March 10 marks the sacred day of Mario Day, where fans around the world celebrate our favorite platforming plumber. Shigeru Miyamoto-san joins us to introduce some updates within the Mario universe. To start, the Illumination team is hard at work with the next installment in The Super Mario Bros. Movie franchise. Chris Meledandri announced that the film is releasing on April 3, 2026 in the US and other territories alongside the release in other select territories throughout April 2026. To wrap the announcements. Players can enjoy Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on May 23 for Nintendo Switch alongside Luigi's Mansion 2 HD on June 27 for Nintendo Switch. Lastly, Dr. Mario, Mario Golf, and Maro Tennis will be available later this week on March 12 through a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
