00:00 Just to start off, obviously you're here because you're doing really well in wrestling, but I know you do a few different martial arts.
00:05 What is it about wrestling that really sticks out to you?
00:08 Wrestling, always drawn to it. A lot of people from where I come from do it a lot for their main Olympic sport.
00:18 And then the other ones, I also like them a lot.
00:22 But wrestling is the one that sticks out because it's something that I've not been doing as long as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,
00:28 but it's something that stuck out to me and just stuck to it.
00:31 So how did the whole Scotland camp, Scotland call-up come about?
00:35 I started travelling, mainly I started training in HMAC with Ross Houston.
00:42 And then me and my dad, my dad drove me down to Nico's wrestling gym in SBG Moray, and I trained there for a couple of times.
00:50 And then Nico asked me if I would be interested in joining the National Pathway Programme for wrestling.
00:59 And yeah, and did a couple of trainings, checked if I was right enough to do it, and yeah, it happened.
01:06 How did you find going down to the Pathway?
01:08 Good. They were very, very high level, people from all around the world.
01:16 There was a lot of resources there I could use, so supplements, everything, food, and yeah, Fed took care of us.
01:23 What was the biggest thing you learned from being involved in that, do you think?
01:28 Training with different types of fighters in wrestling and how to cooperate with them, how to take them down,
01:36 how to be more dynamic with fighters, along with coaches that taught me this from all around the world.
01:44 What's the sort of long-term goal for wrestling or for martial arts?
01:49 Maybe, I don't know, maybe something in the Olympics, maybe going further into clubs, maybe bigger camps,
01:57 maybe going to MMA more, doing a couple more cage fights, and that's it, something like that.
