00:01:34 You may be seated in the presence of the Lord.
00:01:38 We've been standing quite some time.
00:01:43 I'm going to be bringing this word and I won't do it all because we've been here worshipping and I want to get you out in a decent time.
00:01:53 But 2 Kings chapter 25 verse 1 through 7 and you can read it all at home when you get a chance to.
00:02:05 I'm going to paraphrase some of it real quickly.
00:02:09 The Bible says it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign in the tenth month.
00:02:14 In the tenth day of the month that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came.
00:02:18 He and all of his hosts against Jerusalem and pitched against it and they built forts against it round about.
00:02:27 And the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
00:02:32 And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city and there was no bread for the people.
00:02:41 And the city was broken up and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls.
00:02:50 Let me tell you God always leaves an opening.
00:02:56 I don't care how bad it look right now just touch your neighbor and say there's an opening in that wall.
00:03:06 Which is by the king's garden now the Chaldees were against the city round about.
00:03:11 And the king went the way toward the plain and the army of the Chaldees pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho.
00:03:20 And all his army were scattered from him.
00:03:25 So they took the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon.
00:03:30 And the Bible says that they pronounced judgment over him and they slew the sons.
00:03:36 They killed him right before his eyes and then put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him with feathers of brass and carried him to Babylon.
00:03:51 What you have just witnessed is God changing everything around.
00:04:01 That the prey became the hunter.
00:04:06 That the peasant defeated the king.
00:04:11 The people with no army defeated the man who had a big army.
00:04:18 And they only did it not with horses not with chariots.
00:04:24 They had one thing that guarantees every one of you watching me and everybody in this building the victory in every circumstance.
00:04:33 And you must gain it as quickly as possible.
00:04:37 The Lord told me to talk about today the breakout spirit.
00:04:44 You've got to get a spirit that even when your money is locked up, even when your relationship is in trouble,
00:04:55 you've got to have the kind of spirit that can get out of trouble no matter what circumstance you're in.
00:05:01 Who am I preaching to today?
00:05:04 High five three people and tell them a breakout spirit.
00:05:07 You may be seated in the presence of the Lord.
00:05:15 Let's breakout then.
00:05:21 So our text today is the final scene in a two-part series.
00:05:27 Let me give you just about five minutes worth of background and then we'll get into the message and we'll be done.
00:05:34 The scene of first King records the death of Israel's greatest King.
00:05:39 This particular King went from a little shepherd boy forgotten by his father,
00:05:44 nearly assassinated by his mentor to the conqueror of Jerusalem.
00:05:50 You know what his name is?
00:05:52 David.
00:05:53 David.
00:05:54 He's the king.
00:05:55 And if you read his entire story, you'll know through his life.
00:06:01 David, we talk about when he was anointed by the prophet.
00:06:06 But for some of you all, you may know this, but for those of you all who are learning like me,
00:06:11 did you know that David was actually anointed three times?
00:06:16 Yeah, so the first time that we most know about or we talk about is when Samuel came to the house of Jesse.
00:06:24 And just shake your head if you're with me so far.
00:06:26 He came to the house of Jesse.
00:06:28 He was looking for a king and his daddy had left him in the field,
00:06:32 but he brought all his other sons out and said, "Pick one of these."
00:06:36 And the prophet didn't see anything in David, so he looked--his father didn't see anything in David,
00:06:42 so he overlooked it some.
00:06:43 The prophet came and said, "None of the choices that you gave me match with my spirit.
00:06:51 God sent me here looking for something specific, and I haven't found it in what you presented.
00:06:56 Do you have another son?"
00:06:57 He said, "Yeah, I got one out in the field."
00:06:58 He said, "Show him to me."
00:06:59 He went in the field, and he said, "That's the one."
00:07:02 I'm just telling you right now, some of you all who are going to be picked, nobody knows it yet.
00:07:08 Nobody knows it yet.
00:07:12 The next manager, nobody knows it yet.
00:07:14 You're the next supervisor.
00:07:15 Nobody knows it yet.
00:07:16 Why?
00:07:17 Because you're somewhere out in the field, somewhere making minimum wage,
00:07:20 somewhere struggling, barely making it, somewhere on a fixed income,
00:07:23 somewhere without an education, somewhere with a GED, somewhere just struggling.
00:07:28 But God says, "I don't care where you started because it ain't where you started.
00:07:35 It's where you're going to finish."
00:07:37 So that's the anointing that most of us know about.
00:07:40 Remember, Saul was anointed by Samuel out of a flask.
00:07:45 David was anointed out of a horn, right?
00:07:49 Saul was the king that the people chose.
00:07:52 David was the king that God chose.
00:07:54 A flask, man-made object.
00:07:57 So the reason why Saul was anointed out of a flask, a man-made object,
00:08:02 is because God says, "You made them, you anoint them."
00:08:08 Now, the horn comes from an animal.
00:08:11 Only God can create an animal.
00:08:13 So the reason why God allows the oil to fall from the horn on to David is because God said,
00:08:20 "I called them, I'll anoint them, and you can't use a man-made object to anoint my decision."
00:08:30 Does that make sense?
00:08:31 So that's his first anointing.
00:08:33 But he has another anointing.
00:08:35 After he becomes the king or anointed as king, God doesn't give him the whole kingdom.
00:08:41 For seven years, he was only the king over Judah.
00:08:45 That was his second anointing.
00:08:47 After the seven years, then God gave him Jerusalem.
00:08:51 That was the third anointing.
00:08:53 Let me just talk for about 30 seconds right up and through here.
00:08:57 See, when God gives most of us Judah, we think we have everything he has to offer.
00:09:03 But if you stay faithful, God says, "What I've just given you now is only going to get you by for seven years.
00:09:13 What I have for you next will take you for the rest of your life."
00:09:17 I don't even know who this is for, but you ain't seen big yet.
00:09:25 Just tell your neighbor, say, "You ain't seen big yet.
00:09:28 You don't even know what a real blessing is yet.
00:09:30 That stuff you got right there is an appetizer.
00:09:32 You haven't even had the meal.
00:09:34 That's just bread and lettuce.
00:09:36 You haven't even had the steak.
00:09:38 That's just an appetizer.
00:09:39 That's just to hold you over until the meal gets to the table.
00:09:43 That job you got is an appetizer.
00:09:45 Come on.
00:09:46 That paycheck you got is an appetizer.
00:09:48 It ain't nothing but egg rolls.
00:09:50 You don't have what God has for you yet.
00:09:53 It's about to be bigger than you've ever imagined in your life.
00:10:03 That ain't your dream, Carl.
00:10:04 You better raise your dreams.
00:10:07 You ain't in your dream house yet.
00:10:09 Are you serious?
00:10:10 You haven't done enough to get in your dream house yet.
00:10:13 It was only big because of how small you started.
00:10:17 But now that you got it, now you recognize how easy it was,
00:10:21 and God is about to do something on another level.
00:10:24 That's your rent house.
00:10:25 That's your starter house.
00:10:27 That's your beginning season.
00:10:29 That ain't where you're going to end up.
00:10:33 But God says I got to give you a breakout spirit because when the enemy comes in
00:10:38 like a flood, you got it, the Lord will raise up.
00:10:43 Somebody shout, "Lord, I'm raising my standards."
00:10:46 Don't y'all make me start right there because some of y'all need to raise
00:10:49 your standard.
00:10:50 That ain't even in my sermon.
00:10:51 Just high-five three people and say, "I'm raising my standard.
00:10:54 I'm a friend up.
00:10:56 I'm a date up.
00:10:57 I'm a--" I got to let you go.
00:11:04 Somebody challenged me over here and said, "Y'all ain't almost done,
00:11:06 so I got to get you out of here."
00:11:09 David had three anointings.
00:11:11 I just wanted to let you know that you did all that dreaming,
00:11:16 you did all that writing in your little book.
00:11:21 You know, the one that got the little stretchy thing that you put a little pen
00:11:24 in.
00:11:25 You know, the book that you got in your little purse that you take out.
00:11:28 You know, maybe it's in your little phone and you got your notes,
00:11:32 or maybe you got Post-it notes all over the house,
00:11:35 or maybe you done wrote in lipstick on the mirror,
00:11:38 or maybe you done wrote in permanent marker on something.
00:11:43 That's the smallest you're ever going to be.
00:11:50 And I can tell you the truth.
00:11:52 You wrote all of those dreams, they still wasn't big enough.
00:11:58 You still on your first anointing.
00:12:00 Here you are thinking you made it to the promised land.
00:12:02 Here you are thinking, "Oh, I finally made it.
00:12:05 I finally got the job.
00:12:07 I finally--they finally called me back.
00:12:10 I finally got the loan."
00:12:12 And this is just your first anointing.
00:12:18 You haven't even seen Judah.
00:12:21 God knows you haven't even been to Jerusalem.
00:12:25 David's tenure as king, this is what he did.
00:12:28 First of all, he defeated the Philistines.
00:12:31 He extended the borders of the kingdom geographically,
00:12:35 captured new cities, took Jerusalem back from the Jebusites,
00:12:38 and made Jerusalem the capital city.
00:12:41 Now, all of this happens, and then the Bible says that David gets old.
00:12:50 Let me just tell everybody in here who's alive,
00:12:55 you are going to get old.
00:13:06 Look at me, young people.
00:13:10 Because young people, they got all kind of names for old people,
00:13:13 old heads.
00:13:15 They got all kind of names.
00:13:16 But, baby, let me tell you something.
00:13:18 There is a benefit to waking up every morning.
00:13:27 You're going to lose your hair one day, and if you don't, it's going to be gray.
00:13:32 It's going to get thin.
00:13:35 Yeah.
00:13:37 It has?
00:13:38 Yes, ma'am, I understand.
00:13:42 You're going to get old.
00:13:46 The question is, is will you be prepared when you do?
00:13:52 Or would you have spent all of your money looking young that you'll get old
00:14:00 and have to borrow, beg, and steal?
00:14:03 The Africans have a proverb that you have to make sure that your young man
00:14:08 feeds your old man.
00:14:12 This ain't a part of the sermon, but you need to be saving your money.
00:14:16 You need to start a retirement plan while you are not in retirement age.
00:14:21 You need to get you some IRAs, and you need to get you some mutual funds.
00:14:24 You need to do something.
00:14:26 And if you start early, you can start small.
00:14:29 But you need to do something because David shows us that even when you're
00:14:32 anointed once, twice, three times, you still going to get old.
00:14:37 The Bible says that he got old and his eyes grew dim, and all of a sudden,
00:14:43 look at this, the king of Israel does like all of us who leaves earth.
00:14:47 He said, "He breathes his last breath, and then it's over.
00:14:56 He is no more."
00:14:58 But he's been so great, they don't believe he's dead.
00:15:00 So one of the armor bearers said, "Let's find out if he's really dead."
00:15:08 I can tell who read the Bible and who don't because everybody who read,
00:15:11 you all know where I'm going.
00:15:13 They said, "Let's find out if he's really dead."
00:15:15 So how are we going to find out?
00:15:17 A CAT scan?
00:15:18 Nope, we don't got one.
00:15:19 How are we going to find out?
00:15:20 MRI?
00:15:21 Nope, we don't have one.
00:15:22 How about an ultrasound?
00:15:24 Nope.
00:15:25 Well, what's the plan?
00:15:26 Go get a virgin.
00:15:28 The Bible says they went and got a virgin and laid her in the bed next to David.
00:15:34 And the Bible says that David did not touch her.
00:15:37 And then they said, "All hail the king is dead," because David liked women so much
00:15:43 that if he was dying, he'd wake up to get a woman.
00:15:48 Oh, you all don't know.
00:15:49 See, I don't know why you all sitting up here acting like you any different.
00:15:51 I know you in church, but you got something that'll make you come out of dead.
00:15:56 Come on.
00:15:58 You got something that'll make you come out of character too.
00:16:01 You being here doing all this, let the right person call you in that parking lot.
00:16:04 Your response ain't going to be, "Hallelujah."
00:16:06 It's going to be, "Where at?"
00:16:12 I can't stand you all when you all act like that.
00:16:14 I don't like it.
00:16:18 Don't act like you ain't never had a great experience in church and you worshiped
00:16:21 and then left and done something you ain't supposed to do and you cried there just the way you did in church.
00:16:25 Just, "Oh, Jesus.
00:16:28 I'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody."
00:16:46 He's dead.
00:16:50 But the greatest thing about living your life right is you understand you prepare for leaving
00:16:54 before you leave.
00:16:57 See, a wise man leaves an inheritance.
00:16:59 Come here.
00:17:01 For his children's children.
00:17:02 See, you have to live like you won't always be here.
00:17:07 David is preparing to leave.
00:17:09 And who succeeds him?
00:17:12 His son, Solomon.
00:17:16 Solomon.
00:17:17 Now, Solomon got his daddy's genes because Solomon has 700 wives and 300 concubines.
00:17:27 My Lord is right.
00:17:36 Lord have mercy.
00:17:40 The Bible says 1 Kings documents the death of the first king.
00:17:45 I told you two-part series.
00:17:47 2 Kings documents the reign of his son Solomon and the decline of the division of Israel.
00:17:52 Now, it did not decline because Solomon wasn't a great king.
00:17:57 Listen to me.
00:17:58 It did not decline because Solomon didn't have leadership skills.
00:18:03 Israel did not decline because Solomon was some abhorrent, terribly moral individual.
00:18:12 That is not the reason the kingdom fell.
00:18:15 If you study the scripture, you will find out.
00:18:18 Listen to me.
00:18:19 What month are we in?
00:18:21 The reason why the kingdom began to decline after David died is not because Solomon has 700 wives and 300 concubines.
00:18:30 See, y'all don't really know God.
00:18:33 The reason why the kingdom declined is because their worship was pointed in the wrong direction.
00:18:42 I got the Bible.
00:18:43 I got the Bible.
00:18:44 It's on my side.
00:18:46 It declined because Israel didn't know who to worship.
00:18:49 They didn't know whether they should be worshiping Baal.
00:18:51 They didn't know whether they should be worshiping idols.
00:18:54 They didn't know what they should be worshiping.
00:18:56 And once they turned their worship from God, God turned his back on them.
00:19:02 Y'all not listening to me today.
00:19:04 Are you here with me?
00:19:05 Now, yes, David was morally insufficient.
00:19:09 Yes, David got a man killed so that he could sleep with his bride and got her killed to cover up the story.
00:19:16 Yes, David did all kinds of stuff.
00:19:20 David killed his kids.
00:19:22 He killed his--he killed relatives.
00:19:25 He killed anybody who would get in the way of his plan.
00:19:30 But the reason why the Scripture refers to David as a man after God's own heart is because he said stuff like this.
00:19:41 The Lord is my light and my salvation.
00:19:46 Whom shall I fear?
00:19:48 The Lord is the strength of my life.
00:19:50 Whom shall I be afraid?
00:19:52 When evil men come upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell, and though a host shall encamp around.
00:20:02 He said things like this.
00:20:04 The Lord is my shepherd.
00:20:06 I shall not want him making me to lie down and drink passion.
00:20:11 He leads me beside the still waters.
00:20:14 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.
00:20:20 Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
00:20:22 Thou anointest my head.
00:20:24 He prepares a table.
00:20:28 David would say stuff like, "Created me a clean heart."
00:20:32 Help me, Holy Ghost.
00:20:33 "And renewing me a right spirit."
00:20:36 The reason why David was God's favorite king is not because he was sinless.
00:20:42 It was because he was a worshiper.
00:20:46 Oh, I wish I could get about 200 people.
00:20:51 I wish I would get somebody to quote David from the 34th number of the psalm.
00:20:55 I will bless the Lord at all times.
00:20:58 What does that mean?
00:20:59 I'll bless him when I'm in sin.
00:21:01 I'll bless him when I'm in debt.
00:21:03 I'll bless him when I'm at--I will bless the Lord at all times.
00:21:08 And his praise shall be to me.
00:21:15 Can I help you?
00:21:17 You can survive anything when your worship is pointed in the right direction.
00:21:28 But what the church has done is many of us have become Pharisees and Sadducees,
00:21:39 being the more prognosticators of sin, casting stones when we too have fallen short--
00:21:50 come on, church--of the glory of God.
00:21:54 And God says, "I died on the cross for that part, but I rose to hear this part,
00:22:02 'Let everything that has breath.'"
00:22:07 Come on, somebody, lift up your head.
00:22:11 Oh, ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors.
00:22:18 And when you lift up your head, the King of glory shall come in.
00:22:25 And for those of y'all who got the question, "Who is this King of glory?"
00:22:31 Let me identify him, the Lord God, strong in battle.
00:22:38 I want to see if I can get 38 people who will lift up your head and lift up a praise.
00:22:51 Just whisper to everybody in your session, "I've come to worship him."
00:22:56 I've come to worship him. I've come to worship him. I've come to worship him.
00:23:01 Now, I do have that no good part of me that if you push me, I might turn the other way,
00:23:06 but my intention is to worship him.
00:23:10 Do I have any worshipers online? Do I have any worshipers in the building?
00:23:14 Listen, I didn't say performers.
00:23:21 I said worshipers.
00:23:23 What do I mean by performers? You only do it when you get here?

00:24:31 And I'm not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation.

00:24:43 Most of us want to date God when it's convenient for us.
00:24:48 But God don't like cheap one night stands.
00:24:51 God says either we're going to be in this or we're not going to be in this.

00:25:13 Some of you are going to be locked up until you get out of here.
00:25:17 But there are some people in here, they made up their mind.

00:25:28 Who is that word for?
00:25:30 Literally, and I'm going to have to look this up, I don't know what dense tissue means.

00:25:41 The Lord gave me the term right while I was standing up there.

00:25:46 At the time I said it, somebody on our staff text my wife and said,
00:25:52 I have an emergency appointment tomorrow because I have dense tissue.
00:26:01 But let me tell you what's going to happen when you get there.
00:26:11 Just before you break down, I'm telling you what you're going to do.
00:26:15 You're going to break out.
00:26:17 I need about 400 people to shout like this, "Your testimony.
00:26:24 I have a breakout spirit."
00:26:31 And no weapon pwned against you shall prosper.
00:26:38 Before you sit down, let me give you another thing to shout about.
00:26:53 The Bible says that the military offensive against Israel and the capture of Jerusalem,
00:27:02 verse 1 says, "It happened on the 10th day of the 10th month."
00:27:08 Then the Lord started to show me the number 10.
00:27:15 What's tithing?
00:27:18 How many commandments?
00:27:21 How many plagues did God send on Egypt?
00:27:27 God's number, or one of his numbers is 10.
00:27:30 Let me tell you what 10 means.
00:27:32 10 is the number of divine order.
00:27:42 Who came to learn something today?
00:27:44 I'm about to tell you what the enemy's, one of his number one attacks on people
00:27:51 who are getting ready to take over.
00:27:54 How many of y'all feel like you just right?
00:27:56 I mean you just, I mean you're right there.
00:28:01 And every time you're about to get over that hump, here comes something.
00:28:05 God help me in this place.
00:28:11 What did the enemy go into the Garden of Eden to do?
00:28:17 Mess up the order.
00:28:19 God says you can have any but the one in the center, you cannot.
00:28:23 What does the enemy come in?
00:28:24 Messes up the order.
00:28:25 You can have that one.
00:28:27 Because he always comes in to do what?
00:28:30 Mess up the order.
00:28:32 What did he attempt to do when Jesus was in the wilderness?
00:28:35 Mess up the order.
00:28:37 What did he try to do with Joseph's life?
00:28:39 Throw him in the pit.
00:28:42 Go to Potiphar's house.
00:28:44 Go in the prison.
00:28:46 Ultimately he was going to the palace, but he didn't want him to get there.
00:28:50 Why?
00:28:51 Because he was trying to mess up.
00:28:53 He was trying to help somebody in this place today.
00:28:55 What the enemy is trying to do is disturb the divine sequence of your life.
00:29:04 So what he wants to do is depress you in between the pit and the palace.
00:29:10 So you'll give up on hope.
00:29:14 Because where you are going is a lot bigger than where you are.
00:29:22 If you get depressed where you are and give up where you are,
00:29:27 you're never going to get where God is pulling you to.
00:29:31 So God says, "I have come to put things back in place and let the devil know what he meant for evil.
00:29:42 I actually meant for good."
00:29:45 Here is the word of the Lord.
00:29:47 God is about to restore the divine order of your life.
00:29:55 You didn't hear what I said.
00:29:57 And the reason why you don't shout is because you don't know what your mama prayed for.
00:30:02 You don't know what your daddy prayed for.
00:30:05 How many of y'all got a praying grandmama?
00:30:07 You don't know what she prayed for, but let me tell you what she prayed for.
00:30:11 She said, "Lord, don't let no hurt, harm, or danger come to him."
00:30:14 She said, "Lord, satisfy him with long life."
00:30:16 I'm telling you what your mama said.
00:30:18 She said, "Lord, bless their body.
00:30:20 Make sure that they don't get sick.
00:30:22 Let cancer skip a generation."
00:30:24 And then the devil comes and tries to mess that up.
00:30:27 And then God says, "No, no, no, no.
00:30:29 I'm the one that stands on time.
00:30:32 I'm the one that's in charge of sequence."
00:30:35 And God says, "I'm restoring the order."
00:30:40 Somebody shout, "Order."
00:30:42 Say it again. Shout, "Order."
00:30:44 Say it again. Shout, "Order."
00:30:46 Listen, I know you're afraid to go forward
00:30:49 because you're always anticipating falling back.
00:30:52 How many people here are going to be honest?
00:30:54 You're afraid to succeed sometimes
00:30:56 because it might be too good to be true.
00:31:01 No, no, no. God says you're going to go from the field
00:31:05 to the anointed, to Judah, to Jerusalem.
00:31:10 And nobody's going to be able to disrupt
00:31:13 the divine order I have set for your life
00:31:17 so you can rest assured that today
00:31:20 is the lowest you will ever be.
00:31:25 Can I say it this way?
00:31:27 No weapon that has been formed against you
00:31:31 or your family is going to prosper.
00:31:35 You are the head and not the tail.
00:31:39 Look at how the devil tries to mess up that order.
00:31:41 He wants you to believe you're the tail and not the head.
00:31:43 God says, "I set divine order."
00:31:45 You are the head, not the tail.
00:31:47 You are above, never beneath.
00:31:50 You are the lender, not the borrower.
00:31:52 Somebody shout, "Order."
00:31:59 Order. Order.
00:32:04 You're going to be good.

00:32:50 have ever been in a situation that you thought
00:32:52 would be forever? It ended.
00:32:55 And where you are is better than what you lost.
00:33:04 So what it shows us is sometimes we mess up the order
00:33:08 by thinking we are in his permissive will,
00:33:10 our divine will, when we are in his permissive will.
00:33:13 You know God has more than one will.
00:33:16 He has more than one will.
00:33:17 God has a divine will.
00:33:19 That's the one that if you follow him,
00:33:21 it will lead you to all righteousness.
00:33:23 But there's also a permissive will.
00:33:25 What is the permissive will of God?
00:33:26 He says, "I will permit you to do whatever you want to do."
00:33:31 I will permit it.
00:33:32 It doesn't mean I'm not sovereign,
00:33:33 but it also means I'm not a dictator
00:33:36 because I need to be chosen by faith, not by...
00:33:44 God wants to be chosen by faith,
00:33:46 for we walk by faith and not by what?
00:33:48 So he wants you to choose him.
00:33:50 If he forces you to believe,
00:33:51 then he has to force everybody to believe.
00:33:54 So God gives us volition,
00:33:55 which means he gives us the opportunity to choose him,
00:33:58 and when we choose him by faith,
00:34:01 then he moves us from glory to glory
00:34:03 in the divine will of God,
00:34:05 and I promise you that the order that God has for your life
00:34:09 is better than the one you have for you.
00:34:18 Let me tell you what happens
00:34:19 when you are relentless.
00:34:22 The Bible says that Nebuchadnezzar,
00:34:24 seeing how relentless they were, watch what he does.
00:34:27 He builds, I want you to imagine this,
00:34:29 he builds a wall around them.
00:34:33 Just imagine me right now.
00:34:34 What I'm doing is I'm building a wall.
00:34:36 Israel is at home.
00:34:39 Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonians,
00:34:42 they build a wall around them.
00:34:47 Now, what happens when the enemy builds a wall around you?
00:34:52 You're stuck inside,
00:34:54 and what happens when you get stuck inside?
00:34:58 The stuff that's in can't get out,
00:35:02 but the stuff that's out can't get in.
00:35:06 So you remember when I read,
00:35:07 when the Bible says the famine set in?
00:35:09 The reason why the famine set in
00:35:11 is because when the enemy builds a wall around you,
00:35:14 he's trying to starve you.

00:35:21 about saving and all that kind of stuff earlier?
00:35:23 Because when the enemy will build a wall around you,
00:35:26 for a season, you're going to have to survive
00:35:28 off of what you saved.
00:35:35 And if you haven't, if you not prayed up,
00:35:42 if you don't know how to worship
00:35:43 when you don't have stuff,
00:35:46 if you don't know how to be happy
00:35:48 even when you don't have a relationship,
00:35:52 if you don't know how to like yourself
00:35:54 unless somebody else like you,
00:35:57 if you don't think you pretty
00:35:59 because you don't have makeup,
00:36:01 come on church,
00:36:03 if you don't think that you less of a man
00:36:05 because you don't drive an Escalade,
00:36:07 if you don't have any confidence,
00:36:09 if you don't have any resources,
00:36:11 if you don't have,
00:36:13 then when the enemy builds a wall,
00:36:15 you're going to starve
00:36:17 because you have been built yourself up.
00:36:22 He built a wall around him,
00:36:23 wouldn't let any food in,
00:36:25 and the only reason why they lived
00:36:26 is because they had some leftovers.
00:36:33 The only reason they lived
00:36:35 is because when the Bible was taken,
00:36:37 they still had the word hidden.

00:36:46 See, there's going to come a time in your life
00:36:50 where the stuff is going to stop

00:38:31 and then all of a sudden some shoes you want pop up,

00:38:35 No, it's called an algorithm.
00:38:40 Look at God.
00:38:42 I was just looking for them.
00:38:44 This must be a sign.
00:38:46 It's a trap.
00:38:53 I'm going to say it, and I'm going to say it proudly.
00:38:56 Fox News is a wall.
00:39:00 CNN is a wall.
00:39:03 MSNBC is a wall.
00:39:07 All of it is designed for you to sit in the middle of it
00:39:10 and believe the hyperbole that's coming from a perspective,
00:39:15 and although they all promote fairness,
00:39:19 fairness according to who?
00:39:24 And so you're looking at all of the stuff
00:39:27 that's going on in the world right now,
00:39:30 and you've created an opinion about the future
00:39:35 without all of the facts.
00:39:38 Man, see, this is why it's hard to lead people
00:39:41 because any time you talk substance,
00:39:43 they tune out until the next miracle.
00:39:50 But you live in a city
00:39:53 where the education system is held hostage,
00:39:59 but you're trying to go to the Galleria.
00:40:03 You live in a city where more African Americans
00:40:07 are going to be more affluent in the next 10 years
00:40:10 than any other city in the United States of America,
00:40:13 but you want to be cute.
00:40:16 In the next decade,
00:40:18 there are going to be more millionaires popping up
00:40:21 out of Third Ward, Fifth Ward, Midtown, Uptown,
00:40:25 Humboldt, Woodlands, Sugar Land.
00:40:27 You better forget all about all of that other stuff,
00:40:30 and you better get you a breakout spirit
00:40:32 because there's a shift coming.
00:40:38 If you're going to open that nail shop,
00:40:40 you better open it this year.
00:40:42 If you're going to start that daycare,

00:40:46 because the season of breakout is upon us.

00:52:23 So you have to learn to tell yourself no so your children can learn the word no too.

00:52:43 You are who you are because of your parents telling you no on some stuff.
00:52:48 And if you want to pass down something, pass down that morality that some things you have

00:53:25 Now a brand new car is $32,000 at a minimum.

00:57:42 That was God leaving a crack because the enemy has to get permission for the type of wall he can build against you.
00:57:52 That's why God will come out and say, "He has to come to me and he has to ask me for dimensions.

00:58:00 But the reason why God can say this through the prophet Isaiah is because he gives dimensions.
00:58:04 No weapon formed against you will be able to prosper.
00:58:07 Why? Because God's going to give them permission to build the weapon, but he's also going to leave a slice big enough for you to get through it.
00:58:15 Everything the devil has ever done to you, God made sure that in the design was an exit.

01:03:32 The Bible says this in Daniel 4 and 25.
01:03:34 He says, "You will be driven away from the people

01:03:44 You will eat grass like the ox
01:03:47 and be drenched with the dew of heaven."

01:03:55 he was sitting in a palace eating like a king.
01:03:59 After he built the wall around God's people,
01:04:03 he was eating grass like an ox.
01:04:09 When you come up against God's people--

01:04:19 "Don't lose your position messing with me."

01:04:25 In one verse, he's a king.
01:04:28 In the next verse, he's eating grass.
01:04:35 This is why you ain't got to be spending your life

01:05:51 So now Nebuchadnezzar is eating grass.

01:06:59 but you got to get a breakout spirit.
01:07:05 You got to get the kind of spirit
01:07:08 that even when you're losing stuff,
01:07:10 you don't lose your mind.
01:07:15 Does what I'm saying make sense to you?
01:07:20 I've been preaching long enough to know
01:07:22 that not everybody will get this,
01:07:25 and it's easy to get distracted when you're being convicted.
01:07:31 And have at it,
01:07:33 because I'm at this stage in my life right now.
01:07:35 I used to think I could save everybody.
01:07:37 I don't care to save everybody no more in my life.
01:07:39 I'm going to save who wants to be saved,
01:07:41 and I'm going to look at the rest of you all go to hell.
01:07:45 I mean what I just said.
01:07:47 I have tried to kill myself
01:07:50 trying to figure out just how to preach a sermon
01:07:54 to get everybody to believe.
01:07:57 Then I woke up and realized
01:07:59 it's not my job to make you believe.
01:08:02 It's my job to tell you about the one you should believe in.
01:08:08 And I am convinced without a shadow of a doubt
01:08:12 that the only way to heaven is by Jesus Christ.
01:08:16 And I will never become a pluralist that says
01:08:18 there are more than one way.
01:08:20 My Bible don't show me more than one way.
01:08:30 Today, the onus is on you to get a breakout spirit.
01:08:34 I can't surgically put it in you.
01:08:37 I can't hoop until you feel like you're free.
01:08:41 I can't scream myself to death until you feel like you're free.
01:08:46 I should be able to whisper Jesus and you feel it.
01:08:56 And I did not preach because I didn't sing.
01:08:59 And I did not preach because I didn't hoop.
01:09:03 And I did not preach because I ain't make you feel good.
01:09:08 I preach today because I challenged you
01:09:13 to find the crack and to climb through it
01:09:17 even if you get cut on the way out.
01:09:27 Can I tell you, does the idea of hell scare you?
01:09:39 Do you know that if you don't believe in Jesus and you die,
01:09:42 that's where you'll go?
01:09:47 And do you know that those of us who are alive
01:09:52 will watch you as we are caught up?
01:09:58 And it is as simple as saying,
01:10:00 "I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus."
01:10:04 "I believe in my heart that God raised his son from the dead."
01:10:08 That's the whole game.
01:10:11 What happens as a result of that?
01:10:13 He gives you the Holy Spirit.
01:10:16 And when you have the Holy Spirit,
01:10:17 what kind of spirit do you have?
01:10:19 The blackout spirit.
01:10:24 I can't make it any more simpler than that.
01:10:28 Do you want him?
01:10:31 Do you desire him?
01:10:34 If you're not saved, nobody walking out
01:10:37 unless you got an emergency.
01:10:39 If you're not saved and you know that hell is a reality,
01:10:45 but you know that the Holy Spirit can banish the pain,
01:10:51 and you're going to take charge of your own salvation.
01:10:56 Watch this.
01:10:57 Look at me.
01:10:58 So that if nobody answers the phone,
01:11:00 you can pray for yourself.
01:11:08 Let me tell you how you know you've grown.
01:11:10 When you stop asking people to pray for you
01:11:13 and you start asking them to pray with you.
01:11:21 It may happen one day,
01:11:24 but I ain't never been in so much pain
01:11:26 where I couldn't say, "Lord, help me."
01:11:29 I couldn't say a lot of stuff.
01:11:32 Maybe you've been so hurt you couldn't say, "I'm sorry."
01:11:34 Maybe you've been so hurt that you can't say, "I love you."
01:11:37 But I've always been able to say, "Lord, help me."
01:11:43 Grab yourself.
01:11:46 Maybe for the first time this year, I don't know.
01:11:50 I'm going to give you 15 seconds to pray for you.
01:11:52 Go. Pray for you.

01:11:57 Pray for you.

01:12:07 Nobody knows what you need but you.
