00:01 - Everyone, this is Daisy. - Hi, Daisy.
00:03 - Today, I'm meeting Joey's family.
00:05 I think my biggest fear is that they won't be able
00:07 to see me, like, completely for who I am.
00:10 I really need today to go well.
00:11 I came in driving a little red truck
00:13 with a Christmas tree in the back
00:15 because I grew up on a Christmas tree farm.
00:17 I got out and I forgot my name.
00:19 And he's like, "What's your name?"
00:21 - We had the first one-on-one,
00:23 and Daisy was holding something in
00:25 the entire time we were together during the day.
00:27 - About like eight years ago,
00:28 I got, like, pretty sick for a period of my life,
00:30 and because of that, I've lost almost all of my hearing.
00:33 And so I got a cochlear implant.
00:35 Honestly, this whole experience, it has changed my life,
00:38 and that's because of him and who he is.
00:41 And I know that's a lot because of the people who love him.
00:44 So I just want to say thank you to all of you.
