00:51 million in January 2023 slid to 2.15 million in the same period in 2024. This year the number of

01:06 and other livelihoods such as repair work have increased. The number of employees who have
01:12 obtained regular income also rose. Finance Secretary Ralph Recto allowed the improvement
01:18 in the quality of jobs available in the Philippines. This as more Filipinos become
01:24 engaged in formal and stable work. The improvement in the quality of jobs is also a reflection
01:31 of the drop in the underemployment in the country. The Department of Finance reaffirms its commitment
01:38 in fostering an environment that is conducive to employment generating activities. President
01:45 Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. aims to further promote a favorable business environment in the Philippines.
