Catherine (梁琤 Jade Leung Chang) is a disturbed and violent young lady. She is shot by local law enforcement in one of her escapades.
Catherine wakes up in a training facility and is taught to use weapons, combat, and is put through heavy endurance training. A micro chip is implanted in her brain to increase her physical strength and turn her into an elite, cold-blooded assassin.
Catherine becomes a CIA operative known as Erica, code-named "Black Cat".
Catherine performs very well on her assignments. However, she soon finds a soulmate and is caught between her love for him and her role with the agency.
