00:00 Hi there and welcome back to EdinburghNews.com. I'm Rhoda Morrison, I'm the editor here and
00:06 I'm going to run through some of the main stories from the day so far.
00:10 A single mum in Edinburgh has said she has been forced to uproot her family after she
00:13 was handed an eviction notice. Sarah Morris and her two daughters aged 10 and 13 are facing
00:20 eviction from their home at Oxgang's House due to Edinburgh Council's compulsory repairs
00:25 programme. The landlord of Sarah's privately owned flat has chosen to sell the property
00:30 back to the council, which means that Sarah and her family will need to leave the house
00:34 by March 31st. Residents living near a busy Edinburgh roundabout have branded it a dangerous
00:41 rat run and said that it is awful and risky for pedestrians and cyclists. Locals and authorities
00:48 have voiced concerns over speeding in the area, high volumes of traffic, outdated crossings
00:54 and streets plagued by goods vehicles. And finally, the owners of the Willow pub at Jocks
01:00 Lodge have said they are heartbroken as they announced the pub will have to close by April
01:04 7th due to plans to demolish the pub to make way for student housing. If you've got a story
01:11 that you think we should be covering or that you want to let us know about, please do get
