Jesse Lingard led the celebrations for FC Seoul as the midfielder earned his first win for his new side.

The midfielder helped the K League side to their first three points of the new season on Friday evening as they beat Jeju through goals from Stanislav Iljutcenko and Sung-Yueng Ki.

They had picked up one draw and one loss from their first two matches, failing to score a goal with the early signs for the season looking bleak for Lingard's new side.

But the three points will be welcomed with open arms, and the players celebrated with the fans, taking it in turns to lead the fist-pump celebrations in front of the home end.

The Seoul Instagram account shared a video of Lingard's turn in the celebrations, and the 31-seemed in good spirits as he enjoyed the moment with his teammates and supporters.

Lingard also joined in with his other team-mates' fist-pumps and will now prepare for his side's next game, when they take on Gangwon after the international break.

The former Manchester United man will hope to earn his first start for his new club after coming off the bench in the opening three matches of the season.

Lingard will hope to have found a more permanent home following his move to Asia in February, and he set an attendance record on his debut.

Before the transfer, he had not played a game of football since April having left Nottingham Forest for free at the end of the season.

He'd been without a club since June and not completed a full 90 minutes since August 2022.
