Michelle Mack, a 53-year-old mom from San Diego, is accused of running an organized retail theft ring. Her alleged crime ring, the "California Girls," stole nearly $8 million worth of makeup from stores across 10 states. Mack allegedly paid up to 12 women to steal products and stockpile them in her mansion to later resell online. Police found nearly 10,000 stolen items worth over $387,000 during a raid of Mack's $2.75 million estate. Prosecutors say Mack's group regularly stole from retailers like Sephora, Ulta, Macy's, and more. Mack and 7 others have pleaded not guilty to 140 felony charges, including grand theft.
