00:10 [News Anchor] Emil, as of now, we are experiencing normal Friday traffic here at SLEX. This means that the traffic is slow approaching San Pedro Southbound.
00:23 In our tour of North Tucson Expressway earlier, the traffic was still slow, only slowing down at Balintawak Tall Plaza.
00:30 [News Anchor] Did you really do that? [Raffy Diva] We did it on the way to the hospital.
00:34 We reached this family at Balintawak Tall Plaza while they were traveling towards Tarlac from Luzena. They learned from their experience last year after being caught in heavy traffic during Christmas.
00:46 [Raffy Diva] To avoid traffic. [News Anchor] What was your experience last year? [Raffy Diva] It was too much. [Raffy Diva] Too much traffic.
00:53 [News Anchor] So now, you are one day ahead? [Raffy Diva] Yes.
00:57 According to the head of SLEX, they expect to add 10% of the traffic to the north starting this Friday afternoon. But the problem is, they expect it to be next week.
01:09 Our expectation is that it will be more on Wednesday afternoon until night. And on Thursday, it will be early afternoon.
01:23 But starting today, they have stopped all construction in SLEX, even road closures to help the small number of motorists who will pass through here.
01:33 They also added tow trucks and personnel to help motorists.
01:38 Aside from toll gates, the cars and accidents that are being damaged are the main reason why the expressway is in a mess when the cars are being loaded.
01:48 We also implemented through our Safe Trip Mo Sagot Ko motorist assistance program free towing for Class 1 vehicles until the nearest exit.

02:06 RFID is used in the NLEX traffic for 80%. But the remaining 20% is still the reason why cars are being loaded in toll plazas.

02:56 They also added personnel to the SLEX cabins, especially in toll plazas, to help motorists.
03:07 A while ago, there was a small accident in the southbound lane of the SLEX in the Calamba area that caused the slowdown of the vehicles.
03:14 But within 5 minutes, the vehicles were removed.
03:18 That is what the expressway operators always remind us when the cars are being loaded, like this Friday and this Holy Week.
03:25 If there is an accident or a damaged vehicle, there will be heavy traffic.
03:30 So again, be careful when driving and make sure that your vehicle is in good condition and of course, the driver is also in good condition.
