Up The Garden Bath install new planters at Central Park

00:00 It's our most exciting project yet. We have put seven upcycled bathtub planters into Central Park, the crown jewel in parks in Peterborough.
00:15 We're planting them up with hardy perennials. The bath has been made by various groups around Peterborough. It's a real collaborative project to do this today.
00:24 Fantastic. So what sort of groups have been getting involved in this? Schools and things?
00:30 We have some educational facilities such as Thomas Deacon Academy. We have part of Day Opportunities which is part of City College, so adults with learning disabilities.
00:39 So yeah, it's been a real cacophony of companies that have got involved.
00:47 I think they're absolutely fantastic. What a wonderful idea. I am a gardener as such, but I think how they've done them all, I think they're going to look an asset to enhance the park and make it look a lot nicer.
