Corinthians chapter 5.
00:39:00 2 Corinthians chapter 5.
00:39:06 Y'all, excuse me, it must have been that Baptist service we had
00:39:09 this morning.
00:39:14 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 18 through 19 in the New Living
00:39:19 Translation.
00:39:22 I know, baby, I got you, I got you.
00:39:26 I got you.
00:39:27 You just thinking about how good God being to you.
00:39:29 I got it, I got it, I got it.
00:39:34 Some of y'all don't know yet, but you will.
00:39:37 Maybe you hadn't been delivered out of something significant,
00:39:40 but he gonna deliver you out of it.
00:39:43 You got too many witnesses in this church that can testify.
00:39:47 You got too many people in this church that can testify about the
00:39:51 goodness of the Lord.
00:39:57 Sometimes I try to articulate this in a professional way,
00:40:03 but the professional won't stay on me because when God gets on
00:40:09 you, when he just breathes on you a little bit and you know
00:40:13 you're not the same, you got to tell somebody,
00:40:18 you got to shout about it.
00:40:20 So, it'll happen.
00:40:22 Some of y'all gonna go to the bathroom at the job,
00:40:24 then be a fell out.
00:40:25 "What happened to Lucia?
00:40:27 She went to the bathroom, she in there praising the Lord.
00:40:29 Lord have mercy."
00:40:30 The tumor done left, the tumor ain't there no more.
00:40:32 Glory to God.
00:40:33 Thank you.
00:40:34 All right, 2 Corinthians 5, 18 through 20 NLT.
00:40:40 Now, see, we get in the Word, but you know, we know Jesus.
00:40:49 You talk about Jesus too much.
00:40:51 You know, I'm, you know, hey.
00:40:55 Well, I ain't going back to that church no more.
00:40:57 That's just a bunch of holy rollers.
00:40:59 I remember my friend, Andre Crouch, used to say,
00:41:04 he said, "They call us holy rollers and what they say is
00:41:08 true, but if they knew what we were rolling about,
00:41:14 they would be rolling too."
00:41:16 Oh, Jesus.
00:41:26 I feel running in my feet.
00:41:28 Oh, Lord.
00:41:32 I'm trying to finish this last word.
00:41:39 [speaking in tongues]
00:41:41 Thank you.
00:41:43 Yeah.
00:41:46 [bell ringing]
00:41:48 Yeah.
00:41:50 [cheering]
00:41:52 [music playing]
00:41:55 [cheering]
00:41:57 [music playing]
00:42:00 [cheering]
00:42:02 [music playing]
00:42:04 [cheering]
00:42:06 [music playing]
00:42:08 [cheering]
00:42:10 [music playing]
00:42:12 [cheering]
00:42:14 [music playing]
00:42:16 [cheering]
00:42:18 [music playing]
00:42:20 [cheering]
00:42:22 [music playing]
00:42:24 [cheering]
00:42:26 [music playing]
00:42:28 Come on, y'all.
00:42:30 You're gonna do it.
00:42:32 You're gonna do it.
00:42:34 Do it.
00:42:36 [music playing]
00:42:38 [cheering]
00:42:40 [music playing]
00:42:42 [cheering]
00:42:44 [music playing]
00:42:46 [cheering]
00:42:48 [music playing]
00:42:50 [cheering]
00:42:52 Celebrate.
00:42:54 [cheering]
00:42:56 Listen, let me say this.
00:42:58 The whole world celebrates all kinds of junk.
00:43:02 And we have a time where we can celebrate our Jesus.
00:43:06 Ain't nothing wrong with you clapping.
00:43:08 Ain't nothing wrong with you dancing.
00:43:10 Ain't nothing wrong with you turning around.
00:43:12 Ain't nothing wrong with you shouting.
00:43:14 If anybody ought to get to shout, it ought to be Jesus.
00:43:16 If anybody get to hand clap, it ought to be Jesus.
00:43:19 If anybody get to sound, it ought to be Jesus.
00:43:23 [music playing]
00:43:25 [cheering]
00:43:27 [music playing]
00:43:29 [cheering]
00:43:31 [music playing]
00:43:33 [cheering]
00:43:35 [music playing]
00:43:37 [cheering]
00:43:39 [cheering]
00:43:41 [cheering]
00:43:43 [cheering]
00:43:45 [cheering]
00:43:47 [cheering]
00:43:49 Okay.
00:43:51 2 Corinthians chapter 5, 18 through 20.
00:43:55 We're in the NLT.
00:43:57 [cheering]
00:44:00 Somebody like, "What kind--what is going on in that church?"
00:44:03 [cheering]
00:44:06 We teaching, we preaching, we praising, we dancing,
00:44:09 we shouting, we--we celebrating.
00:44:13 [cheering]
00:44:15 We celebrating Jesus.
00:44:17 [cheering]
00:44:20 Yeah.
00:44:22 [cheering]
00:44:24 Because this is a gift from God who brought us back to himself
00:44:31 through Christ.
00:44:33 And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
00:44:41 19, "For God was in Christ reconciling the world to
00:44:48 himself," no longer--no longer--no longer counting people's
00:44:53 sins against them.
00:44:55 Whoa.
00:44:57 No longer counting your sins against you.
00:45:01 Now, that don't mean you go out and act crazy.
00:45:05 What he's saying is, "I'm giving you a way out.
00:45:10 I'm not going to count your sins against you, but be careful your
00:45:14 sin don't come against you."
00:45:16 What that means is there's consequences for the things we
00:45:19 do.
00:45:21 He says, "I'm not going to count your sins.
00:45:23 I'm no longer counting your sins against you.
00:45:25 I've turned off the sin meter.
00:45:27 It's not counting your sins against you."
00:45:29 So, you ain't going to be able to die saying,
00:45:31 "Now, how many sins I got?"
00:45:33 They're going to say, "Zero."
00:45:34 You're going to think, "Well, I'm going to keep quiet 'cause I
00:45:37 don't know where--" That's zero according to his mercy and grace.
00:45:44 And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
00:45:50 He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
00:45:54 And look at verse 20, wonderful message of reconciliation.
00:45:58 Second Corinthians 20.
00:45:59 So, we are Christ's ambassadors.
00:46:01 We represent him.
00:46:02 God is making his appeal through us.
00:46:04 We speak for Christ when we plead, "Come back to God."
00:46:09 Find you two people today that left him and say,
00:46:17 "Come back to God."
00:46:20 That's our ministry.
00:46:22 We got to come back to God ministry and let people know.
00:46:27 Don't know what happened, but God is not going to let you down.
00:46:31 Colossians 1, 20 through 22 in the NLT.
00:46:37 Colossians 1, 20, 22.
00:46:39 Colossians 1, 20 through 22.
00:46:44 "And through him God reconciled everything to himself.
00:46:48 He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of
00:46:54 Christ's blood on the cross."
00:46:58 This includes you who were once far away from God.
00:47:01 You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts
00:47:06 and actions.
00:47:07 That was then.
00:47:09 A lot of guys want to preach that to you now,
00:47:11 and it brings shame and guilt.
00:47:13 "Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of
00:47:20 Christ in his physical body.
00:47:22 As a result, he has brought you into his own presence,
00:47:27 and you are holy."
00:47:30 Oh, my God.
00:47:32 He didn't say you act holy.
00:47:36 He says you are holy, and the day you believe you are holy,
00:47:39 then you'll start acting holy.
00:47:41 But you--he says you are holy.
00:47:43 Watch this.
00:47:44 "And you are blameless as you stand before him without a
00:47:50 single thought."
00:47:55 Now, in your head, you're thinking, "Now, wait a minute.
00:47:58 That's not me."
00:47:59 Oh, yes, it is.
00:48:00 He talking to you when you was messed up,
00:48:03 and he is saying, "Because of my blood,
00:48:07 I now make you holy."
00:48:10 Do you believe it?
00:48:12 "Because of my blood, I now make you blameless."
00:48:16 Do you believe it?
00:48:18 "Because of my blood, you now stand before me without a
00:48:23 single thought."
00:48:26 And that's what he is saying.
00:48:28 Can you believe that?
00:48:30 Because the day you believe that,
00:48:32 the day you believe in reconciliation is the day that
00:48:37 you start transforming your actions to line up with who he
00:48:43 said you are.
00:48:45 [congregation applauding]
00:48:51 Are you listening to me?
00:48:54 We are there to change completely.
00:49:00 And reconciliation, if you'll notice,
00:49:03 it's a one-way act of God.
00:49:06 It's made by God alone.
00:49:09 There is no mutual give and take,
00:49:13 as in the marriage of reconciliation.
00:49:15 Remember, God does not need to change his attitude or meet us
00:49:21 halfway.
00:49:23 He's not a guilty party.
00:49:26 He doesn't need to meet us halfway.
00:49:29 God didn't come and say, "Now, if you meet me halfway,
00:49:31 then I can reconcile."
00:49:33 No, God came up with this by himself,
00:49:37 and regardless of what you decide to do,
00:49:40 he decided to reconcile you.
00:49:44 We're not debating on who the guilty party.
00:49:46 We is the guilty party.
00:49:51 So, he decided to establish a completely new--a completely
00:50:02 new relationship.
00:50:06 Now, let me give you one warning,
00:50:11 and I'll be done.
00:50:12 The finished work of Christ is universal in that it covers the
00:50:17 whole world.
00:50:18 He came and said, "I did this for the whole world."
00:50:21 The death of Jesus was suffered enough to take care of all of
00:50:25 the whole world.
00:50:26 The finished works of Christ is only effective for those who
00:50:30 believe and those who put their trust in him.
00:50:33 It is only going to be effective for those of you who believe it
00:50:37 and those of you who put your trust in him.
00:50:39 And I know it's gonna be hard, right in the middle of some
00:50:41 stupid happening, and you're on your journey,
00:50:43 and you've been doing good, and God's been transforming you.
00:50:46 You got to believe that you're righteous even when you fall.
00:50:51 You got to fall down saying, "I'm still righteous."
00:50:53 You got to hit the ground saying, "I'm still righteous."
00:50:55 You got to get up saying, "I'm still righteous."
00:50:58 And then when that changes, you'll say, "Like I said,
00:51:00 I am the righteousness of God."
00:51:05 Now, here's the warning, 2 Peter chapter 2,
00:51:07 verse 1 through 3 in the New Living Translation.
00:51:10 Here's the warning, and this is going to take place--it's
00:51:14 already started.
00:51:16 It's a warning for us to look at and to listen to.
00:51:21 "But there were also false prophets in Israel,
00:51:24 just as there will be false teachers among you.
00:51:30 They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even
00:51:35 deny the Master who bought them.
00:51:42 In this way, they will bring sudden destruction
00:51:45 on themselves.
00:51:48 Many will follow their evil teachings."
00:51:51 Isn't that something?
00:51:53 "They will follow their evil teaching
00:51:55 and shameful immorality.
00:51:59 And because of these teachers, the way of truth
00:52:03 will be slandered."
00:52:06 I am saying you're the righteousness of God.
00:52:09 Somebody's going to teach you whether you got to do right
00:52:11 or you ain't going to be right, and that can't work because even
00:52:14 in the Old Testament, he says righteousness in the Old
00:52:17 Covenant is as a filthy rag.
00:52:24 "In their greed, they will make up clever lies
00:52:28 to get ahold of your money."
00:52:34 Tell you that a curse going to come on you if you don't give
00:52:39 20 dollars right now.
00:52:44 Put pressure on you to give.
00:52:47 Tell lies to get you to give.
00:52:51 But God condemned them a long time ago,
00:52:59 and their destruction will not be delayed.
00:53:06 You need to make sure you really know God,
00:53:11 because if you don't really know God in the time of social media
00:53:14 and stuff, you might get hooked by a false teacher.
00:53:21 You're not reading the Bible.
00:53:23 The Bible is one of the protections,
00:53:29 and they're just saying nice stuff,
00:53:31 and you're just listening to them and writing down,
00:53:33 "Ooh, that was good.
00:53:34 But ooh, ain't even in the Bible."
00:53:41 And all of a sudden, you start adapting to this way of thinking
00:53:45 that doesn't line up with the Word of God and the Word of
00:53:49 grace, or you get ahold of a teacher that mixes the old
00:53:53 with the new.
00:53:56 A little bit of the law and a little bit of grace,
00:53:59 a little bit of before the cross,
00:54:02 and a little bit of after the cross.
00:54:05 And logically, you'll think that's okay,
00:54:09 but Jesus made it very clear.
00:54:12 You cannot put new wine in old wine,
00:54:16 or you'll lose the benefit of both of them.
00:54:21 In other words, he's saying you can't live by mixtures.
00:54:26 You're going to have to either believe this or not believe it
00:54:32 because we're there.
00:54:34 The time has come.
00:54:37 All creation has been waiting for the manifestations
00:54:41 of the Son of God.
00:54:43 I didn't mind us partying for a little bit there,
00:54:48 shouting, screaming, jumping, hollering, all of us,
00:54:51 'cause I knew I was going to calm you down
00:54:53 and I knew you were going to hear.
00:54:58 That shouting, that's extracurricular.
00:55:00 That's like PE when you was in school.
00:55:02 That'd be--church ought not just be PE.
00:55:07 Amen?
00:55:22 Amazing.
00:55:26 First Corinthians 15, 17 through 19 says,
00:55:29 "If Christ is not raised, our faith is in vain.
00:55:32 It is worthless.
00:55:34 Everything we stand on is based on him being raised
00:55:37 from the dead."
00:55:39 He prophesied, "Destroy this church, and in three days,
00:55:42 I'll raise it up again."
00:55:43 They thought he was talking about the building.
00:55:45 He was prophesying about him.
00:55:47 If Christ was not raised from the dead,
00:55:49 this whole thing's a sham.
00:55:52 Christ was raised from the dead, and a lot of you,
00:55:57 along with me and Taffi, believe that Christ was raised
00:56:00 from the dead.
00:56:02 The resurrection affirms the truthfulness of God.
00:56:06 The resurrection proves that he is the Son of God.
00:56:11 It proves Jesus was the sinless sacrifice,
00:56:15 which satisfied the Father's wrath.
00:56:20 And this resurrection is giving us a living hope.
00:56:26 Our Jesus was raised from the dead,
00:56:29 and he is alive today.
00:56:42 I ain't got nothing else to say.
00:56:45 You get anything out of that?
00:56:48 Every head bowed, every eye closed,
00:56:53 if you can hold your walk in, please, ma'am, please, sir.
00:56:57 Father, in celebration of the Word that was made flesh,
00:57:05 the Word that dwelt amongst men, and had Jesus not come,
00:57:10 you just still would not have any idea what you're like.
00:57:17 But Jesus showed up, and we have an idea of what you're like.
00:57:20 Jesus said, "If you have seen me, you've seen the Father."
00:57:25 And today, we are so grateful and honored to celebrate
00:57:31 your masterpiece work and your Son, Jesus Christ.
00:57:38 I pray, Lord, that the Spirit of God now will begin to minister
00:57:43 to people, and that you'll bring 'em out of darkness
00:57:47 into the marvelous light.
00:57:50 That while I was teaching, Lord, the Holy Spirit was speaking
00:57:54 and teaching and saying things that wasn't even coming
00:57:56 out of my mouth.
00:57:59 That today, we declare our dependence upon you.
00:58:02 Today, we declare our trust.
00:58:04 We trust you.
00:58:07 And for the rest of this year, Lord, we lean on you to be
00:58:11 our guide and our helper, our strengthener.
00:58:15 Show us the way.
00:58:17 Sometimes we think we know the way.
00:58:19 Your Word said, "There's a way that seemeth right unto a man,
00:58:23 but the end thereof is death."
00:58:27 We don't wanna go by the way that seems right.
00:58:29 We wanna go by the way that is right.
00:58:31 Help us to hear you with clarity, that we may follow you,
00:58:37 that we may understand that our relationship with you happens
00:58:43 every day that we wake up and begin to live.
00:58:48 And in our living, we discover you more and more.
00:58:51 And through our tribulations, and you bring us out,
00:58:54 we get a deeper and deeper revelation of who you are.
00:59:00 That we're not just gonna put you in just a closet
00:59:03 for just an hour, but we need you to walk with us every day
00:59:10 and to put us to sleep every night and to wake us up
00:59:13 and do it all over again as we grow strong to know who you are.
00:59:20 Let your anointing be on these families.
00:59:25 Touch with your healing power.
00:59:29 Change their minds through your goodness
00:59:33 and your grace is my prayer.
00:59:38 Now, Lord, let us understand that you loved us so much
00:59:47 that you gave your Son for us.
00:59:52 Let us not be afraid of being a giver.
00:59:56 Let us understand that we believe that you will care for us,
01:00:01 therefore, we can be a giver with ease,
01:00:04 that we're not gonna be somebody afraid to give
01:00:06 because we're afraid that you won't care for us.
01:00:11 Speak to our hearts on what you'd have us to sow.
01:00:17 Let us shine in the opportunities that we have
01:00:24 to bring glory to you.
01:00:27 Your Word says to give glory unto the Lord.
01:00:34 Give glory that's due unto you.
01:00:38 And you finished and said, "Bring an offering and worship him
01:00:42 in the beauty of his holiness."
01:00:47 That we don't give out of pressure.
01:00:51 We don't give out of any of those things.
01:00:58 We don't give out of necessity.
01:01:00 We give out of a cheerful heart because we want to.
01:01:06 Oh, God, bless us.
01:01:09 Whatever's happened thus far this year,
01:01:11 we still trust you no matter what.
01:01:17 Speak to us on what you would have us to do
01:01:20 as you speak to us on what you would have us to do
01:01:23 in any area of our lives.
01:01:24 We submit ourselves to you now.
01:01:27 In Jesus' name, amen.
01:01:31 If you need an offering envelope, raise your hands.
01:01:33 The ushers will be more than happy to get it into your hands.
01:01:40 I certainly enjoyed today, I tell you.
01:01:45 Amen.
01:01:50 Thank God.
01:01:52 God is so good.
01:01:57 We had a sunrise service, and the sun was coming up
01:01:59 while we were having the service, amen?
01:02:05 As you give, I want you to give in joy.
01:02:10 In fact, if you can't give because you want to give,
01:02:13 you shouldn't give.
01:02:15 You got to learn how to give out of a heart that wants to
01:02:19 and not out of this duty or obligation.
01:02:27 And as we sow this morning, we do it in gratitude
01:02:33 and thanksgiving for who God is.
01:02:39 Now, while you're sitting, I'm gonna have an altar call
01:02:43 for those who are not born again.
01:02:46 Today, you can make that happen.
01:02:48 I mean, who would turn down what you just heard?
01:02:53 Maybe you got born again at one time,
01:02:55 but I don't know, something happened,
01:02:59 and you want to reconnect.
01:03:03 Maybe God's calling you to join this church because you feel
01:03:07 this is the brook where he's called you to in your family.
01:03:11 We'd love to pastor you, but there's one thing we're sure
01:03:16 about, you have to make that decision.
01:03:19 Nobody can make it for you.
01:03:20 You are a free moral agent, and unless you make that decision,
01:03:23 there's just--nothing won't happen.
01:03:25 Decision is a open door into reality,
01:03:29 and you've got to decide.
01:03:32 Hold your offerings up right now.
01:03:34 Father, it gives us honor to be able to give glory to you,
01:03:39 to bring an offering in worship to you,
01:03:42 and thank you for your promise of taking care of us.
01:03:46 We believe that you will and that you have
01:03:50 and that you will continue to do so.
01:03:52 We sow this seed out of a cheerful heart and out of love,
01:03:57 and we thank you for the opportunity to get to give.
01:04:01 We don't got to give. We get to.
01:04:04 And we praise you for that opportunity in Jesus' name.
01:04:07 Amen.
01:04:09 Let's just go ahead and receive the offering.
01:04:13 And now, for those of you who are here
01:04:16 and you're not born again, you've never made Jesus
01:04:20 the Lord of your life.
01:04:22 People don't go to hell for how they behave.
01:04:24 They go to hell for rejecting Jesus,
01:04:26 for not accepting the ransom that was paid.
01:04:31 But you have an opportunity to overcome all of that.
01:04:36 So, if you're here and you're not saved,
01:04:38 but you want to be saved, you want to be born again,
01:04:42 you're going to have an opportunity
01:04:44 to come to this altar.
01:04:46 If you're here and you say, "You know, I got saved
01:04:49 "when I was eight, but I don't know what happened
01:04:53 "in that relationship," let's get it renewed in a sense,
01:04:58 you know, just for your mental thinking.
01:05:03 And if God's calling you to join this church
01:05:07 or receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit,
01:05:10 you can do so.
01:05:12 So, at this time, you can come to the altar right now
01:05:16 for any of those things.
01:05:19 Come to Jesus.
01:05:23 Come to Jesus.
01:05:27 Oh, praise the Lord.
01:05:31 Give your life to him.
01:05:33 Turn yourself over to him.
01:05:36 Come on, come on, come on.
01:05:46 [applause]
01:05:49 You know, Jesus, you're the center of my life.
01:06:06 God send you.
01:06:08 Jesus, you're the center of my life.
01:06:13 Come on, come on.
01:06:17 Come on, we'll wait for you.
01:06:19 If you're coming from the balcony, come on down.
01:06:21 We'll wait for you.
01:06:25 You're never gonna be the same again.
01:06:27 Jesus, you're the center of my joy.
01:06:34 Come on.
01:06:38 All that's good and perfect comes from you.
01:06:44 You're the heart of my contentment,
01:06:53 hope for all I do.
01:06:58 Jesus, you're the center of my joy.
01:07:06 Jesus, you're the center of my joy.
01:07:15 All that's good and perfect comes from you.
01:07:23 You're the heart of my contentment,
01:07:31 hope for all I do.
01:07:36 Jesus, you're the center of my joy.
01:07:45 Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:07:55 Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:08:05 Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:08:15 Jesus, Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:08:24 You are the center of my joy.
01:08:30 Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:08:39 Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:08:48 Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:08:58 Jesus, you are the center of my joy.
01:09:08 Jesus, you're the center of my joy.
01:09:14 Amen.
01:09:15 Come on, church.
01:09:16 Let's give the Lord a big hand clap for those who've come down.
01:09:20 Praise the Lord.
01:09:26 Those of you who want to join the eChurch,
01:09:28 the information is on your screen.
01:09:30 You can go ahead and follow those instructions,
01:09:32 and we welcome you in Jesus' name.
01:09:34 Father, we thank you for those who've come to this altar,
01:09:36 this place of transformation, and I thank you, Lord,
01:09:40 that their lives will never be the same again.
01:09:44 We honor you, we praise you, and thank you for all the good
01:09:49 that you're gonna do through them.
01:09:51 We bless you in Jesus' name, and everybody say it, amen.
01:09:55 Those of you who've come to the altar,
01:09:57 if you'll turn this way, follow this gentleman
01:09:59 to the prayer room.
01:10:00 They're gonna take you and minister to you.
01:10:02 Make sure you get everything you came down here to receive,
01:10:05 and we thank God that you will never be the same again,
01:10:09 never, ever, ever.
01:10:11 Don't you appreciate everyone that came to the altar this--amen.
01:10:15 [applause]
01:10:19 Thank y'all so much for coming and celebrating with us.
01:10:22 Would you please stand for the final blessing and dismissal?
01:10:28 Something good's gonna happen to you today.
01:10:32 Why don't you say that?
01:10:33 Say, "Something good gonna happen to me today."
01:10:37 Say it again, "Something good's gonna happen to me today."
01:10:42 And now unto the Spirit of grace we declare
01:10:46 that God's grace and mercy will be over your life
01:10:51 and that the commandments that have been given to the angels
01:10:54 to watch over you, lest you dash your foot against a stone,
01:10:59 that I declare divine protection over your life.
01:11:03 I declare divine wisdom invade your life,
01:11:08 that you will know what to do when you don't know what to do.
01:11:13 I pray divine healing invade your life,
01:11:18 and may God honor you with amazing promotion
01:11:23 and open doors coming your way.
01:11:26 May the blessings of God run you over
01:11:31 and change your mind.
01:11:34 And now unto him who is able to keep you from falling
01:11:39 and to present you faultless before the Almighty God,
01:11:43 be glory, majesty, dominion, and power,
01:11:48 both now and forever.
01:11:51 And everybody said amen.
01:11:53 God bless you. Have an amazing day today.
01:11:56 [applause]
01:11:59 Happy Easter, world changers!
01:12:02 Happy Vapor Richard Sunday, E-Church family!
01:12:05 I hope you're feeling the love online.
01:12:07 Whoa!
01:12:08 'Cause we feel it here.
01:12:09 Whoa!
01:12:10 'Cause we feel it here.
01:12:11 It's in the atmosphere.
01:12:12 It is definitely in the atmosphere.
01:12:14 Today was amazing.
01:12:15 It's from start to finish.
01:12:16 Start to finish.
01:12:17 Start to finish.
01:12:18 What did you get out of service today?
01:12:19 So for me, and right now I know I'm gonna say what I got,
01:12:21 but please put something in the chat.
01:12:23 I always tell you all, somebody may hop online late,
01:12:25 and what you got may absolutely change their life.
01:12:27 For sure.
01:12:28 What I got is, first of all,
01:12:29 I love how our pastor will break something down.
01:12:32 Yeah.
01:12:33 You hear me?
01:12:34 Yeah.
01:12:35 So when he gave like the three definitions for,
01:12:36 he was doing perpetuation, reconciliation, and redemption,
01:12:39 that's out of order, but those are the three.
01:12:41 The first one that resonated with me was perpetuation.
01:12:44 Yeah.
01:12:45 And how he was given it and explaining how Jesus
01:12:47 literally paid the ransom.
01:12:48 And I literally turned to grace during service,
01:12:50 and I was like, oh my God, if Jesus paid the ransom,
01:12:54 then who was the kidnapper?
01:12:55 And immediately the Holy Spirit was like,
01:12:57 the enemy, death, anything that comes to rob your peace.
01:13:01 So anything that presents itself to me in the physical,
01:13:04 in the natural, Jesus has paid the ransom for it.
01:13:07 So I immediately am empowered to be like,
01:13:10 I ain't going for none of that.
01:13:11 Okay.
01:13:12 I ain't going for none of that.
01:13:13 What you get, Grace?
01:13:14 It ain't for me, and it ain't for you either.
01:13:15 It ain't.
01:13:16 Let me tell you something.
01:13:17 I think just coming into Resurrection Sunday,
01:13:20 I was full, full of emotion knowing that Jesus died for me.
01:13:26 Like I know he died for all of us.
01:13:29 Make it personal.
01:13:30 But you did it for me.
01:13:32 Yeah.
01:13:33 And I wasn't there to prove to you why you needed to die for me,
01:13:37 why you needed to save my sin.
01:13:38 You did that with me already on your mind.
01:13:42 You didn't have to advocate for yourself.
01:13:43 Not at all.
01:13:44 You didn't have to say, please die for me.
01:13:45 Not at all.
01:13:46 And just all the things that he went through,
01:13:49 because we hear it all the time, Jesus died on the cross.
01:13:51 Jesus went through some things.
01:13:54 And how Pastor Dollar said, he was beat up, beat down.
01:13:59 Disfigured.
01:14:00 And still had the strength to lift that cross up and carry it
01:14:03 and still get on the cross and die for me.
01:14:06 That just blesses me.
01:14:08 It fills me up with so much just joy and appreciation.
01:14:12 And I'm really, really grateful to God because, I don't know,
01:14:16 because God loves me.
01:14:18 I love God.
01:14:19 That's it.
01:14:20 That's all I got.
01:14:21 And you know what that joy is getting ready to transfer over to one of our
01:14:24 favorite parts of service, okay, it's giving.
01:14:28 If you're new here, we love to give.
01:14:30 We don't give because we feel we're going to be cursed if we don't.
01:14:34 We don't give because, you know, of some other reason,
01:14:37 other for the simple fact is that we enjoy giving.
01:14:39 So right now on your screen, something's going to pop up,
01:14:41 but I want to share with you a scripture.
01:14:43 And typically I start a little later, but I'm only going to give you two verses.
01:14:47 And this is what Paul says, and he talks about our enthusiasm.
01:14:50 So it says in 2 Corinthians 9, chapter 9, excuse me,
01:14:55 verse 1 and 2, Paul says,
01:14:57 "I really don't need to write to you about the ministry of giving for the
01:15:00 believers in Jerusalem, for I know how eager you are to help.
01:15:04 And I have been boasting to the churches in Macedonia that you in Greece were
01:15:09 ready to send an offering a year ago."
01:15:12 Paul is already talking about giving for believers who were giving a year
01:15:15 before they needed to give.
01:15:17 And know we're excited to do it.
01:15:18 Yeah, yeah.
01:15:19 And then it ends in saying,
01:15:20 "In fact, it was your enthusiasm that stirred up many of the Macedonian
01:15:24 believers to begin giving."
01:15:26 We give out of that same enthusiasm.
01:15:28 We give out of that same cheer and honor to God.
01:15:31 So how can they give, Grace?
01:15:32 So y'all already know.
01:15:34 Y'all come in over and over again.
01:15:36 Y'all tap in over and over again.
01:15:38 First way to give is by text.
01:15:40 You can text "worldchangers," leave a space and add your amount,
01:15:44 and text it to 74483.
01:15:46 You can call us at 866-477-7683.
01:15:51 You can send it by mail, 2500 Burdett Road, College Park, Georgia, 30349.
01:15:57 And you can also give online at worldchangers.org or
01:16:01 creflodollarministries.org.
01:16:05 You know what we say every week, get it in the ground.
01:16:07 Get it in the ground.
01:16:08 All right, what's going on in the World Changers Nation?
01:16:10 World Changers Nation is telling all men, fellas,
01:16:13 where you at, put something in the chat for me.
01:16:15 Put a muscle in the chat.
01:16:16 Right.
01:16:17 Put a muscle in the chat.
01:16:18 [laughter]
01:16:19 Right now we're actually getting ready and preparing for you.

01:16:36 So please register, and you're going to register by texting
01:16:39 "Men's Fellowship" all together.
01:16:41 And you all know our unified code is 51555.
01:16:45 So text "Men's Fellowship" to 51555,
01:16:48 and you're going to be discussing how to be delivered from your
01:16:51 default settings and receive the tools you need.
01:16:54 Yeah, I love that.
01:16:55 The tools that you need.

01:20:40 rolled that stone away for Jesus roll all the stones away in your life.
01:20:43 Whatever your stone is, go into this week knowing that your God lives, he rolled,
