00:00:00 [Applause]
00:00:08 Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy
00:00:38 Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy
00:01:02 Oh, Thou art worthy, Lord we give You praise, Thou art worthy, and we magnify Your name
00:01:18 Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy, Thou art worthy
00:01:41 Come on, give Him a big one, man, give Him a big one, give Him a big one, give Him a big one. [Praying in Tongues]
00:01:57 Father, we thank You for this and other opportunity to minister to these, Your precious sheep.
00:02:03 Thank You, Lord, that revelation and knowledge will flow freely, uninterrupted and unhindered
00:02:09 by any satanic or demonic force.
00:02:13 And Father, I pray that You will speak through my vocal cords and think through my mind.
00:02:20 Think through my mind.
00:02:23 None of me and all of You, it's in Jesus' name we pray.
00:02:30 And everybody said, "Amen and amen."
00:02:34 You may be seated.
00:02:35 If you have your Bibles, open them up with me to the book of Hebrews chapter 4.
00:02:42 I'm going to read verses 1 through 11 in the NLT as we end this series on what it means
00:02:49 to fall from grace.
00:02:51 Today I want to talk to you about resting in the arms of Jesus.
00:02:58 Resting and the focus on that word resting in the arms of Jesus.
00:03:07 Many have asked, "Well, if we're not doing works, then what do we--what do we do?"
00:03:12 We got to learn how to rest in the arms of Jesus, especially now with stress at an all-time
00:03:24 high.
00:03:27 People are just being attacked in their emotions like I've never seen.
00:03:32 It is time to understand that the rest is still available, and it is something that
00:03:39 as Christians, I don't know if we've really gotten a hold of, but there's a warning given
00:03:44 here that if we don't enter into this rest, we could end up like the generation of Moses
00:03:52 and even Joshua who they entered into Canaan land, was later put out because of their unbelief.
00:04:02 Let's look at this.
00:04:04 Verse 1, "God's promise of entering his rest still stands."
00:04:12 So it's still available.
00:04:16 The part that I want you to be watchful of is that why hadn't it been entered into?
00:04:25 What happened with Israel when they could have entered into that rest, and Joshua, his
00:04:31 generation?
00:04:33 The Bible even says here they didn't even obtain it.
00:04:39 God's promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some
00:04:46 of you might fail to experience it, that some may, even in this day and time, they will
00:04:58 fail to experience the rest.
00:05:02 Verse 2, "For this good news that God has prepared his rest has been announced to us
00:05:12 just as it was to them, but it did them no good because they didn't share the faith of
00:05:23 those who listened to God."
00:05:27 So he says we ought to tremble today if somehow we crown ourselves as Christians, but we still
00:05:35 don't believe.
00:05:38 He says you don't get in to God's rest without believing it, without having faith.
00:05:45 Somebody say, "I believe it."
00:05:48 Without having faith, without believing it, you still won't enter in.
00:05:55 And Christianity has become this thing of trying to work and perform with your self
00:06:01 efforts to try to deserve to get in.
00:06:04 He says, "But if you don't believe, you don't enter in."
00:06:09 They died in the wilderness because they didn't believe.
00:06:13 They didn't receive rest when they even got to Canaan because they didn't believe.
00:06:18 World changes.
00:06:19 I want to declare for you right now, you believe, praise God.
00:06:23 You will enter in to that rest.
00:06:25 Next verse, he says, "For only we who believe can enter his rest.
00:06:34 As for the others, God said, 'In my anger I took an oath, they will never enter my place
00:06:42 of rest,' even though this rest has been ready since he made the whole world."
00:06:50 And if you read in Hebrews 3, it talks about how they did enter in because of the rest,
00:06:55 because of their unbelief.
00:06:58 We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh
00:07:04 day.
00:07:06 On the seventh day, God rested from all his works.
00:07:13 But in the other passage, God said, "They will never enter my place of rest."
00:07:19 So God's rest is there for people to enter.
00:07:23 It's there for you to enter.
00:07:26 But those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God.
00:07:32 They didn't believe.
00:07:33 And notice he says, "Because you didn't believe, you disobeyed."
00:07:37 He calls unbelief disobedience.
00:07:42 So God set another time for entering his rest.
00:07:46 And that time is today.
00:07:51 I'm talking about right now.
00:07:53 I'm talking about today we gonna enter into this rest today.
00:08:01 God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted.
00:08:06 "Today when you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts."
00:08:11 Now if Joshua had succeeded, if he had succeeded, most people thought he said, "But if he
00:08:16 had succeeded in giving them his rest, God would not have spoken about another day of
00:08:22 rest that's still to come."
00:08:24 So even Joshua and them getting in Canaan, obviously they didn't believe even in Canaan
00:08:31 to enter into his rest or it says, "I would still be talking about it."
00:08:39 So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.
00:08:46 Something we gonna get into, ladies and gentlemen, that's gonna be the beginning of a move of
00:08:52 God in your life like never before.
00:08:58 For all who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors just as God did after
00:09:06 creating the world.
00:09:07 And you're gonna find out here what he's saying is all those who enter into God's rest, they
00:09:11 have rested from their self-effort.
00:09:13 They have rested from their performance.
00:09:15 They have rested from what they've been trying to do to get God to do something for them
00:09:21 instead of resting and believing it's already done.
00:09:23 So let us do our best to enter that rest.
00:09:27 But if we disobey or don't believe, God as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
00:09:42 Do you understand that today's teaching is the most important teaching that you have
00:09:45 ever heard?
00:09:51 Because today you're gonna find out not only how to get victory but how not to fall.
00:10:01 How not to fall.
00:10:03 Now, allow me the opportunity to just sow this into your head.
00:10:13 The word "rest," the definition after I looked at the dictionary's four conclusions, I'll
00:10:23 show you the dictionary.
00:10:26 When you look up the word "rest," it means to cease from action and motion.
00:10:30 The dictionary says you stop doing what you're doing.
00:10:33 It means to stop from labor or exertion.
00:10:36 But now, how does this relate to God's rest, this definition?
00:10:40 Well, God's rest, it means no more self-effort, no more trying to please God by your feeble
00:10:48 fleshy works.
00:10:50 And the moment you enter into God's rest, work cease as a way to please God because
00:10:55 you can't do enough work to be perfect.
00:10:59 Rest from the sensation, rest from the legalistic self-activity.
00:11:04 That's what it means in God's rest.
00:11:06 Secondly, in the dictionary, it meant to, you know, to have peace.
00:11:15 But in God's rest, it means to be at peace with God, be free from guilt, no need to worry
00:11:22 about sin because sin is forgiven, no more anxiety, no more pressure, no more shame,
00:11:29 no more guilt because in God's rest, all that's been taken care of.
00:11:37 The third definition I saw in the dictionary of the word "rest," to lie down and to be
00:11:43 settled or to fix or to be fixed.
00:11:47 So that relates to God's rest, to be established in Christ, be rooted and grounded in Christ.
00:11:55 In other words, this rest means you need to rest.
00:11:59 God's rest says you need to be established in Christ, no up and down.
00:12:02 "Oh, I'm saved one day.
00:12:04 I don't know if I'm saved the next day.
00:12:05 Oh, I'm righteous one day.
00:12:06 I don't know if I'm righteous the next day."
00:12:08 He said, "No, you need to get established in Christ, not moving from doctrine to doctrine,
00:12:14 not moving from philosophy to philosophy, not being cast to and fro with every wind
00:12:20 of doctrine."
00:12:21 When you rest, you're settled.
00:12:29 The fourth definition of rest in the dictionary, it says, "Remain confident and put your trust
00:12:35 in Him."
00:12:36 How does that relate to God's rest?
00:12:38 "Enjoy security.
00:12:40 You have trust in God's care for you.
00:12:43 No more being afraid about God not taking care of you.
00:12:47 You now rest in the assurance that God's got me."
00:12:53 And then the last one, rest means to lean on or to trust on.
00:12:59 And to put all of these together, here's what the rest of God or God's rest means for us
00:13:08 as referring here in Hebrews 4 and 11.
00:13:11 It means, here it is again, you done heard it for three or four years, it means to totally
00:13:15 depend on God for support.
00:13:18 It means to totally depend on God for support, totally depend on God for help, totally depend
00:13:24 on God for the power, totally depend on God for everything you need.
00:13:29 When you're resting, the authenticity of the rest is that you find a person who is in total
00:13:36 dependence upon God for everything.
00:13:39 You literally have a new relationship.
00:13:41 Your relationship with God is a relationship of trust, a relationship of rest, a relationship
00:13:46 of total dependence upon God.
00:13:49 This relationship has a complete surrender and a complete trust in God.
00:13:55 It is no longer how many times you can do this or how many days you can do that and
00:14:00 the intensity of doing this.
00:14:01 He is saying that to rest is a complete, total dependence upon God for everything that needs
00:14:09 to happen in your life and while you are alive on this earth.
00:14:12 I trust God.
00:14:14 I trust God.
00:14:15 And I'm telling you right now, you ought to start opening your mouth up when people start
00:14:19 asking you about stuff and say, "You know what?
00:14:20 I trust God."
00:14:21 Well, how's everything going?
00:14:23 Not too good right now, but I trust God.
00:14:26 It ain't no problem telling them, you know, reality what's going on, but put that but
00:14:30 in there because that but means I'm going to zero out whatever's going on and what remains
00:14:35 is that I trust God.
00:14:37 I depend on God.
00:14:38 I don't know how this is going to turn out.
00:14:40 I don't even know what to do.
00:14:42 I don't even know the first step to take.
00:14:44 I don't know where the money going to come from.
00:14:46 Baby need a pair of shoes.
00:14:48 Look, you got a light, they'll do.
00:14:49 I don't know.
00:14:50 I feel like I'm about to lose my mind and go crazy.
00:14:53 I don't know how you're going to do it, but the man that trusts God, something will happen
00:14:58 when you lay your head down on the pillow, glory to God.
00:15:03 Somebody shout, "I trust God."
00:15:06 And he is saying, "I need you to enter into that."
00:15:13 He said they wouldn't enter in in Moses' time.
00:15:16 They wouldn't enter into that in Joshua's time.
00:15:19 And he says it's still remaining today and it is still waiting on whosoever will to rise
00:15:26 up and say, "Some men trust in horses and some men trust in chariots, but I trust in
00:15:33 the almighty God."
00:15:43 Now rest is not inactivity because some of you were ready to go get your pajamas and
00:15:50 a coat and just sit back and…that's not what it is.
00:15:57 Rest is not inactivity.
00:16:00 It's not rest from work, it's rest from the dead work, but it's not rest from work, but
00:16:07 it's rest in work.
00:16:09 It's rest while you're in motion.
00:16:11 It's rest in doing the last thing he told you to do.
00:16:14 Rest while you are working.
00:16:16 In other words, you got bills to do, but you're still going to work.
00:16:19 You don't sit there and say, "Well, I don't make enough money so I stay home."
00:16:22 Now you're still going to work because you're dependent on God to make up for what you don't
00:16:27 have.
00:16:28 You're not resting from activity, you're resting in activity and rest while you're working.
00:16:35 This is what God wants from us.
00:16:36 He wants us to rest while we're doing what we're doing.
00:16:40 You're in motion, trusting God.
00:16:44 You're trusting God.
00:16:45 You're walking, trusting God.
00:16:46 You're dressing the kids up, trusting God.
00:16:48 You're cleaning your house up, trusting God.
00:16:50 Doing all the things you do, trusting God.
00:16:53 Don't know how this going to come out.
00:16:55 Listen, somebody said, "You know, the rent is $500.
00:16:58 I ain't got but $200.
00:16:59 I'm going to work.
00:17:00 I'm going to write the $200 out, trusting God."
00:17:03 You'll be so amazed what God can do with a person that will dare to rest in the midst
00:17:08 of activity, in the midst of doing what you do.
00:17:12 I don't know how I'm going to feel.
00:17:14 I might not feel better, but I'm going to do what's right because it's right, and I
00:17:18 trust God that something's going to happen right in the middle of that.
00:17:21 Turn to your neighbor and say, "It's time to rest."
00:17:29 Now Psalms 46 and 10 puts it like this.
00:17:33 I want to read it in the King James and then the TPT.
00:17:37 Psalms 46 and 10, he says it like this.
00:17:40 He says, "Be still and know that I'm God."
00:17:58 My goodness, I will be exalted among the heathen.
00:18:02 He said, "The heathen are going to start exalting me when they see what I can do with you, but
00:18:08 I can't do nothing with you until you get still."
00:18:12 See, I need you to be still and know.
00:18:16 Just like that army was coming against these Israelites and they prayed because they didn't
00:18:26 know what to do, and the Lord told them, "Just be still."
00:18:32 And then they just started praising God because you can't be still in God and not praising.
00:18:40 You can't be still in God and not worship him.
00:18:42 The devil needs to run when worship starts coming out your mouth.
00:18:49 Be still and know that I am God.
00:18:55 You got to know God gonna move.
00:18:58 You don't need to be jumping out no window because you don't know how you're gonna make
00:19:01 it.
00:19:02 You got to be still and know.
00:19:03 Glory to God.
00:19:04 You don't need to be taking no gun out and shooting everybody because you're frustrated
00:19:09 with everybody.
00:19:10 I'm gonna kill everybody and kill myself.
00:19:12 You got to know God.
00:19:15 And I'm telling you, that's about to come to the end because that kind of stuff gonna
00:19:18 bump into saved folks, and saved folks know what to do in the middle of that kind of chaos.
00:19:23 They don't know what to say about them because they might be a little shaken, but they know
00:19:25 how to say it.
00:19:32 And that you're gonna drop that gun and run right in the arms of the police.
00:19:35 You don't mess with somebody that's filled with the Holy Ghost that knows their God.
00:19:41 Y'all got to help me.
00:19:44 I feel like preaching now.
00:19:49 Now look at this in the TPT.
00:19:53 He says, "Surrender your anxiety.
00:19:58 Be silent.
00:20:01 Stop your striving and you will see that I am God."
00:20:05 How many of you want to see that God is God?
00:20:08 He says, "Surrender your anxiety.
00:20:12 Stop being anxious and stop worrying.
00:20:15 Surrender your anxiety."
00:20:16 How many of you--how many of you know what I'm talking about when I talk about being
00:20:19 worried and anxious?
00:20:23 You don't know what's gonna happen.
00:20:25 You're trying to be peaceful and at ease and your heart's still beating fast, but--and
00:20:30 then you kind of humming, trying to hum it away, and you're trying to read the Scripture
00:20:33 and your body's still responding from it.
00:20:36 And he says, "Surrender your anxiety."
00:20:39 That's the same as, "Cast your care on him."
00:20:43 He said, "Now be silent."
00:20:45 Some of us just need to shut up and when we don't know something, just shut up.
00:20:49 Don't be trying to talk to yourself, just shut up.
00:20:52 I'm gonna show you an anointing of shut up in just a moment.
00:20:57 It ain't part of the gifts of the Spirit, but it'll work.
00:21:00 Surrender your anxiety.
00:21:02 Be silent.
00:21:03 Stop your striving.
00:21:07 Stop you trying to do what you think is necessary for this to work and you'll see that I am
00:21:12 God.
00:21:13 I am the God above all the nations.
00:21:16 Wonder what it is, and I will be exalted throughout the whole world.
00:21:19 Wonder what it is, the fact that I can go out in the street and bring somebody in who
00:21:24 is sick that don't go to church and just tell 'em what you need to do is believe Jesus.
00:21:29 And they come in, they get healed instantly.
00:21:32 And then some other Christian's been here for 40 years and still trying to get well.
00:21:39 Maybe there's some striving going on that you need to let go of and just believe God.
00:21:46 All right?
00:21:48 Now look at Matthew chapter 11, 28 and 30.
00:21:54 Matthew 11, 28 and 30.
00:21:56 Let's look at this in the New Living Translation.
00:22:05 Now listen to this.
00:22:06 "Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens.'"
00:22:14 How many of you know what it's like to carry some heavy burdens?
00:22:19 You ain't nobody gonna raise their hand in here.
00:22:21 I sure know what it's like to carry some heavy burdens.
00:22:25 But you know what he said?
00:22:27 He says, "And I will give you rest.
00:22:30 Take my yoke upon you.
00:22:33 Let me teach you, because I'm humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your
00:22:40 souls."
00:22:41 I declare that over everybody's life, that your soul will enter into a rest right now.
00:22:47 Some of you are tired in your soul, and I speak it right now in the name of Jesus that
00:22:54 there's a rescue for your soul, praise God, your mind, your will, your emotions.
00:23:00 Hallelujah.
00:23:01 He said--okay, I wanna keep reading, but that's all.
00:23:07 Verse 30, yeah.
00:23:08 "For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you will be light."
00:23:18 You know what he's saying here?
00:23:20 Trust God to take care of you.
00:23:23 Trust God to take care of you.
00:23:25 Say it out loud, "I trust God to take care of me."
00:23:31 Now listen to this very carefully.
00:23:33 Under the old covenant, people would work first and then rest, okay?
00:23:42 Under the new covenant, you start with God's rest, and then your work will be empowered
00:23:50 out of that rest.
00:23:52 In other words, you learn how to rest in God, and then you work out of rest, and when you
00:24:00 work out of rest, work out of depending on God, work out of trusting God, your work will
00:24:06 be empowered.
00:24:10 First Peter chapter 5, verse 5, and through 7, let's look at that in the King James.
00:24:16 First Peter 5, verses 5 through 7.
00:24:20 So the old covenant, work, then you rest.
00:24:22 The new covenant, you start off resting, and then your work is born out of rest.
00:24:27 In other words, I'm gonna do what I do trusting God, and I'm gonna do what I do depending
00:24:31 on God, you know?
00:24:32 I'm just gonna--I'm gonna trust God, you know?
00:24:36 I'm gonna believe God, and some amazing things will begin to happen.
00:24:40 First Peter chapter 5, he says, "Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves unto the elder.
00:24:46 Yea, all of you be subject one to another.
00:24:50 Be clothed with humility, for God resisteth the proud, but he gives grace to the humble."
00:25:01 Now, I'm gonna call you humble for right now, and he says he gives grace to the humble.
00:25:06 All right, watch verse 6.
00:25:09 So he said, "Humble yourself therefore unto the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt
00:25:15 you in due time."
00:25:17 So now you're submitting yourselves unto God's plan.
00:25:20 That's humility, all right?
00:25:22 Trying to do your own plan, that's a prideful man.
00:25:26 He goes on, and he says, verse 7, now here he says, "Now, if you're gonna humble yourself
00:25:30 unto God, cast your care upon him."
00:25:35 He doesn't leave it at that.
00:25:36 He says, "If you're gonna be humble, cast your care upon him, because he cares for you."
00:25:45 So this will authenticate your humility.
00:25:49 A man that keeps his care and goes into self-preservation to take care of his own care, that is not
00:25:57 a humble man.
00:26:00 But a man who says, "I'm casting my care on God."
00:26:03 See, some people love to hang on to their care.
00:26:06 Some people just love to worry.
00:26:07 Some people are professional worriers.
00:26:11 Worry means--worry is a negative meditation on the wrong thing.
00:26:18 Spending your time thinking about the wrong thing all day as if you're thinking about
00:26:23 the wrong thing is gonna change it any.
00:26:25 It won't change it, but it will change you, age you, hurt you, cause dis-ease in you.
00:26:35 People have been trying to discover the secret to long life.
00:26:38 It's simple, peace.
00:26:41 You do understand that, right?
00:26:43 You do understand, those of you who love drama, that you are entering into the death cycle?
00:26:49 And those of you who carry care, you have turned on the death cycle.
00:26:53 Those of you who love the worry, you've come--you--it's--see, when you are--when you have dis-ease--when
00:27:02 you're dis-eased in your soul, the disease enters into your body.
00:27:11 Yeah, that's what--that's where a lot of cancers come from.
00:27:16 It was no--it was no secret to me where my cancers came from.
00:27:21 I pastor.
00:27:27 But I can't use that in excuse just 'cause you--just 'cause you pastor, you better--you
00:27:30 gotta learn how to cast the care.
00:27:33 For some reason, you just wanna keep it.
00:27:35 "Oh, God, I've got experience.
00:27:38 I know how to handle this."
00:27:40 Stop.
00:27:41 Even if you've been successful at doing it one way, maybe God told you to do it one way,
00:27:44 but see, God's not doing the same thing every way.
00:27:47 The Bible says he has many wisdom, many--he calls it manifold wisdom, so he's got a lot
00:27:52 of ways of doing the same thing.
00:27:54 He might heal somebody with spit one day, and the next time, he might just blow, and
00:27:58 the next time, he might just wink.
00:28:00 Don't be trying to get methods of how Jesus operates.
00:28:08 But what do you do with people who--they just carry the care.
00:28:11 They won't let it go.
00:28:12 I'm telling you, you've entered the death cycle.
00:28:15 I'm telling you, I have a clear-cut revelation.
00:28:19 It's real simple.
00:28:21 If I want to enjoy a long life, I gotta keep my tongue from speaking evil, slanders.
00:28:30 You gotta stay out of that talk, and you gotta keep your mouth from telling lies, white lies
00:28:39 or black lies.
00:28:40 A lie is a lie.
00:28:47 All of that produces care.
00:28:52 Wonder how many of you came with a burden on your back, a care in your soul, sick and
00:28:59 tired of being sick and tired.
00:29:03 I'm so sick and tired.
00:29:05 You got that right.
00:29:06 The death cycle is on, because if you want to live long, you're gonna have to learn how
00:29:16 to discover peace.
00:29:22 At some point in your life, you got to say, "You know what?
00:29:25 It'll be all right," 'cause can't nobody cause you to worry like folks you love.
00:29:34 You do know that, don't you?
00:29:35 So, we're not talking about your deep, dark enemy from 20 years ago.
00:29:40 We're talking about the ones you love.
00:29:45 So you better learn how to get peace with them.
00:29:47 You better get away from this thing about, "Oh, y'all remember this.
00:29:51 You ain't gonna embarrass me."
00:29:53 See, it ain't about you.
00:29:56 Your children are 43.
00:29:57 That's just like a lady who say, you know, they ask, "Well, you know, you're still overweight,"
00:30:05 she said, "'cause I had a child."
00:30:06 "Well, how old is your child?"
00:30:07 "Well, he's 50."
00:30:08 "Well, he's 50."
00:30:09 Church should not be a place where we come to absorb more drama.
00:30:26 Church should be a place where we come to lay our burdens down, to cast our care on
00:30:32 God, to say, "It's gonna be all right," that I'm not gonna be looking cross-eyed at nobody.
00:30:38 It's too stressful to have an enemy.
00:30:40 It's too stressful to be mad at somebody.
00:30:43 It's too stressful.
00:30:45 You are killing yourself.
00:30:47 "Well, I noticed you didn't hug me."
00:30:52 Well, go hug him.
00:30:53 How you come to church and be stressed out the whole time?
00:31:01 'Cause I don't like how they looked at me or I don't like...
00:31:04 First of all, let's get this straight.
00:31:05 There ain't no perfect church nowhere on the planet, not nowhere on the planet.
00:31:11 So let's get that straight.
00:31:12 The reason why there ain't no such thing as no perfect church is 'cause there ain't no
00:31:15 such thing as no perfect people.
00:31:17 I don't know why y'all keep leaving and coming and leaving and coming.
00:31:20 You finding out what I'm saying is true.
00:31:22 Ain't no perfect...
00:31:23 Not nowhere.
00:31:24 Ain't no perfect pastor nowhere.
00:31:25 Ain't no perfect church nowhere.
00:31:26 Ain't no perfect bookstore nowhere.
00:31:28 Ain't no perfect traffic people nowhere.
00:31:31 Ain't no perfect choir nowhere.
00:31:33 Ain't no perfect...
00:31:35 Everybody gonna crack if not.
00:31:40 There ain't no perfect nothing.
00:31:45 Amen.
00:31:46 Let it go.
00:31:48 Let it go.
00:31:50 It's gonna be all right.
00:31:54 It's gonna be all right.
00:31:58 I'm walking through the lobby and somebody got their kid, got chocolate all on their
00:32:03 hands, and the kid all out there at the front light desk, and I'm trying to do something
00:32:07 nice so we can have something.
00:32:10 And the kid just putting it all over there, and mama just sitting there like she don't
00:32:14 see the doggone kid putting chocolate everywhere.
00:32:19 You sitting back there looking at us like, "Where'd you get your child?"
00:32:22 And you like...
00:32:25 And you talk about that for two days.
00:32:30 God dog, and some of these people need to watch their children.
00:32:33 Well, some of them don't watch their children, but thank God for soap and water and paint.
00:32:45 I know it's true 'cause I'm talking about me.
00:32:47 It's like, "Ooh, get your..."
00:32:53 It was back in the day when the S-curl was out.
00:32:55 You just had a...
00:32:56 You remember the S-curl?
00:32:57 And I just go hug somebody who had my glasses on.
00:33:16 And I come out one eye, can't even see the other one just S-curled all up.
00:33:25 Now you know you shouldn't have hugged me.
00:33:26 You just...
00:33:27 And then you wanna sit down.
00:33:32 My God.
00:33:33 When you first moved in the dorm and slide down and put your S-curl all on the back of
00:33:40 the seat.
00:33:42 I can't preach 'cause I see your little spot.
00:33:49 I used to be that anal.
00:33:51 I stopped preaching one time and told the vision keeper, "Go get the bathroom," 'cause
00:33:55 then I got glitter all on the floor.
00:33:57 And I put it on God, and God's an excellent God, and he don't like glitter all over.
00:34:02 God don't care about no glitter on no floor.
00:34:07 God was just cares.
00:34:12 And now if you wanna live long, you wanna live long.
00:34:20 Ain't no secret.
00:34:24 Pursue peace.
00:34:33 Don't laugh because it was you too, not just me.
00:34:43 Look at Psalms 55 and 22.
00:34:50 Some of you used to get so irritated, you didn't even remember what was wrong.
00:34:57 Somebody speak to you.
00:34:58 "Hey, how you doing?"
00:34:59 "Hey, how you doing?"
00:35:00 "Hey, how you doing?"
00:35:02 "I heard you.
00:35:03 I heard you."
00:35:04 You're looking at you, "She ain't saved.
00:35:18 She don't know Jesus."
00:35:19 All right, now watch this.
00:35:23 Psalms 55, 22, "Cast thy burdens upon the Lord, and he shall sustain you.
00:35:33 He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."
00:35:38 What a great Scripture.
00:35:42 Cast it on the Lord.
00:35:43 So part of my journey now is to learn how to say, "It'll be all right."
00:35:52 And just things kinda calm down.
00:35:54 You know what?
00:35:55 It'll be fine.
00:35:56 I don't know why.
00:35:58 I don't know.
00:35:59 I don't know the whole detail.
00:36:02 I don't know.
00:36:04 It'll be fine because I wanna live long.
00:36:08 I wanna live longer.
00:36:11 You understand what I'm saying?
00:36:12 I don't wanna go until I'm done and until I want to.
00:36:19 You know, the Lord said you can stay as long as you want to.
00:36:22 I don't wanna--you know, when I'm not in this pulpit no more, it's not like, "Well, he getting
00:36:27 ready to go."
00:36:28 Not until I want to.
00:36:29 There's some things I wanna do, and one of the things I wanna do is to put what I want
00:36:33 to be buried in before I leave.
00:36:36 I don't wanna leave it up to relatives and funeral homes.
00:36:39 I'm gonna go ahead and put on what I wanna put on, and y'all just freshen me up and throw
00:36:44 me in a box and we're gonna do what we need to do.
00:36:52 Ain't nobody need to worry about that.
00:36:54 Funeral already paid for, everything done.
00:36:56 And think about that too.
00:36:58 Think about it.
00:36:59 You know, it ain't no problem with you getting a little insurance, at least just enough to
00:37:03 bury yourself.
00:37:04 It ain't no problem to do that.
00:37:08 And I came forward, what I'm doing?
00:37:09 Not insurance.
00:37:10 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:37:11 Get a little insurance, a little insurance, a little insurance, a little insurance.
00:37:22 'Cause that used to bother me too.
00:37:29 And back then I wasn't saying, "It'll be all right."
00:37:31 I'm like...
00:37:32 I used to say words that rhyme like with ninja.
00:37:40 Okay, Joshua 24 and verse 13.
00:37:48 Now let's look at the opportunity and what God was demonstrating in the Old Testament
00:37:52 where rest is concerned.
00:37:54 Joshua 24 and 13, he said, because we think he needs our labor.
00:38:00 Oh, that if God don't have my labor, he can't do nothing.
00:38:04 If I ain't working, then God can't do nothing.
00:38:06 I mean, you know, God don't need you to be who he is.
00:38:11 Look at verse 13.
00:38:12 "And I have given you a land for which you did not labor.
00:38:19 And I gave you cities which you built not, and you dwell in them.
00:38:27 And I gave you vineyards and olive yards which you planted not.
00:38:34 Do ye eat from those?"
00:38:37 So he gave you stuff you didn't build, you eat from stuff you didn't plant.
00:38:43 God is like, "When did I need you?"
00:38:49 Look at Deuteronomy 6, 10 through 13.
00:38:53 You can trust God because he can give you cities you didn't build.
00:39:00 Glory be to God.
00:39:02 I say that, Lord.
00:39:03 He's working on some stuff right now you won't be responsible for.
00:39:08 God Almighty is getting ready to do something in your life where you're not going to have
00:39:11 any choice but to lift your hands up and say, "I ain't have nothing to do with this.
00:39:15 I just trust it in God and God did this for me."
00:39:18 Hallelujah.
00:39:19 "I didn't build it.
00:39:20 I didn't plant it.
00:39:21 He did it."
00:39:22 Hallelujah.
00:39:23 You can trust him.
00:39:24 Deuteronomy 6, 10 through 13, "And it shall be when the Lord thy God shall have brought
00:39:34 thee into the land which he swear unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob,
00:39:40 to give thee great and goodly cities which thou buildest not, and houses."
00:39:50 I feel a house anointing in this room this morning.
00:40:00 And houses full.
00:40:04 And I know that happens because I did it.
00:40:07 I sold a house and left everything in the house.
00:40:11 They had to do nothing but bring their clothes and if they wanted them, there was a big bag
00:40:15 in the garage they could have got.
00:40:17 I'm telling you, God will do that.
00:40:19 He'll put it on people's hearts to leave a house that's full of good things.
00:40:24 He knows how to talk to people that you're going to be dealing with.
00:40:29 Just trust him.
00:40:32 And he says, "I gave them houses full of all good things which thou fillest not."
00:40:39 And then he said, "Wells that were already digged, which thou diggest not.
00:40:46 Thin yards and olive trees, which thou plantest not."
00:40:49 Now notice what he said here.
00:40:50 Here's the key.
00:40:51 "When thou shall have eaten and you're full, beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought
00:41:02 thee forth out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage."
00:41:07 You know what he's saying?
00:41:08 Don't forget to thank God when he does something for you.
00:41:16 Don't go around talking about, "Well, I don't know how this happened.
00:41:21 I don't know what's going on."
00:41:23 You call the IRS and say, "I'm calling to pay my bill."
00:41:26 They say, "Ma'am, we can't find no record that you owe nothing."
00:41:29 Don't sit on the phone for 10 more minutes trying to get them to check something else.
00:41:35 You hang that phone up real quick.
00:41:37 They say, "I can't find nothing."
00:41:38 You say, "Bye."
00:41:39 You don't even say, "Bye."
00:41:40 Click.
00:41:41 Hallelujah.
00:41:42 Click.
00:41:43 Click.
00:41:44 Because I'm telling you, God is getting ready to do something that you won't be able to
00:41:49 take credit for.
00:41:52 Hallelujah.
00:41:54 Just trust him.
00:41:58 Believe him.
00:42:01 Believe that he can and believe that he will.
00:42:09 You need to praise him in this place.
00:42:16 I'm telling you.
00:42:17 You need to praise him in this place.
00:42:21 You don't need to wait until it's done.
00:42:24 You need to start praising him like it's already done.
00:42:28 You need to start thanking him and you ain't seen nothing yet.
00:42:35 Hallelujah.
00:42:36 Hallelujah.
00:42:37 Now, now, now, now, now, watch this.
00:42:51 Watch this.
00:42:54 I'm telling you, there's an anointing being released.
00:43:00 He getting ready to show you just who he is.
00:43:09 Philippians chapter 4, verse 6 through 7 in the NLT.
00:43:16 Philippians 4, verses 6 through 7 in the NLT.
00:43:20 Now, now, watch this.
00:43:24 Here it is again.
00:43:27 Don't worry about anything.
00:43:31 Well, somebody said, "Well, if I'm not worrying, then what else can I do?"
00:43:37 He said, "Instead of worrying, pray about everything."
00:43:40 Don't worry about anything.
00:43:43 Pray about everything.
00:43:44 So, in place of worrying, pray.
00:43:50 Tell God what you need.
00:43:52 You know, sometimes we go around worrying about a need being unmet and hadn't even checked
00:43:58 in with God.
00:43:59 So, just say, "God, I need you to do.
00:44:01 Can you--Lord, hear what I need."
00:44:02 Tell God what you need and don't wait until you see it.
00:44:07 Go ahead and thank him for all he has done.
00:44:13 That's the life of depending on God.
00:44:15 "Lord, I need this."
00:44:18 Thank you and get on up and keep it moving.
00:44:22 That's the life of faith.
00:44:27 But there's so much fear and intimidation in the world that you forget God.
00:44:35 Don't forget God.
00:44:36 "Well, I don't know if I believe like that."
00:44:39 Well, Houston, we got a problem because believing to God is like gasoline is to your car.
00:44:46 You got to have it to move.
00:44:49 "Well, I got an electric car."
00:44:52 Well, it's like electricity to your car then.
00:44:56 You're smart, sir.
00:45:02 He says, "When you do that, then--" Listen to this, man.
00:45:05 I believe this.
00:45:06 "Then you will experience God's peace."
00:45:10 So if nothing else, you get your peace.
00:45:14 And a lot of stuff can get to you 'cause you got your peace.
00:45:19 A lot of stuff being blocked up 'cause you're not in peace.
00:45:24 Peace is your most valuable asset.
00:45:28 If it costs you your peace, it's too expensive.
00:45:34 You got to hold on to this peace like it's breath.
00:45:40 Then you'll experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.
00:45:47 This peace, watch this, will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
00:45:59 We need a guard 'cause out of your heart flows every issue of life.
00:46:06 And if your heart is not being guarded with peace, that's impacting the harvest, the harvest.
00:46:15 I guarantee you, you go look at your harvest-less life and you will notice you also have a peace-less
00:46:24 life.
00:46:26 No, it's everything.
00:46:31 That's why Jesus said, "Peace, I leave you."
00:46:33 Then he said, "My peace."
00:46:37 Jesus' peace can keep you emotionally stable when you're going through a rough time.
00:46:48 That's why it's his peace, peace that you don't even understand, "Why am I not going
00:46:55 crazy?
00:46:56 Why am I not losing it?
00:46:59 Why didn't I blow my brains out?
00:47:03 Why?"
00:47:04 Because Jesus' peace prevents that from happening.
00:47:10 Say out loud, "I have Jesus' peace."
00:47:14 Not the peace that comes from the world.
00:47:15 The peace that comes from the world is conditional peace.
00:47:20 The conditions need to be right for you to have peace.
00:47:24 But Jesus' peace is not based on the condition.
00:47:29 Glory be to God.
00:47:31 Glory be to God.
00:47:34 Hallelujah.
00:47:35 Look at Psalms chapter 4 and verse 8 in the NLT, Psalms 4 and 8 in the NLT.
00:47:45 Psalms 4 and 8 in the NLT, he says, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone,
00:47:54 O Lord, will keep me safe."
00:47:58 Isaiah 26, 3 in the NLT, "In peace I will lie down and sleep."
00:48:07 Somebody says, "I need to take a sleeping pill."
00:48:08 No, you just need to get in peace.
00:48:12 Get in peace.
00:48:14 You know you don't sleep good when you're not in peace.
00:48:18 Verse 3, "You will keep him in perfect peace."
00:48:22 All right, how do I get that peace?
00:48:23 "All who trust in him, all whose thoughts are fixed on you."
00:48:30 See, when you're not in peace, your thoughts are fixed on the issue of problems.
00:48:35 We got to practice fixing our thoughts on him.
00:48:39 We've got to practice saying, "I trust God," until it becomes a working reality on the
00:48:46 inside of your heart.
00:48:51 Then look at 2 Corinthians 4, 16 through 18 in the message.
00:48:55 2 Corinthians chapter 4, verse 16 and 18 in the message translation.
00:49:02 This is so cool here.
00:49:03 He says, "So we're not giving up."
00:49:06 We're not giving up.
00:49:07 Say it.
00:49:08 Say, "I'm not giving up."
00:49:09 Don't raise your hands.
00:49:10 How many of you have ever felt like giving up?
00:49:14 Don't raise your hands.
00:49:15 That's the first thing I said, "Don't raise your hands."
00:49:16 So, we're not giving up.
00:49:26 So, house of world changers, we're declaring this to all of the demons of hell so they
00:49:32 can take it back to their boss.
00:49:37 We're not giving up.
00:49:40 It's been rough.
00:49:41 It's been tough.
00:49:42 It's been frustrating.
00:49:44 It's been anxiety.
00:49:47 It's been this.
00:49:48 It's been brokenness.
00:49:49 It's been abuse.
00:49:51 It's been sickness.
00:49:52 It's been pain.
00:49:53 It's been close to dying.
00:49:56 It's been loss of loved ones.
00:50:00 Take this to your boss.
00:50:01 We're not giving up.
00:50:06 We're not giving up.
00:50:09 Come on, somebody say it.
00:50:10 "I'm not giving up."
00:50:11 Go shut up.
00:50:16 I'm not giving up.
00:50:17 I know you felt like it.
00:50:21 I know you even said it.
00:50:22 I know you even planned it.
00:50:25 We're not giving up.
00:50:29 You know what that does to your guardian angels?
00:50:32 Yeah.
00:50:34 You know what that does to your soul?
00:50:36 It's refreshing to adhere to your spirit that says,
00:50:43 "Weeping may endure for the night,
00:50:47 but joy cometh in the morning."
00:50:52 I'm not giving up.
00:50:53 I'm gonna just go to bed.
00:50:55 I'm gonna show you something about that going to bed
00:50:57 in a minute.
00:50:58 Some of y'all might go home and go to bed.
00:51:00 So, we're not giving up.
00:51:04 How could we?
00:51:06 Even though on the outside it often looks like things are
00:51:10 falling apart on us, even though on the outside it look like
00:51:14 it's falling apart, on the inside where God is making new
00:51:19 life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace,
00:51:27 that his grace has been enveloped,
00:51:30 ready to unfold right when you--not a day goes by when the
00:51:34 unfolding grace of God is not made available to you.
00:51:36 He says, "These hard times are small potatoes compared to the
00:51:41 coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us."
00:51:47 It's like small potatoes.
00:51:51 So, you might as well go and make a potato salad, bro.
00:51:56 There's a far more--there's far more here than meets the eye.
00:52:01 There's a bigger reason why you're going through what you're
00:52:03 going through.
00:52:04 There's a bigger reason why you were hurting the way
00:52:06 you were hurting.
00:52:07 There's a bigger reason why you couldn't sleep for the last
00:52:09 three nights.
00:52:10 There's a bigger reason why you've been dealing what you've
00:52:12 been dealing with.
00:52:13 There's a bigger reason more than meets the eye.
00:52:17 The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow.
00:52:22 But the things we can't see now will last forever.
00:52:26 You may not be able to see the provisions of God,
00:52:29 but it's there.
00:52:30 You may not be able to see the angels getting ready to help
00:52:32 you, but it's there.
00:52:34 You may not be able to see the plan of the Holy Spirit right
00:52:36 now, but it's there.
00:52:38 You may not see what God has already planned for you,
00:52:41 things that are good, things that'll work out for your good,
00:52:44 but it is there.
00:52:46 Those things you can't see are eternal.
00:52:48 You have eternal things working for you in the name of Jesus.
00:52:52 Everything is gonna be all right.
00:52:55 [congregation applauding]
00:53:00 We're not going to quit.
00:53:03 Let's look at this sleep, Psalms 127,
00:53:12 verse 1 through 2 in the King James, Psalms 127.
00:53:15 "Except the Lord build the house,
00:53:27 they labor in vain that build it," 'cause it's gonna fall
00:53:32 down one day.
00:53:34 "Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh,
00:53:40 but in vain."
00:53:43 It is vain for you to rise up early and to sit up late at
00:53:47 night to eat the bread of sorrows.
00:53:52 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:53:58 Remind me to "Lion on the Wizard of Oz,"
00:54:06 "I'm the king of the forest."
00:54:19 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:20 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:21 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:22 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:23 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:24 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:25 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:26 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:27 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:28 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:29 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:30 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:31 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:32 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:33 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:34 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:54:35 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:00 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:07 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:12 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:16 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:20 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:24 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:28 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:31 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:34 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:37 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:40 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:43 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:46 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:49 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:52 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:55 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:55:58 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:01 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:04 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:07 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:10 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:13 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:16 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:19 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:22 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:25 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:28 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:31 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:34 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:37 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:40 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:43 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:46 "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen."
00:56:49 You know how many discoveries, how many cures,
00:56:52 how many amazing ideas that happen
00:56:55 while people were asleep?
00:56:58 I'm going to sleep tonight.
00:57:04 The very answer you need for the problem while you awake
00:57:11 can be taken care of when you sleep.
00:57:15 And you look at that pillow and you say,
00:57:18 "When my head hits the pillow,
00:57:20 it's going to hit the pillow in peace,
00:57:23 and my sleep is going to be sweet."
00:57:27 And it's almost when you go to sleep,
00:57:31 it's like heaven say, "Good. Now--"
00:57:35 Amen?
00:57:42 Now, look at this, Mark chapter 4, 35, 38.
00:57:46 Give me about five minutes.
00:57:49 It's Easter next summer, so--I mean, next Sunday.
00:57:52 Next summer, next Sunday.
00:57:55 Mark 4, 35 through 38 in King James.
00:58:00 "Same day when the evening was calm,
00:58:07 he saith unto them, 'Let's pass over unto the other side,'
00:58:10 Jesus said.
00:58:12 And when they had sent away the multitudes,
00:58:14 they took him even as he was in the ship.
00:58:19 And there were also with him other little ships.
00:58:24 And there arose a great storm of wind,
00:58:28 and waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
00:58:34 And he," referring to Jesus,
00:58:38 "was in the back part of the ship,
00:58:41 asleep on a wet pillar."
00:58:46 Okay, I'm just assuming it was wet since the water
00:58:49 was in the boat, but Jesus was in the back asleep.
00:58:55 He was asleep.
00:58:59 Why are you worried about the wind and the waves
00:59:04 when you got Jesus in your boat?
00:59:08 You got him living on the inside of you,
00:59:15 walking with you every day,
00:59:18 and you're worried about the storms of life
00:59:22 when Jesus is in your boat.
00:59:27 You got to know that while he was asleep,
00:59:32 he was controlling everything asleep.
00:59:36 Wasn't no more water going to get in there
00:59:39 than the boat could have without sinking.
00:59:42 And if it was going to sink,
00:59:44 they'd have still been all right.
00:59:45 He'd allow for them to breathe underwater like a fish.
00:59:48 You got Jesus in the boat.
00:59:50 Why are you worried about the water and the wind
00:59:54 when Jesus is in the boat?
01:00:00 Why are you worried about your life
01:00:02 when Jesus is in the boat?
01:00:04 Why are you worried about how the bills going to be paid
01:00:07 when Jesus is in the boat?
01:00:09 Why are you worried about your children
01:00:11 when Jesus is in the boat?
01:00:16 And this is what people do
01:00:19 who don't understand the power of Jesus being in the boat.
01:00:24 They walk him up.
01:00:28 More powerful asleep,
01:00:31 they walk him up.
01:00:34 Check him out.
01:00:35 And they say, "Master."
01:00:37 Now, wasn't this pretty when they woke him up
01:00:38 because they had anxiety now
01:00:41 because they're tripping out.
01:00:43 Dude, he's asleep.
01:00:45 Don't he feel all of this?
01:00:49 "Master."
01:00:52 Almost kind of said like, "Cut the call."
01:00:58 Don't you even care we about to die?
01:01:05 How did it go there?
01:01:06 How are you not questioning his care?
01:01:09 Because when you question God's care,
01:01:12 fear is going to come in on the inside of you.
01:01:14 When you don't trust that God can take care of you,
01:01:16 you're scared to give
01:01:21 because you don't trust he can take care of you.
01:01:23 You keep making all these excuses.
01:01:25 "Well, I ain't going to give."
01:01:26 You see the tie the preacher had on.
01:01:28 That ain't it.
01:01:29 That ain't none of it.
01:01:30 You're scared to give because Jesus sleep in the boat
01:01:33 and you're like, "Don't you care about us?"
01:01:38 Next verse.
01:01:41 "And he arose and rebuked the wind."
01:01:49 Because that was just an issue.
01:01:50 It was wind.
01:01:53 "And said unto the sea, 'Be still.'
01:01:57 "And the wind stopped, and there was a great calm."
01:02:04 Now, you can think what you want to think,
01:02:05 but can you imagine Jesus sleeping?
01:02:09 The amazing stuff going on while he sleep?
01:02:13 And they woke him up?
01:02:15 It's kind of like if you were to die and go to heaven
01:02:20 and you're just about to hug Jesus
01:02:23 and somebody call you back.
01:02:30 You say, "Now, the Lord going to have to forgive me
01:02:32 "because I'm going to cuss all y'all out
01:02:39 "because I ain't paid my rent."
01:02:41 Now, you're going to call me back here
01:02:42 and I got to figure out how I'm going to get my--
01:02:44 I got to figure out where I'm going to get the rent money from.
01:02:46 I was in the arm of Jesus.
01:02:54 "And there was a great calm."
01:02:56 And in the next verse he said, "And he said unto them,
01:03:00 "'Why are you so," watch this, "fearful?
01:03:07 "'How is it that you don't have no faith?'
01:03:15 "And the Bible said that they can't enter into that rest
01:03:19 "'cause they didn't have faith."
01:03:23 They either should have let Jesus alone
01:03:26 or went to sleep with him.
01:03:31 And that's how we are today.
01:03:33 We come to church, we hear this, we get charged up,
01:03:36 we're fired up, and then we go home and a storm comes
01:03:39 and we get full of fear.
01:03:42 'Cause we say we trust him when ain't nothing going on.
01:03:47 But when they're nailing something to your door
01:03:50 and carrying a coffee table out, you have given up on Jesus
01:03:53 when he will never give up on you.
01:03:56 You have no idea what's about to happen.
01:04:00 Maybe you got evicted because he'd been trying to get you
01:04:03 into the house of your dreams, but you would never move
01:04:06 because you were so scared.
01:04:09 And so he puts you out as an act of mercy and grace
01:04:12 just like he did Adam and Eve.
01:04:14 Put them out of the garden so they wouldn't maintain
01:04:17 that sin nature for the rest of eternity.
01:04:23 See, we can talk that religious stuff,
01:04:26 which really turns me off,
01:04:30 because there's always the question, "Do you mean it?"
01:04:36 "Oh, I'm going to enter the rest."
01:04:39 Well, it's easy to rest when there's no storms.
01:04:43 But you got to be that kind of person that sleep good
01:04:45 when it's raining and thundering and lightning outside
01:04:48 that you didn't even know it because you were sleeping good.
01:04:53 That's faith and trust.
01:04:56 And he says you need to tremble
01:05:00 so that you won't be another generation
01:05:03 that fails to enter in because you had no faith.
01:05:10 But I'm here to tell you today, child of God,
01:05:14 Jesus is in your boat.
01:05:20 Jesus is in your boat.
01:05:26 Well, I hear what you're saying, Reb,
01:05:29 if I do nothing, then I get nothing.
01:05:34 See, that's only true if you're without Christ.
01:05:39 But the moment you have Christ in you, the hope of glory,
01:05:43 then he goes to work.
01:05:46 Listen to this.
01:05:48 If you rest, then God will work.
01:05:55 But if you work, then God will rest.
01:06:00 You got to decide what you're going to do
01:06:03 because while you're working, he resting.
01:06:08 I'm going to rest so he can do the work.
01:06:12 In fact, he's already done the work.
01:06:19 Can I have two minutes?
01:06:22 John 5, 17, King James.
01:06:25 John 14, 10, King James.
01:06:27 Galatians 2, 20, NLT, and I'm done.
01:06:32 John 5, 17, "But Jesus answered them,
01:06:36 'My Father worketh, hitherto I work.'"
01:06:40 He's working.
01:06:42 John 14, 10, "Believest thou not that I am in the Father
01:06:47 and the Father in me?
01:06:49 The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself,
01:06:51 but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."
01:06:58 Galatians 2 and 20 in NLT, "And as a result of this,
01:07:03 that he's working, my old self has been crucified with Christ.
01:07:09 It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.
01:07:13 So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God
01:07:18 who loved me and gave himself for me."
01:07:22 Closing statement, "I now believe this.
01:07:28 I'm not living for God.
01:07:32 God is living for me."
01:07:38 God is living for me.
01:07:40 Every head bowed, every eye closed,
01:07:42 Father, we thank you that these ears have been anointed
01:07:49 to hear the Gospel.
01:07:54 Their hearts have received the Gospel.
01:08:01 And today, we rest in your finished works.
01:08:08 We rest in Jesus by faith and trust.
01:08:14 Our new life is a life that depends on you for everything.
01:08:22 And let our efforts and our sweat not hinder you
01:08:28 from doing what you do best for us.
01:08:34 You know everybody's situation at the sound of my voice.
01:08:39 Those who are in this church, those in the e-church,
01:08:41 and those who are viewing through other methods,
01:08:43 you know all of their situations.
01:08:47 Lord, I believe in miracles, and I believe for a miracle
01:08:51 for every person in here right now.
01:08:54 Instant, an instant blessing to come on them instantly right now,
01:08:57 that they trust you more and more,
01:09:00 that they talk themselves into faith
01:09:02 and talk themselves to stand in the faith.
01:09:04 No matter what, no matter what, I trust God.
01:09:06 No matter what, come hell or high water, I trust God.
01:09:10 And with this simple move, open your heavens.
01:09:18 Convince them beyond all shadows of any doubt
01:09:23 that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly
01:09:26 above all and more than they are able to ask or think.
01:09:33 Let your glory be revealed to every household.
01:09:38 Let the manifestations of your glory
01:09:40 be revealed to every family.
01:09:44 I thank you, Lord, that they have ears to hear,
01:09:47 hearts to receive.
01:09:49 Flow your will down now.
01:09:52 Flow your will down now.
01:09:58 Let it be seen by those who don't know you
01:10:01 and allow us to be a vehicle
01:10:04 to bring them in to the family of God.
01:10:11 Every care, every worry, all anxiety,
01:10:17 we cast upon you now.
01:10:21 Do your thing, God.
01:10:23 We trust you.
01:10:25 Teach us how to keep our mouth closed
01:10:27 when you're not instructing us to open it and use it.
01:10:30 And help us to keep our emotions check
01:10:34 so that they won't begin to rule what we do,
01:10:36 what you have us to do, what you call us to do,
01:10:38 what you instruct us to do.
01:10:42 Thank you, Lord.
01:10:47 Do it now.
01:10:49 Let it be a supernatural manifestation
01:10:53 while men and women are sitting down.
01:10:58 Thank you.
01:11:00 Thank you.
01:11:03 In Jesus' name.
01:11:06 Now, Father, it is our time to give.
01:11:11 We extend our prayer and our giving,
01:11:15 and we say, mighty God,
01:11:19 that you have made us generous givers.
01:11:23 We are not afraid to give because we know you care for us.
01:11:28 Speak to our hearts.
01:11:31 Show us and guide us even in our giving.
01:11:35 Let us break any fear barrier right now.
01:11:39 Let us break any religious devotion with our giving.
01:11:44 Let us not give out of necessity.
01:11:46 Let us not give out of pressure.
01:11:48 Let us not give out of wrong motivation.
01:11:54 But right now, Lord, let us move into this space
01:11:59 of giving out of our love, out of a cheerful heart,
01:12:04 out of a want to for you and the kingdom.
01:12:10 In Jesus' name, we give unto the Lord.
01:12:14 Glory due unto you.
01:12:17 We bless you, Father.
01:12:20 Thank you.
01:12:22 And right now, we just walk in the Spirit
01:12:25 while we are awake right now.
01:12:27 We thank you by just doing your Word.
01:12:30 In Jesus' name, amen.
01:12:34 If you need an offering envelope, raise your hands,
01:12:37 we would be more than happy to serve you.
01:12:40 We don't separate our giving.
01:12:43 It's a part of our worship.
01:12:45 It's a part of who we are as children of God
01:12:48 and people of God, that we take it as serious as the Word,
01:12:53 as serious as our worship, as serious as our praise,
01:12:58 that we give unto our God.
01:13:01 My goodness.
01:13:05 If you're in our e-church, you know what to do.
01:13:07 The information's on the screen.
01:13:10 If you dare to break out of your religious fear
01:13:14 concerning giving, information's on the screen.
01:13:19 We are so blessed to be able to pastor such a magnificent people
01:13:26 who hunger and thirst for the will of God in their lives.
01:13:32 It is our great pleasure to teach you according to God's Word,
01:13:38 not our feelings and our emotions,
01:13:41 and to see your life transformed by the power of God.
01:13:46 Amen.
01:13:49 Praise God.
01:13:52 Whoo.
01:13:58 Y'all got anything out of that, or did I just holler?
01:14:00 [applause]
01:14:04 I got blessed teaching it.
01:14:09 Go ahead, hold your offerings up right now.
01:14:11 Father, thank you for this opportunity to give
01:14:15 into the kingdom of God.
01:14:17 Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity
01:14:20 to give glory to your name.
01:14:23 You said to bring an offering
01:14:26 and to worship you in the beauty of your holiness.
01:14:30 Thank you for allowing us to continue to be students of the Word
01:14:33 and students of grace.
01:14:35 And may all that we do from the Word
01:14:40 be demonstrated in our lives.
01:14:43 We praise you and thank you for it now, in Jesus' name, amen.
01:14:49 Usher, you can go ahead and receive the offering.
01:14:55 Thank you.
01:14:58 Praise God.
01:15:00 Now, while they're receiving the offering,
01:15:04 those of you who are here today
01:15:07 and you've never been born again,
01:15:10 you've never made Jesus your Lord and personal Savior,
01:15:13 I wanna give you the opportunity to be saved today.
01:15:16 It's totally up to you.
01:15:19 If you're here today and you believe that God is calling you
01:15:22 to join this church, World Changes Church International,
01:15:25 I wanna give you that opportunity today.
01:15:28 If you're here and you wanna receive the baptism
01:15:31 of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues
01:15:36 or recommit yourself to God, you're still saved,
01:15:40 but you're like, "I just--I wanna have some kind of
01:15:44 "outward act to re-energize my relationship with him."
01:15:50 "I put it down and I hadn't picked it up,
01:15:53 "and I'm ready to pick it up and be all that God has made me."
01:15:57 Nobody can make you do anything.
01:16:00 You know that.
01:16:03 But what an opportunity we have to come to the altar,
01:16:08 the place of transformation, and to say at that altar,
01:16:13 "Lord, I believe you. Save me.
01:16:17 I believe you. Feel me."
01:16:22 It's a time for you to do what you believe
01:16:26 God's called you to do.
01:16:30 "Well, aren't you gonna tell us we're gonna go to hell
01:16:32 if we don't do it?"
01:16:33 Nah, I'm trying to make sure no condemnation
01:16:36 comes from this pulpit.
01:16:40 What I will tell you is that God loves you,
01:16:43 and he loved you while you were yet a sinner,
01:16:48 and he ain't never gonna give up on you,
01:16:50 and he ain't never gonna leave you.
01:16:53 You have to make the decision.
01:16:55 So that's it.
01:16:57 If you wanna decide in any of those areas,
01:16:59 you can get your Bibles and personal belongings
01:17:01 and come on down, and we'll pray with you
01:17:04 and believe God for you.
01:17:06 In Jesus' name.
01:17:09 Soon and very soon
01:17:12 We are going to see the King
01:17:17 Soon and very soon
01:17:20 We are going to see the King
01:17:25 Soon and very soon
01:17:28 We are going to see the King

01:18:00 We are going to see the King
01:18:04 Hallelujah, Hallelujah
01:18:08 We're going to see the King
01:18:12 And should there be
01:18:15 Any rivers we must cross
01:18:19 Should there be
01:18:21 Any mountains we must climb
01:18:27 God will supply
01:18:30 All the strength that we need
01:18:34 Give us strength
01:18:36 Till we reach the other side
01:18:42 We have come from every nation
01:18:46 God knows each of us by name
01:18:50 And Jesus shed His blood
01:18:53 And He washed our sins
01:18:56 And He washed them all away
01:18:59 And yes, there are some of those
01:19:02 Who have laid down their lives
01:19:06 But we all shall meet again
01:19:09 On the other side
01:19:13 Oh, soon, soon and very soon
01:19:17 We are going to see the King
01:19:21 Soon and very soon
01:19:24 We are going to see the King
01:19:28 Soon and very soon
01:19:31 We are going to see the King
01:19:35 Hallelujah, Hallelujah
01:19:38 We're going to see the King
01:19:40 No more dying there
01:19:42 No more dying there
01:19:45 We are going to see the King
01:19:49 No more dying there
01:19:52 We are going to see the King
01:19:56 No more dying there
01:19:59 We are going to see the King
01:20:03 Hallelujah, Hallelujah
01:20:06 We're going to see the King
01:20:08 One more time, soon and very soon
01:20:10 Soon and very soon
01:20:13 We are going to see the King
01:20:17 Soon and very soon
01:20:20 We are going to see the King
01:20:24 Soon and very soon
01:20:27 We are going to see the King
01:20:31 Hallelujah, Hallelujah
01:20:34 We're going to see the King
01:20:38 Come on, give the Lord a big hand clap.
01:20:41 My, my, my, my.
01:20:45 Whoo.
01:20:47 That is an old song.
01:20:50 But it is just true, just as true today
01:20:53 as it was when Andre Krauss wrote it.
01:20:56 Amen.
01:20:57 Father, we thank you for those who have come to this altar
01:21:00 and I pray that you will minister life to them,
01:21:04 blessing to them,
01:21:06 turn everything around that needs to be turned around
01:21:10 and they will never be the same again because of you.
01:21:14 And it's in Jesus' mighty name we pray.
01:21:18 And everybody said, "Amen."
01:21:21 You turn this way and follow these gentlemen to the prayer room.
01:21:24 They're going to take you and minister to you,
01:21:26 give you biblical understanding of how to obtain
01:21:29 and maintain what you came to receive,
01:21:31 and we thank God you'll never be the same again.
01:21:33 Amen.
01:21:34 So, happy Passover.
01:21:38 Happy Palm Sunday and all other stuff.
01:21:43 Amen.
01:21:44 And look forward to our celebration next week
01:21:48 starting on Friday,
01:21:49 and we're just going to be celebrating,
01:21:51 doing some amazing things, and I'm just so excited about it.
01:21:54 Thank y'all for coming to church today.
01:21:56 Thank you for listening.
01:21:57 Thank you for being an amazing fellowship of believers
01:22:01 that just trust God and continue to be students of grace.
01:22:06 Amen?
01:22:07 And now may the power of God's Spirit be upon you all.
01:22:12 May you come to know him as a friend that sticketh closer
01:22:17 than any brother.
01:22:19 May you come to recognize that you are sons of God.
01:22:24 May the angels of God continue to carry out what God has
01:22:28 commanded them to watch over you,
01:22:31 lest you dash your foot against the stone.
01:22:34 I pray divine protection against chaos, confusion, crime,
01:22:41 that it shall not come near you.
01:22:44 I plead the blood of Jesus over you,
01:22:46 your family, over your life,
01:22:48 that you will live long and prosper.
01:22:52 I declare the peace of God over your life,
01:22:55 and I declare grace, grace to every mountain,
01:23:00 and that all is well with you.
01:23:03 And now unto him who is able to keep you from falling
01:23:07 and to present you faultless before the Almighty God,
01:23:12 be glory, majesty, dominion, and power both now and forever.
01:23:21 And everybody said amen.
01:23:24 God bless you.
01:23:25 Have an amazing day, everybody.
01:23:27 We love you.
01:23:30 Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen.
01:23:36 Trust God, bro.
01:23:37 Trust God, bro.
01:23:39 Trust God.
01:23:40 Hey, world changers.
01:23:41 We are just so thankful for each of you that tuned in today for service.
01:23:45 Man, a powerful, powerful service.
01:23:48 Powerful.
01:23:49 Listen, God is too real, and he's too good.
01:23:50 Too good.
01:23:51 We should get out of service today, y'all.
01:23:53 I mean, you do what I said, you know.
01:23:55 Hey, my bad.
01:23:56 Trust God.
01:23:58 Like, literally, that's the mic drop.
01:24:00 Yeah.
01:24:01 Trust God.
01:24:02 He's in the boat with you.
01:24:03 He's in the boat.
01:24:04 He's in the boat with you, so if he resting, you need to rest.
01:24:07 Trust God.
01:24:08 I know I have.
01:24:10 Listen, you got to go to sleep.
01:24:12 Sleep.
01:24:13 If he sleep, I'm sleep.
01:24:14 Listen, what I got, especially one thing that just stuck out for me was when you rest, if you rest, God will work.
01:24:22 But if you working, God is resting.
01:24:24 Listen, I choose rest.
01:24:25 I choose rest.
01:24:26 I choose rest.
01:24:27 Trust God.
01:24:28 Trust God.
01:24:29 Listen, that's it right there.
01:24:30 Listen, share what you got from today's message in the comments right now.
01:24:34 Share with yourself, all right.
01:24:37 Today was such a blessing.
01:24:38 Man, and we definitely encourage you, of course, to share this message to someone that you love.
01:24:43 Share with someone else.
01:24:44 There are going to be re-airs today, of course, following service, but still share with yourself.
01:24:49 Rewatch it.
01:24:50 Rewatch it.
01:24:51 Take them notes.
01:24:52 Have your own Bible study.
01:24:53 Whip yourself and Jesus and get you some coffee or something, a little snack, and just relive it and get that word on the inside of you.
01:24:59 I mean, we got a bunch of scriptures that were shared, so make sure and go back, read the scripture, read it in another version, another version.
01:25:07 Listen, you have no excuse.
01:25:10 None whatsoever.
01:25:11 Give me your word.
01:25:12 Man, God is so good.
01:25:14 Well, listen, World Changers, we want to make sure that if you did not get an opportunity to give, we want to make sure that you have the opportunity right now.
01:25:21 We have a few different ways that you can participate in giving.
01:25:24 One of those, of course, you can simply text the word "World Changers," leave a space, and then your amount, and text that to 74483.
01:25:32 You can also call in your gifts to 866-477-7683.
01:25:37 You can also mail in your gifts to 2500 Burdett Road, College Park, Georgia, 30349, or, of course, online at worldchangers.org or creflodollarministries.org.
01:25:47 The fact is that we get to give.
01:25:50 It's not an obligation.
01:25:51 It's such an honor.
01:25:52 Like, man, God has been so good.
01:25:55 He is too good constantly, always, so why wouldn't I?
01:25:59 Why wouldn't I?
01:26:00 Why wouldn't I?
01:26:01 I get to.
01:26:02 And I get to trust him to do it.
01:26:03 And I get to trust him.
01:26:05 I'm excited.
01:26:06 I'm fired up on the inside.
01:26:08 I'm fired up.
01:26:09 I'm for real fired up.
01:26:10 Oh, wee.
01:26:11 No cap, as they say.
