00:00 - Pet peeves are people that chew with their mouth open.
00:02 - People chewing with their mouth open.
00:04 - The salivation of your lips makes me sick
00:08 and want to vomit in my mouth.
00:09 - The chewing is gnawing at my brain.
00:13 (gentle music)
00:15 - I hate when people are rude to others for no reason.
00:20 I have literally ended friendships
00:21 because I went to a restaurant
00:23 and somebody was rude to the waitress for no reason at all.
00:26 Number two, I hate willful ignorance.
00:28 Google is free.
00:29 - Look it up or just shut up.
00:32 Not knowing things is okay,
00:34 but to be willfully ignorant about like people
00:37 or their cultures or just choosing not to engage
00:39 because you don't want to,
00:40 gag me with a spoon.
00:43 And then third, super random, I hate spitting.
00:45 It literally makes me want to vomit.
00:47 And not just like a little,
00:48 I have something in my mouth,
00:49 but that nasty like,
00:51 I can't deal with it.
00:53 - Unwashed things,
00:55 uncleaned places.
00:58 When we live at a certain place,
01:00 we need to keep the area clean.
01:02 And that gets on my nerves.
01:04 And when people are just being lazy and not doing stuff,
01:08 that drives me nuts.
01:10 So those are my biggest pet peeves.
01:12 - My pet peeve,
01:13 and it's like ironic that I'm about to play Survivors.
01:15 Like when people are opposer to themselves,
01:18 I think, yeah, this is a game where obviously
01:21 you gotta play into a character role or a dynamic.
01:24 But I think in life,
01:26 you gotta always be open to experience
01:28 and you gotta not always be so sure of yourselves.
01:31 'Cause it's like, the risk you take affects your journey.
01:35 And I think my pet peeve is people
01:37 who are always way too sure of themselves.
01:39 - My pet peeve, one of them is repetition
01:41 of the same thing over and over again,
01:43 which is ironic because I'm hard of hearing in my right ear.
01:45 So sometimes I need people to repeat things.
01:48 But like, if you just like willingly repeat stuff
01:50 all the time, I'm gonna look at you like you're crazy.
01:52 Like it's, I don't like that.
01:55 Or if you're like staring into my soul,
01:57 I'm from New York, we don't do that.
01:58 You got like two seconds, you park and pass, okay?
02:02 You drive, you park and pass.
02:03 You do not sit there and stare at me.
02:04 I will literally get so annoyed and I will hate your guts
02:07 until you like come and talk to me and make it better
02:08 and stop staring at me.
02:10 - Number one, mansplaining.
02:11 I'm not gonna explain it to you 'cause duh.
02:13 Number two, people who vote like
02:16 on down ballot issues randomly,
02:18 like no, people who are hard and soul
02:20 into these propositions and local races,
02:23 do your homework, it's just a person or an issue,
02:26 you can do it.
02:26 Three, I'm gonna go with restaurants
02:28 you list something as like a grilled cheese
02:30 but has like a ton of ingredients in it.
02:32 Like there's a huge difference to me
02:34 between a grilled cheese and a grilled sandwich with cheese
02:37 and it just seems disrespectful.
02:39 Number four, online orders that make you print something
02:43 to return them.
02:44 If I had a printer, I wouldn't be using an online store.
02:48 So they need to work on that.
02:50 Car analogies at tribal council.
02:52 They're lazy.
02:53 We could do better.
02:54 It's 46, come on, just choose a different automobile,
02:58 motorcycle, vehicle.
02:59 I don't care, not a car.
03:01 It's tripe, it's done with.
03:03 The word lisp, as someone who has one,
03:05 the S is rude.
03:06 People who touch your hair,
03:09 who are just like, oh, I love your hair
03:11 or ask what you put in it.
03:12 Like it's natural, it's not.
03:15 Mind your business.
03:16 - One of my pet peeves that I think
03:18 if it's not controlled soon enough,
03:20 it might get me voted out is people not carrying their weight
03:25 around camp.
03:26 We have a responsibility to do our job
03:29 every single day at camp.
03:30 And if there's someone that's slacking in that department,
03:33 I can't bite my tongue for too long, I might say something.
03:36 - Oh Lord.
03:36 So one of my biggest pet peeves is people chewing
03:39 with their mouth open.
03:41 It's gonna drive me insane once we like
03:43 officially start playing.
03:45 I just don't like the sound of like people chewing.
03:49 When I'm speaking and someone says,
03:53 I hate to cut you off and they start speaking.
03:56 It's like, they're not really sorry.
03:58 And they're really just blowing smoke.
04:01 It's kind of demeaning to my whole thought process
04:05 and what I'm even talking about.
04:07 But that's definitely one of my biggest pet peeves.
04:10 And I don't like when people do that.
04:12 - I'm someone who like wants to get to where he's going.
04:15 I have longer legs.
04:16 So I walk pretty fast.
04:17 But whenever there's a group of people that clump
04:20 on the sidewalk and walk slowly, it drives me insane.
04:24 Like either like get in a straight line
04:26 and take up one half or get out of the way
04:28 because like people are walking here, man.
04:29 This is not like social hour.
04:31 We're trying to get places.
04:32 It drives me insane.
04:34 I guess another pet peeve is people who are just apathetic.
04:38 You know, 'cause they're too afraid to try
04:40 for risk of failure.
04:41 I face this all the time with kids.
04:42 It drives me insane when someone is too afraid
04:45 to put themselves out there for risk of failure.
04:47 - There's so many.
04:48 Do you have time?
04:49 I have so many pet peeves.
04:50 Like the list can go on and on.
04:51 I think the biggest one for me is if you burp in my ear,
04:54 I will instantly vomit.
04:55 I already know there's someone who sleeps next to me
04:58 at Ponderosa who's been burping like nonstop.
05:01 And I'm just like holding my gags back.
05:03 So hopefully there's not too much of that.
05:06 Another pet peeve, I just don't like bodily sounds.
05:10 Like if you fart, burp, even sneezing
05:12 kind of annoys me sometimes.
05:14 So I guess I'm gonna be in for a wild ride on Survivor.
05:17 I hear people get really close.
05:19 - My pet peeve is pretty specific.
05:21 So any runner will tell you,
05:23 they have heard someone yell out of their car window,
05:26 "Run, Forrest, run!" to them about a million times
05:31 over the course of their running careers.
05:33 It is so annoying and so overdone
05:36 that it just makes me want to throw up.
05:38 Don't yell, "Run, Forrest, run!"
05:41 at the poor, unassuming runners.
05:43 Just let them go on.
05:44 Don't say anything.
05:45 Let them have their peace.
05:46 Just let them be.
05:48 - Pet peeves are people that chew with their mouth open,
05:50 people that smack their gum,
05:52 and people that drag their feet when they walk,
05:56 like in flip-flops.
05:57 I don't like lazy people.
05:58 And to me, that's a lazy way of walking.
06:02 And so pick up your damn feet, man.
06:05 - One thing is when people over-dramatize their message.
06:08 For instance, there was a season
06:09 when Carla was literally doing a soap op
06:11 with somebody, tears, crying, everything.
06:14 I couldn't hold my composure at that moment
06:16 'cause I already know what time it was.
06:18 - My pet peeve that has been on high since we've been here
06:22 is listening to people chew.
06:23 I feel like I'm in hell
06:25 because we can't talk to each other
06:26 and all there is is chewing.
06:28 Like, it's the only mouth sound I hear from people.
06:31 And because no one is talking, it's just amplified.
06:34 Like, the chewing is gnawing at my brain.
06:38 I'm not a big misogynist girl.
06:41 I have a really hard time getting along with men
06:42 who think they know more than me in a demeaning way.
06:45 If they think they know more than me
06:46 and they're helping me cool,
06:47 if they're trying to explain something to me,
06:50 I have a hard time with that.
06:52 - I don't like people making anyone feel
06:54 like they are less than them.
06:55 Like, "Oh, I'm better than you,"
06:57 or that kind of energy.
06:59 I don't like people smacking their lips real loud
07:03 when they're eating.
07:03 The salivation of your lips makes me sick
07:07 and want to vomit in my mouth.
07:08 Everything else, I'm pretty chill about.
07:10 I'm like, "Whatever, I'm in my own little zone.
07:11 I'm cool."
07:12 - I don't like it when people wear their shoes in my house.
07:14 I don't like it when somebody in my household
07:17 leaves the toilet seat up
07:18 and then I go to the bathroom at night
07:20 and sit on the naked toilet bowl.
07:22 It's really gross and cold and sticky.
07:23 I have a hard time dealing with people
07:26 that take themselves too seriously.
07:28 I can either make them feel very uncomfortable
07:31 or, like, make them mad just by talking.
07:35 So, they're kind of a bad peep,
07:37 but that's, like, a huge slot to the human population.
07:39 - My pet peeve, I've only got one of them.
07:42 I'm a pretty go-with-the-flow chick.
07:44 I hate inefficiency.
07:46 Waste of any kind.
07:48 I always say I'm a two-step chick.
07:50 If it takes three steps, I'm out.
07:52 I always want to find the quickest way
07:54 to get something done.
07:56 Number one, it's really bad for your mental health
07:58 to put all these roadblocks in front of you.
08:02 It's inefficient and it's really bad for your mental health.
08:04 As far as in the physical world,
08:06 it's really bad for the environment.
08:09 You know, to have waste.
08:11 And it's just something, I don't know if it's this fire
08:14 and fervor that I have inside of me for life
08:17 where I see waste and I think, "Ugh, what a waste!"
08:21 - Something about me that I cannot stand
08:24 would have to be people chewing gum.
08:27 Any sort of gum chewing,
08:28 even if you're not chewing it obnoxiously,
08:30 I'm like, "Oh my God, this..."
08:32 I would prefer you not to even open your mouth at all
08:35 when you chew your gum.
08:37 Please, and don't be near me either.
08:39 (whooshing)
