Kate Apologises For Edited Photo Confusion

Princess Catherine says she’s sorry for any confusion her recent family photo may have caused. In a tweet on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official account, she took responsibility for editing the photo.
Kensington Palace released the image of Princess Catherine and her three children for Mother’s Day. It was hoped that the sweet picture of Kate with George, Charlotte and Louis would end online speculation about the princess’ health and whereabouts.
But shortly after its release, several major news organisations withdrew the picture, claiming it had been digitally manipulated. The Associated Press was the first agency to pull the image as it "did not meet" the agency's photo standards noting an "inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte's left hand".
