00:53 You see the cars driving behind me on right now down in southwest denver where right now we're sitting at about 14 inches of snow
00:59 In this spot, but it has been a nasty morning nasty day afternoon all parts of the day here across the metro area
01:06 wrecks all over the place despite temperatures right about freezing that have allowed the roads to remain wet huge huge shout out
01:14 To the cdot crews that have been working these roads all day
01:17 They have been wet but they still have been treacherous and you see some of that here

01:28 You showed last hour
01:29 We saw that snow plow that got stuck in some of the snow
01:32 Despite the roads just remaining a little on the wet side the slush that's on the roads
01:36 This is a heavy wet gripping snow and when you get your tires stuck in that it is going to take you for a ride
01:41 And that has been the case with many drivers all over the place
01:44 Including those that are coming up here for spring break who are dealing with the fact that in colorado
01:49 Sometimes spring break means a little bit of winter driving
01:52 i've been stuck here about an hour somebody try to pull that would try to pull us out, but
01:57 Ain't going no good. I got a two-wheel drive. Um

02:21 And will likely do so through friday travel tonight's going to be rough
02:25 Especially as things get colder and these roads refreeze melissa
