03:44 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
03:46 After that, yeah.
03:47 You even won the Urian, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
03:49 Yes.
03:50 Best supporting actress.
03:51 After That's Entertainment, I remember
03:53 I auditioned for Reina Films.
03:56 I was in front of Tita Mids, and I auditioned for the part
04:02 in San Camanaro Ron in front of her in her living room.
04:05 And right there, and then she cried when I did the scene,
04:09 and she said, you got the part.
04:11 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:12 I can see the dynamics.
04:13 I mean, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:16 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:18 I'm the more serious type.
04:20 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:20 Sometimes she'll say something, I'm like, Bonnie.

05:16 -She took care of us because she's like our breadwinner.
05:22 Really taking care of mama, papa, me, me also when I got pregnant early.
05:27 She really went through a lot in life then.
05:31 She was more caring. "Finish your studies and move here."
05:35 I've been through that before.
05:37 This is Semana Santa. What do you remember about your Holy Weeks?
05:41 I remember when we were young, we would go to different churches.
05:45 When we were young, we would go to different churches.
05:49 She was still young, so she'd be running around.
05:54 When mama would pinch her, she'd run.
05:57 She had to pray every time.
06:00 That's how it was for Holy Week. But it was fun.
06:04 Bonding with family, I think, usually in prayer.
06:07 We'll have to do fast talk.
06:09 We'll have to do fast talk.
06:13 I think we have about two minutes to do this.
06:17 Our time begins now. -Who's first? Me?
06:20 I'll ask. Charmaine, cat or dog?
06:24 Cat.
06:26 Vet or vet?
06:29 Vet. -Charmaine, before or now?
06:32 Now. -Milagro or milagros?
06:35 Milagros. -Charmaine, who made you the most happy?
06:43 Richard Gomez. -Charmaine, who made you the most happy?
06:47 It's a secret. -Okay.
06:50 One thing you wish you still have?
06:54 I still have everything. -I think so too.
06:58 One thing you're proud to let go?
07:01 My fears, I think. -Highlight of your acting career?
07:05 When I won an award for Santa Manoron.
07:09 Bunny, body or bunny?
07:13 Bunny. -Good or skilled?
07:16 Skilled. -Philippines or America?
07:19 Both. -Stay at home or stay in love?
07:24 Stay at home.
07:29 Both. -Bunny, the most annoying thing you did as a teenager?
07:34 Oh, gosh. -Too many to mention.
07:37 I'm sure there's a lot. -The most annoying thing you did as an actress?
07:42 I can't think of anything. -Bunny, the thing you miss the most in Showbiz?
07:47 I think just being acting again. -Showbiz ex that you're still friends with?
07:52 Oh, shoot.
07:56 That's kind of hard to answer. -Okay.
08:00 I'm thinking of a lot of things. -Bunny, what do you think of Benji Paras?
08:05 They'll think I'm just saying it, but I really don't have one.
08:09 I'm just his ex. -Sorry.
08:13 If you could win a lottery, how much would you win?
08:17 Oh, a lot. A billion. -Both.
08:21 Who's the most beautiful? -Me.
08:25 Who's the most conservative? -Me.
08:30 Who's the most fragile? -Her.
08:34 Who's the richest? -Her.
08:37 I said me! -No, you.
08:41 Is that lights on or lights off? -Lights off.
08:46 Is that happiness or chocolates? -Chocolates.
08:51 Chocolates is happiness. -Best time for happiness?
08:56 I can't think of an answer. -I think that's it.
09:02 Anytime. -One thing
09:06 that you're thankful for?
09:10 A lot. -Too many to mention?
09:14 Not just one. If you were to say thank you, Bunny, what would that be for?
09:18 Thank you for...
09:22 Thank you for being naughty? No. Thank you for all the times that you were there for me.
09:26 Especially when I needed you. You're always there.
09:30 Thank you, Ate, for
09:34 being there for me, especially during the hard times in my life.
09:38 And even though we're far apart,
09:42 at least I have an Ate that I love. -You'll cry.
09:46 Cheska said, "You should cry."
09:50 I love you and I know that you've been through a lot in life.
09:54 We, in our family, but you know,
09:58 I appreciate that you're there. -What kind of mothers are you?
10:02 And what is your relationship with God like today?
10:07 The answers will be back in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
10:12 Back here on the show, Chermaine Bunny,
10:18 what kind of mothers are you?
10:22 I think I would say
10:26 we are focused parents when it comes to
10:29 the growth of our kids. -You have four.
10:33 Yeah, I have four. And my husband is very
10:37 hands-on with my kids when it comes to sports, what they learn,
10:41 and the values that we instill. And the things that we didn't get when we were little.
10:46 I wish that my kids would experience
10:50 what we're experiencing now. I'm just saying, you're lucky.
10:54 My kids, you're able to do the activities that you like.
10:58 Even music lessons is such a blessing.
11:02 I wish you piano, that kind of thing.
11:05 You know, playing the sport that you love. Or just developing our kids
11:09 to become better people and just ready for the world
11:13 and ready to compete with others also
11:17 in their field, where they excel.
11:21 I'm a, how do you say? I think I'm a very dedicated mother.
11:26 I devoted my life also serving my children,
11:30 cooking for them, driving them to school.
11:33 We're scared, well, me and my husband were scared to just leave them with the driver
11:37 or with the yaya. So, like us, Jelly and Ariel.
11:41 They were like that before. I remember I would shoot with them
11:45 and one of them won't work. I learned from the kids.
11:49 That's how we are with my kids.
11:52 So, I'm also active with the sports of my children.
11:57 And I think that they're so blessed
12:01 that they have both of us, me and my husband.
12:05 And they don't have to work. Because we were just teenagers.
12:09 We were working, 14 years old.
12:12 Did you have that feeling that somehow there's a
12:15 steal in your childhood?
12:18 I mean, "nanakaw" is such a strong word.
12:22 Maybe you missed out.
12:25 I don't consider that I missed out. I feel like I was blessed.
12:30 I enjoyed it.
12:33 I enjoyed it.
12:35 We went through a lot of things that we can be happy with.
12:38 In terms of conversations, in terms of communication,
12:42 can you actually talk to your children about anything?
12:46 Yes. I'm very close to my kids. They can talk to me about everything.
12:50 And I really give time to ask them, "How was your day?"
12:54 Even with my eldest to my youngest, I always do that.
12:58 I have to make them feel that they can tell me anything.
13:02 How about you, Bunny?
13:04 In terms of conversations?
13:06 With my kids, yes.
13:08 I think because I have a 25-year-old now, Moira,
13:11 she really knows everything that I go through.
13:14 She's going to get married soon.
13:16 I know! So when I'm talking to Moira,
13:19 because we've been through so much together growing up.
13:23 I was still young when I had her.
13:25 So everything I want to say to Moira, she gets me.
13:28 And she would give me advice too if I know what's wrong.
13:30 "Mama, it's okay. It's easy."
13:32 That's great.
13:34 I love my relationship with Moira right now.
13:36 Because usually, it's hard to talk about money.
13:39 It's hard to talk about boyfriends or girlfriends.
13:42 These are not problems to you.
13:44 And I realized when you are open to your kids,
13:47 like right now, she's going to get married soon.
13:50 She knows how to budget.
13:52 She knows what she shouldn't spend that's not necessary.
13:57 She's thinking about her role of being a homeowner.
14:02 Because we helped them buy a house.
14:05 She's learning a lot of different things.
14:08 It's different also with us, Tito Boy.
14:10 Like for me,
14:12 money, budget, and all of that should be a problem.
14:18 But we also come from a family where Moira also has a sickness.
14:21 Recently, she went through a trial.
14:24 It was also hard because she had a lot of tests done.
14:28 She would cry because the tissues were so thick.
14:33 Like biopsy, they would cut her skin on her legs
14:35 and then they would sew it back again.
14:37 They would get samples of her skin
14:40 to see if they were able to add more of the frataxin protein in her body.
14:46 It's a little complicated.
14:49 If that's your problem, Tito Boy,
14:51 everything else wouldn't matter.
14:54 Yeah, money, Tito Boy,
14:56 it's not a problem for us.
14:59 It's more of like health.
15:01 We want a healthy family,
15:04 healthy children.
15:06 That's the blessing, the richest thing.
15:10 You have everything.
15:11 You have good health, you're rich.
15:14 That's what happens.
15:16 That's what we learned during the pandemic.
15:18 Right?
15:19 I think we learned that.
15:21 That wealth is really important.
15:23 I know.
15:24 Tito Boy went with Moira.
15:25 They would tell me when he was diagnosed
15:27 that my child has a disease.
15:29 At 25 to 30 years old,
15:31 I can lose my child.
15:32 That's why he's a make-a-wish child.
15:34 So I was thinking,
15:36 because of the clinical trial,
15:38 they're telling me that there's a miracle happening in my daughter's body.
15:41 They're seeing some...
15:42 It could happen.
15:43 That's why we were praying.
15:45 I was going to ask you that.
15:47 How much of Moira and how much of your lives
15:50 actually you attribute to prayers?
15:53 Every day.
15:54 Oh my gosh, yeah.
15:55 Tito Boy.
15:56 It's all about God, please help her,
15:59 you know, be able to go through these trials in her life.
16:03 I was thinking,
16:06 when they told me she has a disease,
16:08 because make-a-wish child is a life-threatening sickness.
16:11 Life-threatening sickness.
16:12 When they told me,
16:14 there's something miraculous happening in Moira
16:16 because her organs are really down low.
16:19 Really, really low.
16:21 And Moira is like in the middle.
16:23 And something's keeping her,
16:25 even though she can't walk,
16:27 her...
16:29 She's not deteriorating as a person.
16:32 She's not deteriorating as much as the other.
16:34 Yes, as much as she should.
16:35 So we're grateful for that.
16:37 But there are some,
16:38 like her feet is like curly.
16:40 Yes, it hurts.
16:41 So she can't stand straight.
16:44 Is it like that?
16:45 Sometimes she chokes,
16:47 but it seems like it's lessened a bit.
16:49 So we're hoping that it will reverse somehow.
16:51 What I'm hearing is you're so positive
16:53 that you're counting your blessings.
16:54 You have to.
16:55 It's a blessing.
16:56 You need to, right?
16:57 Yeah, to see improvements.
16:58 And I think it helps,
16:59 the behavior, the attitude.
17:01 This whole vibe of,
17:04 you know, God is in your hands.
17:07 Correct.
17:08 Right?
17:09 And I say, I always tell God,
17:10 I'm not going to ask for anything.
17:12 But I hope,
17:13 watch over Moira.
17:15 Just pray for Moira.
17:17 I will endure anything.
17:19 Just keep her safe.
17:22 I'm so glad to hear that Moira is doing well,
17:25 and she's about to get married.
17:26 She's about to get married.
17:27 She found a really good guy.
17:28 God is good.
17:29 God is good.
17:30 He is so good that he gave Moira
17:32 somebody who will,
17:34 you know, care for her, love her.
17:36 And next,
17:37 she fell in love with Moira
17:39 because of her strength also.
17:41 She was amazed.
17:42 What is this girl doing here,
17:44 working for Disney World,
17:45 by herself,
17:46 in a handicapped, accessible home,
17:48 taking a shuttle,
17:50 going to the hotel to work,
17:51 going back again.
17:53 And one time,
17:54 her legs were burned.
17:56 She accidentally threw
17:57 the microwave of hot water.
17:59 She just wants to make noodles.
18:01 It was burned.
18:02 And Nick was there to the rescue.
18:04 He didn't tell me.
18:05 I just saw it.
18:06 It's all black here.
18:08 I'm afraid to let her go home.
18:11 But you know what I'm hearing also again,
18:13 is every moment is a miracle.
18:15 Yeah.
18:16 Thank you so much.
18:17 Thank you.
18:18 Thank you so much.
18:19 Thank you very much.
18:20 Flowers for you.
18:22 Thank you so much, Uncle Boy.
18:23 Thank you.
18:24 Thank you.
18:25 Oh my gosh,
18:26 I've always wanted to have this,
18:27 Uncle Boy.
18:28 Thank you.
18:29 Thank you.
18:30 Really, thank you for the conversation.
18:32 Thank you so much.
18:33 And God bless you.
18:34 God bless us.
18:35 God bless you too.
18:36 Thank you.
18:37 Thank you, Uncle Boy.
18:38 Thank you so much
18:39 for continuing with us every day
18:41 in your homes and hearts.
18:43 Be kind.
18:44 Make your mom and dad proud.
18:46 And #SayThankYou.
18:48 And just one,
18:49 do one good thing a day
18:51 and make this world a better place.
18:54 Goodbye for now.
18:55 God bless.
18:56 [cheers and applause]
18:59 (upbeat music)
