00:00 Tia Mowry and Corey Hardrick are reuniting on the red carpet.
00:04 The Sister Sister star was doing press at the Esque's Black Women in Hollywood Awards
00:08 when she spotted her ex-husband, who also appeared to be speaking with media right next
00:12 to her.
00:13 The 45-year-old actress laughed and waved to Corey before the two brought it in for
00:16 a semi-awkward hug.
00:17 HuffPost caught the moment on video and posted it to social media.
00:29 The former couple finalized their divorce last year after 14 years of marriage and maintain
00:34 a co-parenting dynamic for their two children.
00:36 They even spent the past Thanksgiving together along with their kids posting the sweet moment
00:40 to social media.
00:41 Back in 2022, Tia had announced her and Corey's split in a heartfelt Instagram, writing in
00:45 part, "These decisions are never easy and not without sadness."
00:50 Access Hollywood caught up with the actress on the red carpet at Thursday's Essence
00:53 Black Women in Hollywood Awards, where she reflected on approaching the 30-year anniversary
00:57 of Sister Sister.
00:58 "Of course, we're approaching the 30th anniversary of Sister Sister.
01:02 What do you remember most about that time in your life?
01:05 What was maybe the biggest impact that show had on you outside of the obvious?"
01:09 "I think the biggest impact that show had on me is really being able to believe in a
01:16 dream.
01:17 I mean, at such a young age, I mean, I was 14 years old when, you know, that show came
01:25 on the air and then it was just, you know, this incredible, massive hit.
01:31 But I think, I just feel so blessed to be able to have been given such a great moment,
01:38 you know what I mean, at such a young age.
01:40 I think it's helped me as I've gotten older.
01:43 Whenever I feel lost or like, 'Oh my gosh, I can't do this,' I actually look back at,
01:49 you know, when I was younger and I was like, 'Wow, you know what I mean, Tia?
01:52 You know, all things are possible.'
01:56 But yeah, I would say that.
01:57 Being able to see a dream, you know, come into fruition at such a young age is a blessing,
02:02 you know?
02:03 And I'm doing it with my sister, you know?
02:05 Having that built-in support, which is, it was wonderful because, you know, it's scary,
02:13 you know, becoming this child actor at such a young age.
02:16 But to be able to have someone that's going through it at the same time and right beside
02:21 you and next to you, it didn't feel so scary.
02:24 So I feel very blessed.
