00:11 Yesterday, the supply of fresh tamban and galunggong was available in this place,

00:19 in Mega Q Mart in Quezon City.

00:21 The tamban is P180 per kilo,

00:24 while the galunggong is P220 per kilo.

00:27 According to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of BIFAR,

00:30 the closed fishing season is over,

00:32 so the supply of fish has increased.

00:34 The supply of galunggong and tamban is increasing compared to the past,

00:40 it was mostly frozen.

00:41 How's the price?

00:43 It's still a bit high.

00:45 Why is that, sir?

00:46 Maybe the supply is still low,

00:49 but if it increases, it will probably decrease.

00:52 Other fish such as catfish can be bought for P180 per kilo,

00:57 there's a halibut for P240 per kilo,

01:00 tilapia is for P130 per kilo,

01:03 while the mackerel is for P190 per kilo.

01:05 The price of fish is still high,

01:08 so the buyers here are on a budget.

01:10 If you buy a halibut, you don't have enough money.

01:13 You just need a budget.

01:15 The one that fits us is just right.

01:18 If you can't really buy a kilo,

01:20 to buy food, you can buy one quart,

01:23 or half a kilo.

01:24 For me, as long as you know how to budget,

01:29 even if it's expensive, you can still buy food.

01:31 The fish sellers are hoping for a higher demand

01:34 for the upcoming Holy Week.

01:36 They can't say if the price will increase.

01:39 If it's a Holy Week,

01:40 the supply is low,

01:42 it will increase,

01:43 but if there's a lot of supply,

01:45 it will decrease.
