00:00 Easter eggs are not the whole point of Easter but they are a big part and
00:04 every year the most expensive ones seem to get more expensive still. The Star
00:09 went out yesterday to purchase some. We bought a £3.50 Cadbury's egg, a £10
00:14 Thorntons egg and a £20 egg from Hotel Chocolat which wasn't even their
00:19 most expensive offering and offered them to lots of people in Sheffield City
00:23 Centre just to see what they thought of them.
00:27 Nice? Yeah. Yeah and do you think it's, would you say that one's like a, does it taste expensive or cheap?
00:37 What would you? Let me know this one before we go. That's fine, that's fine. Do you want to go? Yeah, go on then.
00:44 What about that one? Nice as well or?
00:50 This one is very tasty. Yeah. And this one is normal. Let me go to here. Go on then.
00:58 For me, I prefer this one. This one here? Because this is too much sugar. Too much sugar? And this is light sugar. Yeah. And this is medium. Yeah.
01:11 So this is it. So which one do you think is the most expensive then? Do you reckon? To me? Did you guess? Yeah. This one. Awesome.
01:17 If we eat this one, you get disease for your, you know, because it's too much sugar. Too much sugar. You're going to get high pressure or the kind of disease.
01:25 But this one you can get the fillings, you can fat more, you know, the kind of things, you know man. Yeah. That's, they're very pretty ones.
01:31 That's alright. And if I told you that that one was the most expensive, how would you react?
01:35 I would not say anything about it but to me, I like this one because some people like sugar. Yeah. Some want sweet things.
01:43 I don't want too much sweet because of the sugar. But this one is normal sugar. So I prefer this one than this one. Awesome.
01:49 And so the one that was your favourite then, how much would you pay for that if you had to? If it was £10 for this, it would pay, to me, it would pay £8 for this. Awesome.
01:58 Well you got that one bang on. That is a set of that. Yes. So yeah, nice one. Well thank you very much for that mate. Very much appreciated. Have a good day. Thank you guys. Much appreciated.
02:04 I will let you take your pick on which one you would like to try first. Okay. Some of them are quite like this. I'll break one for you to try as well. Oh thank you.
02:18 Thoughts? Thoughts on this first one? Dry. Dry? What are you thinking about the chocolate, you know, the chocolatey? Not much chocolatey flavour.
02:28 That's fair enough, that's okay. Option number two? More crisp. Texturally, a bit more like substance to it. Yeah. And slightly more chocolatey flavour. Yeah.
02:43 That one was quite bland. Okay. And this one is your last one then? Bit of an aftertaste with that as well, quite creamy. Mmm. Yeah, that one again, texture, quite crisp. Nice one. Yeah, quite nice.
03:04 And so which one was your favourite? These two, I've got that one. The last one. Awesome. And would you say that that one is the most expensive as well or do you reckon a different one is probably more pricey?
03:16 No. No idea? That's okay. This one, the one that was your favourite, I can tell you is actually the cheapest one we've got. Oh, cheap. You know, can never go wrong with Cadbury.
03:25 The one that you thought was no flavour at all, cost £10. And I was at Thorntons. There you go. And of course this middle one that you thought was quite nice and creamy is the Hotel Chocolat one, which was £20.
03:41 I'm going to say it was much of a muchness between those two. Would you spend £20 on an Easter egg though? Absolutely not, I just like Cadbury's. That's absolutely fine, no, thank you very much. Your verdict was fantastic.
03:53 Free hand, we'll get started with that one if you both wanted to try a piece. Take a big bit if you want, it's alright. Thanks.
04:00 Thoughts when you're ready? Very nice. Very nice, excellent. It's good, it tastes like Cadbury's. Yeah? That's good, no, that's good, I'm pleased.
04:13 We'll go for this other one because I've now managed to make that on my free hand when you were all ready. Good choice. I think I prefer the first one though, that's good.
04:23 You prefer the first one, nice. I prefer the first one still, that's absolutely fine. And, without hopefully dropping the bowl, the bowls that belong to the office building and not me, the last one.
04:44 That's my favourite one. That's your favourite, excellent. Where does it rank for you? Again, when you're ready, we can cut out any chewing. Yeah, I think this was my favourite.
04:52 Favourite as well? Okay, and would you reckon that your favourite one is the most expensive as well or do you reckon a different one is probably pricier? No idea.
04:59 I feel like the second one was probably the most expensive. The second one was the most expensive, yeah? And you're not quite sure? No.
05:05 What about this first one? You both were like the first one, do you reckon that, you know, we could guess Cadbury, but do you reckon it is Cadbury or do you reckon it might be a pricier one or not?
05:14 I guess Cadbury. You're going to stick with Cadbury? Cadbury. Nice one. Okay, well, as a kind of an end of game reveal, you are right, that is Cadbury.
05:24 It is a £3 Easter egg, but this one is our middle one, the one that you both thought was probably the most expensive, I believe. It is a £10 Easter egg.
05:35 And this one is from Hotel Chocolat and costs £20. Would you spend £20 on an Easter egg? No. Is it not worth it? Not worth £20? No, I don't think so.
05:46 It's still your favourite though. It's not worth £20. That's fine, that's obviously fine, I've actually understood that. Nice one. Thank you both for playing, I guess.
05:55 And yeah, have a good day. Thank you. Cheers.
