"I was skiing in NM at Taos for the weekend and had taken a few laps on the chairlift at the top of the mountain," the filmer, Jeremy, revealed to WooGlobe. "On my fourth lap, I ran into hidden rocks underneath the snow and slammed into them, breaking my pelvis."
The crash isn't just a rookie mistake; it occurred after Jeremy veered slightly left to avoid the rocks, unaware that more were concealed under the snow.
He deemed it the worst crash of his life and shared that he'd have to sit out the entire ski season because of it.
