Quarterback Russell Wilson discusses why he chose to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

00:05 it's a place where hard work is everything.

00:09 I come from Richmond, Virginia, both my parents worked.

00:15 My dad worked overtime just so we could go, my dad was a lawyer but

00:18 also had to work two jobs at times just so I could go to private school,

00:22 just so I could make it and just go there and have a chance there.

00:25 And pay for my brother's school and football, basketball, and baseball,

00:29 all the things we were trying to do.

00:31 My sister as well, my mom was a ER nurse and worked late at night.

00:34 And she just, I used to see her come home early in the mornings and

00:39 take us to school.

00:39 And just, so I grew up with that, I grew up with hard work in front of me.

00:47 And that was something that I love my parents for.

00:49 My dad's no longer here, but he passed that on to me,

00:52 passed that on to my brother and my sister.

00:54 Hope I can pass that on to my kids.

00:55 I had four children, I got a few true nines, six,

01:00 when only one white spell that guy in, and I got three.

01:03 And I got a Mora who's three months.

01:06 And so to be able to show them what hard work was like,

01:09 to be able to also show them to take risks in life and challenges and goals and

01:15 write them out and put right out the vision and have a good two-two,

01:19 says right out the vision, planes and you can see it and run to it.

01:23 And so for me, it's writing it out every day,

01:26 believe in that, speaking life in every situation.

01:29 That's who I am.

01:29 I just believe that hard work pays off.

01:33 And so it was cool to be around.

01:35 And then the best part is they love sports.

01:38 I was gonna try to go to the hockey game last night,

01:40 couldn't make it to the dinner.

01:42 But I love sports, I love watching the culture of sports and

01:46 how it brings people together.

01:48 So that was cool too.
