European Victims Day 2024 - Peter Heathwood

Emotional testimony from Peter Heathwood at a European Victims Day event at Stormont on Monday 11th March 2024, hosted by TUV leader Jim Allister. Mr Heathwood was shot by loyalist terrorists in a case of mistaken identity in September 1979. He survived the shooting but his father died of a heart attack. Mr Heathwood is a trained history teacher and was a successful insurance salesman. He was paralysed in the attack, and would be forever confined to a wheelchair
