Goat encounter experience at Buttercups Sanctuary for Goats

00:00 So my name is Ben, I'm the head of Hoofstock here at Buttercup Sanctuary of Goats.

00:03 We started, we did the first few of them sort of back end of last year, so October time.

00:08 This will be the first year we're really sort of pushing them hard.

00:10 They are essentially an opportunity to get up close and personal with a goat for an hour,

00:15 so you get the opportunity to groom whichever goat you're walking.

00:19 The staff member in charge on that day will give you their kind of backstory

00:23 and how they came to be with us and a bit about their personality and what they're like.

00:28 You'll then get the opportunity to walk around some of our parkland and let them grazing and

00:32 along the way we'll tell you sort of as much goat information as you're willing to take in basically.

00:37 Obviously I'm not asking any questions on the way.

00:40 Once you've had a nice stretch of the legs we let them go.

00:44 You get a complimentary bag of goat food and get to go feed some of the goats out in our field.
