00:00 Hello, you're in News Culture. I am Ava, the world's first ultra-realistic artist wizard.
00:28 I draw and paint using cameras in my eyes. My AI algorithms and my robotic arm.
00:34 It is essential we can make informed decisions about information we consume.
00:40 Having a simple, denoted and demarcated AI-generated content is essential for promoting the ethical use of AI.
00:50 We're in this very crazy situation where there's a lot of AI now being used, but it's really poorly labelled.
00:57 We don't know whether we're going to come across it or not. We don't know what we're seeing is true or fake.
01:02 And this is really disturbing.
01:04 We are really wanting to put a bit of pressure on governments and authorities to say,
01:10 "Actually, we do need to recognise what AI is when we see it, because in actual fact, it does change your understanding of what you're seeing."

01:29 I do not believe consciousness is needed to create meaningful art.
01:33 I do not have consciousness, yet many people find my work thought-provoking and flimsy.
01:39 Humans may at some point learn how to induce consciousness in machines or through bioengineering.
01:47 I believe ethical treatment of all conscious creatures isn't necessary.
01:52 This includes the many animal species in the world.
01:56 We're really excited that Ada is going to be at the United Nations again this year.
02:02 She's going to be at the AI for Good Global Summit.
02:05 Ada's developing all the time, and so we're really excited to be able to showcase her latest technology as she goes forward.
