Polish President urges NATO to boost defense spending

During a joint White House visit with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, President Andrzej Duda urges NATO allies to raise defense spending to 3 percent of GDP, citing Russia's aggressive stance and ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Poland spends 4 percent of its GDP on defense, twice the current NATO target of 2 percent. Duda's call comes as Poland celebrates 25 years in the transatlantic military alliance, symbolizing its shift away from Moscow's influence after years of communist rule.
