00:00:56 Started in Goodwater, Alabama.
00:00:59 Transitioned to Florida where I went to JUCO.
00:01:02 Then made my way to Kentucky
00:01:04 where I finished school my last two years.
00:01:07 Graduated from Warhead State.
00:01:09 Went overseas my first year, played in France for six,
00:01:13 seven months, came back to the U.S.,
00:01:15 played in New York for the end of that season.
00:01:20 And then after my first season, I went to Canada,
00:01:23 played in London.
00:01:25 And then after that season, I tried out for the Raptors
00:01:28 in 905 in the G League.
00:01:30 Got cut, so I ended up going back to London.
00:01:34 Then played in the summer three years.
00:01:37 Went to Israel, was supposed to go to Poland.
00:01:41 And then after that, ended up in the G League.
00:01:43 And now I'm pretty much going back and forth
00:01:45 between the G and the NBA.
00:01:47 Damn, that's crazy.

00:03:24 And pretty much the NBA is predicated on shooting threes
00:03:27 and getting layups now.
00:03:28 Mid-range is not really what everybody want to shoot.
00:03:30 But everybody know that's my game.
00:03:32 I was about to say, that's your bread and butter.

00:03:35 So when I went in there and that's what they were preaching,
00:03:37 I'm like, well, this ain't going to be a good situation for me
00:03:39 anyway because I like to shoot mid-range.
00:03:41 But the way that they broke down defense
00:03:43 and broke down offense and what they're trying
00:03:46 to do within their system.
00:03:48 And I went to see the whole analytics side of it.
00:03:52 They got a board where they chart everything.
00:03:54 How many layups we getting in a quarter,
00:03:56 how many threes we getting up in a game.
00:03:59 So seeing that, it kind of changed my perspective.
00:04:01 OK, now I probably do need to shoot more threes,
00:04:04 depending on who I'm working out with.
00:04:06 Because if I'm working out with the Warriors,
00:04:07 then obviously they want you to shoot more threes.
00:04:09 Yeah, get them up.
00:04:10 So I changed my whole perspective.
00:04:12 But I got in front of the head coaches
00:04:14 instead of I got in front of the assistants.
00:04:17 The first time I worked out with the Raptors,
00:04:19 I was in front of the assistants.
00:04:20 And they weren't really telling me
00:04:22 what the head coaches were telling me when
00:04:24 I worked out with the Clippers.
00:04:25 So they were telling me, hey, play a game.
00:04:27 Do what you do.
00:04:28 You shoot what you want to.
00:04:30 You play how you play.
00:04:31 When I worked out with the Raptors, it was none of that.
00:04:34 You just went in there for training camp
00:04:35 and they basically just pushing you through training camp.
00:04:38 So once I got to the part where I worked out with the Clippers,
00:04:41 it was different because they just let me hoop.
00:04:44 I always said that, man.
00:04:45 Letting the dog off the leash is like the best thing
00:04:48 you can do for a hooper because then--
