The United Autoworkers Union say Chattanooga, TN Volkswagen workers are seeking an election to unionize. The majority of workers at the plant have signed union cards, and have filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board. This comes as UAW president Shawn Fain has made it a focus for the union to organize foreign owned manufacturing facilities in the US. VW responded to the news saying the company will "fully suppport an NLRB vote".
