Timon is a graffiti artist from Amsterdam. During his first visit to New York he jumps straight into checking out the graffiti-scene.
While discovering old masters from graffiti's history (Tatscru) he finds out graffiti-culture has changed in major ways. Prison and paint has put an end to glorious times of this art that belonged to the streets but no longer does.
When meeting a friend of the old scene he is touched by finding a whole wall of excellent graffiti-art being covered by paint. Together they unravel the story of graffiti while trying to find some remains of truth underneath the thick "white". Is the oppression of graffiti the reason for an increasing number of criminality in the city of New York? Timon is shocked.
