00:36 she had a 53% lifetime risk of developing breast cancer
00:40 due to her family history.
00:42 However, SZA then admits she purposely avoided
00:44 seeing Dr. Ali Abadi to get the all clear
00:47 before undergoing the procedure.
00:50 - Yeah, so then by the time the results came back
00:52 and by the time I had in, I was supposed to see you
00:54 before I got my breast surgery, but I didn't.

01:06 like I have markers in my breast,
01:07 like metal markers in my breast for all these fibrosis,
01:10 for these lumps or whatever,
01:11 I'm not supposed to be getting breast implants.
01:14 - This new singer reveals that the surgery
01:16 ended up causing another health issue, fibrosis,
01:19 which is the thickening and scarring of connective tissue.
01:23 - What's crazy is when I got my boobs done,
01:26 my doctor took out some of my fibrosis.
01:30 But he was like, there was so much fibrosis.
01:33 It was crazy.
01:34 - SZA explains that going through the surgery
01:36 was the wrong decision and now realizes
01:39 that she's just not meant to have breast implants.
01:42 - So basically I put them in, they ended up hurting me.
01:45 I got way too much scar tissue
01:47 because my breasts are too dense
01:48 and I'm not supposed to have breast implants.
01:50 - And this isn't the first time the songwriter
01:52 has come clean about past plastic surgery procedures.
